Abstract: Provided is a distributed type image forming system which reduces storage capacity of server. An encryption addition part encrypts a document data for outputting by pull print with a symmetric key, encrypts the symmetric key by a public key of a user who is permitted to output of the document data, and adds the encrypted symmetric key to the document data. A division part divides document data into a job block and a user block having the symmetric key encrypted by the public key of the user and generates the blockchain of document data. A key decoding part decrypts the symmetric key included in the user block with the secret key of the user. A block acquisition part acquires other blocks from preserving apparatuses. A document reproduction part packs each block to reproduce document data. An output part outputs the reproduced document data.
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a receiving unit that receives an operation for specifying an image to be subjected to processing and an operation for determining a parameter to be used in the processing, an execution unit that performs processing based on the determined parameter on the specified image, and an output unit that outputs, when the receiving unit receives an operation for specifying a new image, a parameter that has a particular relationship with a feature of the new image on a basis of a learning result obtained by a learning unit that learns a relationship between a parameter used in the processing that has been performed before by the execution unit and a feature of an image that has undergone the processing.
Abstract: A wireless connection establishment method of an image forming apparatus using a mobile terminal is provided. The wireless connection establishment method includes, while the image forming apparatus is operating in a wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) Direct mode, receiving a request to switch to a wireless setup mode, terminating the Wi-Fi Direct mode and connecting to a mobile terminal by entering the wireless setup mode, receiving access point (AP) connection information from the mobile terminal, establishing a connection to an AP by using the received AP connection information, and starting the Wi-Fi Direct mode.

Abstract: This image forming apparatus determines, in accordance with state information indicating the state of the image forming apparatus, whether or not a timing for executing an authentication process of a removable cartridge has arrived. Furthermore, if the timing for executing a cartridge authentication process has arrived, this image forming apparatus obtains authentication information regarding authentication from the cartridge, and determines, from the authentication information, whether or not an authentication process is required to be executed. When an authentication process has been executed, an authentication result is written in a storage area of the cartridge.
