Abstract: According to an information transmission app, a CPU of an information processing terminal is configured to obtain connection information of an access point of wireless network and determine whether there exists an electronic device having completed the setup. When determining that there exists an electronic device having completed the setup, the CPU determines whether to transmit the connection information to an other electronic device. Further, when determining that there exists the first electronic device having completed the setup or when determining that the connection information is to be transmitted to the other electronic device, the CPU transmits the connection information to the other electronic device, and when determining that that the connection information is not to be transmitted, the CPU does not transmits the connection information. The other electronic device completes the setup using the connection information transmitted from the information processing terminal.
Abstract: A non-transitory storage medium stores a plurality of instructions readable by a computer of an information processing apparatus. The plurality of instructions cause the information processing apparatus to execute (a) adding processing of instructing an operating system of the information processing apparatus to add a particular device that communicates with the information processing apparatus, (b) when pairing by the operating system is completed after the adding processing, making-available processing of instructing the operating system to make wireless communication available based on a particular profile, and (c) after execution of the making-available processing, setup processing of setting up for executing wireless communication with the particular device by software based on the particular profile. The setup processing is not executed in a case where an availability of wireless communication is not stored in the storage so as to be associated with the particular device information.
Abstract: A discharge system includes: a reader unit configured to obtain read images corresponding to images of a plurality of pages by reading printed sheets of a printing job for printing the plurality of pages; a detection unit configured to detect a printing failure of each of the printed sheets using the read images; and a discharge unit configured to discharge each of the printed sheets in a discharge mode that depends on a detection result of the printing failure. The discharge unit discharges one or more printed sheets to a first discharge destination in a first discharge mode until the printing failure is detected, discharges a failure sheet in a second discharge mode in response to the printing failure being detected, and discharges a reprinted sheet on which the same page as the failure sheet is printed to the first discharge destination.
Abstract: A follower circuit includes a communication circuit coupled to a data pad and an authentication circuit to conduct a communication session. The communication circuit detects a stepped voltage signal having a plurality of successive voltage levels of three voltage levels on the data pad to initiate a data frame of the communication session and provides a voltage signal to the data pad to request the communication session. The authentication circuit coupled to the communication circuit identifies a parameter in the data frame.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a sensor configured to detect an original, a nonvolatile storage that includes a semiconductor area, a setting unit configured to execute a setting for dividing the semiconductor area into a plurality of areas, and a controller configured to execute Trim processing on the divided areas in response to passing of a predetermined time period while the image forming apparatus is in a standby state. Abstract: An imaging device comprises a scanning unit to create a scanned image of a document placed in the scanning unit. The imaging device comprises a remote scan management engine to create a remote scan request indicator in response to a remote access request received from a client device connected to the imaging device for remotely accessing the scanned image. The remote scan request indicator indicative of an authorization status of the remote access request. The authorization status being at least one of authorized, refused, and pending for authorization. The imaging device comprises a print engine to print a document copy having the scanned image and a remote scan request indicator. The remote scan request indicator is to allow an owner of the document to access the remote access authorization indicator to update the authorization status, to secure authorized access of the scanned image.
