Abstract: A garment is provided in various styles and fits that includes an accessory pocket configured to comfortably accommodate and retain accessories, such as meditation crystals or stones in discrete pockets strategically placed at chakra locations within the garment. The accessory pocket comprises an elastic pocket opening in the garment fabric. The elastic pocket opening provides access to a pocket bag, dimensioned to accommodate an accessory, such as a chakra crystal. A color strip is implemented interior to the pocket and at least partially visible from an exterior of the pocket, corresponds to the accessory, e.g., indicates a particular chakra crystal that is appropriate to the particular pocket location. Particular chakra crystal pocket locations are selected to place chakra crystals in chakra locations corresponding to at least one of seven chakra locations.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are embodiments of a spacer for spacing a face covering from a mouth of a wearer, the spacer including a first attachment point, a second attachment point, and a shape-retaining first support member outwardly and downwardly extending between the first and second attachment points. The first support member can be configured for disposition in front of the face of the wearer to distance the face covering from the mouth of the wearer to create a space therebetween. The first and second attachment points can be configured to releasably couple the first support member to eyewear and/or headwear.

Abstract: A universal mounting system for a hard hat is provided that includes front and rear mounting locations and auxiliary ridges on either side. A visor is coupled to the hard hat mounting system in such a way as to provide access with minimal interference from the visor to the equipment attached to the mounting locations and ports in the auxiliary ridges. Various embodiments of visors enable modular designs that incorporate different materials and features of the visor. Parallel stretch zones enable folding and holding opposite brims of the visor. Enclosed elastic areas along the inner sides of visor provide user access to auxiliary ridges. Combinations of various accessories on hard hat and how the accessories work together on the universal mounting system are discussed: such as the interaction between visors, earmuffs, face shields, and lamps.

Abstract: Aspects herein are directed to an apparel layer system configured to provide variable levels of insulation, warming, or air permeability. The apparel layer system comprises a first layer of material and a second layer of material both extending in a first planar direction. A third layer of material is positioned between the first and the second layers of material and is selectively affixed thereto. An adjustment mechanism coupled to the second layer of material can be mechanically manipulated to shift the second layer of material between different positions or states to achieve variable levels of offset between the first and second layers of material in the first planar direction and in a second direction perpendicular to the first planar direction.

Abstract: A lumbar support pouch for a ballistics vest comprises an elongate pouch having a first open end and a second open end. A laterally extending tab is attached to an upper side of the elongate pouch and is configured to attach to a lower end of a ballistics vest. A first medical kit is inserted into and retained by the first pocket and has a first grasping strap extending from the first medical kit for grasping by a user. A second medical kit is inserted into and retained by the second pocket and has a second grasping strap extending from the second medical kit for grasping by a user. The pouch and medical kits form a lumbar support for a ballistics vest when attached thereto.

Abstract: A helmet including an outer shell and a holding device which includes a perimeter forming a closed loop, at least two straps attached to the perimeter and/or to the shell and a support cushion. The holding device further includes a force absorber provided with at least three orifices for the passage of at least one strap, each orifice connecting a first and a second face of the force absorber. At least one strap passes successively through a first orifice, a second orifice and a third orifice, extending on the first face between the first orifice and the second orifice and on the second face between the second orifice and the third orifice. The strap is folded 180° around an edge of the second orifice.

Abstract: A helmet with an adjustable helmet shell is provided for use in sports including baseball and softball. The helmet shell is expandable and contractable to fit a variety of head shapes and sizes, and hairstyles. The helmet shell may be a single, molded piece or it may include a base member and a flap member. Gaps or slots may be located between flexible side portions and a flexible rear portion of the helmet shell. The slots facilitate outward deflection of the side portions and the rear portion when the helmet is donned. The helmet shell may be biased toward a smaller size such that once the helmet shell is expanded by the force of a wearer's head, it contracts to fit snugly and securely.

Abstract: A helmet, system, and method are described for providing a helmet for wearers with a cochlear implant or similar device. To accomplish this feat, the helmet will have at least one insert on the inner surface that accommodates and protects the cochlear implant device on the wearer's head. The described helmet, system, and method may be used for various activities including, but not limited to, biking, football, and skiing.

The surgical helmet comprises a protrusion (746) extending from a top beam (729) and configured to removably secure the surgical garment to the surgical helmet, and a projection (754) extending transversely from the protrusion to retain the surgical garment. The retaining plate defines a throughhole, and a prong extending from the engaging plate engages the retaining plate by insertion through the headwear and throughhole. A temple attachment member has a flexible hollow sleeve, a recessed surface on one side of the sleeve, and second magnetic material installed in the recessed surface. The flexible hollow sleeve can slidably engage a temple of the eyeglasses, so that the eyeglasses when placed on the headwear equipped with the attachment assembly are held thereto by attraction of the magnetic materials. The first and second magnetic materials may be interchangeably installed in the engaging plate and the flexible sleeve.

Abstract: A protective glove can include a unitary dorsal panel formed from an inner scrim material and a plurality of protective elements molded directly to an exterior surface of the inner scrim. Two or more protective elements can be formed as an array of discrete islands each separated by substantially zero-elevation interstitial spaces. The unitary dorsal panel can be sewn or otherwise attached circumferentially to the palmer sections of the glove. This array of protective elements can provide increased protection to the user's fingers, hands, wrists, and lower forearms while maintaining flexibility and tactile feel on both palmar and dorsal sides of the glove, increasing flexibility where needed without compromising protection.

Certain embodiments include novel quick release features that permit the detachment of a facemask from a helmet in 30 seconds or less so as to attend to an injured player in a rapid fashion. Other aspects relate to impact energy absorbing constructions employing an inner layer, an outer layer spaced apart from the inner padding layer, at least one layer that includes an array of polygonal structures, and at least one layer having a shock-absorbing elastomer, a visco-elastic polymer, an impact dispersing gel, or shape memory material. Still other embodiments include a wireless device with a sensor module coupled to the football helmet generating sensor data in response to an impact to the football helmet.

The inner liner defines an inner liner ventilation aperture and a recessed track. A ventilation control includes a slider plate and a boss disposed on the slider plate. The boss is configured to be frictionally retained within the recessed track while providing for the slider plate to be reversibly displaced along the recessed track from a first position in which the slider plate blocks a flow of air through the inner liner ventilation aperture to a second position in which the slider plate permits the flow of air through the inner liner ventilation aperture. The slider plate is configured to be reversibly displaced between the first and second position by a force applied upon a lower surface of the slider plate from within the helmet.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel better grip glove. The device is designed to fill the gap or space between the palm of the hand and the handle or other equipment to increase swing speed and improve other mechanics. The glove includes a specialized glove and a wedge-like insert that extends over the thumb and onto the palm of the hand. The insert conforms to the user's hand and the handle. The insert component is thicker near the thumb and first finger and decreases in thickness as it approaches the palm of the hand. Users can easily place the specialized batting glove on the hand to eliminate the gap between the hand and the handle to improve mechanics.

Abstract: The present invention provides a lens assembly structure of swimming goggles. The lens assembly structure comprises two lenses, two retaining walls, two skirt portions, and two frame portions. Each of the lenses includes an eye side and a water side opposing to the eye side. The two retaining walls are provided on the eye sides of the lenses, respectively, and each of the retaining walls defines a visible area and a connection area. Each of the retaining walls has a configuration, and the corresponding skirt portion is disposed along the configuration. The connection area of the lens is affixed in the corresponding frame portion. The configuration of each of the retaining walls is a curve having a contour which is less complicated than a peripheral configuration of the lens.
