Example features may be configured to respond to user inputs submitted from the interactive component. Furthermore, reward logic can be included to issue a reward to the publisher associated with the script request.

Abstract: A computer system is provided that includes a paired list of data transaction requests on which a matching process is performed. There are multiple different types of data transaction requests that are stored in the paired list including data transaction requests with midpoint attributes and data transaction requests with discretion attributes. The computer system may determine how the multiple different types of data transaction requests may be match against each other. Two matching processes can be used to determine if a match exists between the first and second sides of the paired list. Matches that are determined at private values are not disseminated to third-parties via public market data feeds.

Abstract: An apparatus for pricing offers of healthcare services includes an application server providing a pricing tool, and a service pricing information database and a cost adjustment information database that are accessible by the application server. The pricing tool is operable to receive an indication of a healthcare service set that is respectively associated with a service detail information record included in the service pricing information database, determine a base physician fee for a primary service of the indicated healthcare service set based on base pricing metrics for the primary service included in the service detail information record, receive an indication specifying a location for performing the primary service, calculate an adjusted physician fee for the primary service based on cost adjustment metrics for a geographic zone that corresponds to the specified location, and provide a recommended price for the indicated healthcare service set based on the calculated adjusted physician fee.

Abstract: A shopping cart comprises a shopping cart body and a handle coupled to the shopping cart body. The handle includes a haptic feedback device for providing haptic feedback when the shopping cart body is in motion and a speaker that provides audio feedback when the shopping cart body is in motion along a navigation path at which an item of interest is positioned. The shopping cart further comprises an object detection device for detecting objects along the navigation path in communication with the haptic feedback device and/or the speaker for providing feedback or audio feedback, respectively. A navigation device identifies the navigation path to the item of interest. A special purpose processor processes a shopping list application that includes the item of interest, and communicates with the navigation device to determine the navigation path at which the item of interest is positioned.

Abstract: A system or method is provided to implement electronic wardrobes for consumers. When a user makes a purchase, the system may determine whether the purchase includes wearable items, such as clothes or other wearable accessories. An electronic wardrobe may be created for the user to store the wearable items purchased by the user. The electronic wardrobe of the user may be broadcasted by the user's mobile device to other nearby consumers via Near Field Communication (NFC), such as low energy Bluetooth (BLE) communication. For example, if the user is wearing a shirt and a nearby consumer wishes to find out more about the shirt, the consumer may discover the user's electronic wardrobe via NFC to find information about the shirt, such as where the shirt was purchase, the make and model of the shirt, the price of the shirt, and the like.

Abstract: Learning vector-space representations of items for recommendations using word embedding models is described. In one or more embodiments, a word embedding model is used to produce item vector representations of items based on considering items interacted with as words and items interacted with during sessions as sentences. The item vectors are used to produce item recommendations similar to currently or recently viewed items.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for browsing items in a network page. A plurality of images of a corresponding plurality of items are displayed in a network page rendered on a display device of a client device. A first level of information detail about each of the items is presented in the network page. A window is generated that is anchored to a currently designated one of the images. The window presents a second level of information detail about a respective one of the items depicted in the designated one of the images presented in the window. The currently designated one of the images is specified by navigating from image to image.

In embodiments, an e-commerce search engine can identify one or more generic identifiers and one or more nonessential search terms in a search query. The nonessential search terms can be disregarded to generate a set of candidate search results from a product and/or service index.

A system for providing a shopping list comprises at least one subsystem that receives input data containing product identification information, at least one subsystem that determines location information of a product identified by the product identification information, and at least one subsystem that determines a proposed route from a particular location to a location of the product identified by the location information.

Abstract: Disclosed is a system for viewing video having segmented video objects, sharing selected ones of the video objects, and purchasing products associated with the video objects. The system includes a video server communicating with a consumer server over a distributed network. The video server includes at least one video file, an object inventory database, and relevant content in a database stored on or accessible to the video server. The object inventory database contains information describing a location of at least one video object within the at least one video file. A video overlay links the relevant content with a given video object and creating a selectable hyperlink whose position tracks a dynamic location of the video object in the video. The consumer server includes a software application for accessing and displaying the at least one video file stored in the video database, the software application including means for interacting with the video overlay to select an object displayed in the video file.

Abstract: In accordance with an embodiment, described herein is a system and method for providing access to media content associated with an artist scheduled for performance. A media application enables display of a playlist personalized for a user, based on a location of the user, a list of artists scheduled for performance, and a media consumption history of the user. An input action causes a media server to populate the playlist with media content. The media server determines the location of the user, retrieves those performance listings within a predetermined distance, retrieves the media consumption history of the user, filters the performance listings based on the media consumption history to obtain a set of artists having performance listings relevant to the user, selects media content items associated with each artist, and organizes the selected media content items within the playlist.

Abstract: Described are computer-based methods and apparatuses, including computer program products, for designing assays. A database stores a set of user-selectable element data objects, a set of user-selectable operation data objects, and a set of validation rules for the one or more assays that can be used to determine whether an assay is valid. Data is received that is indicative of selecting, for a candidate assay specification, a first set of element data objects and a first set of operation data objects. The candidate assay specification is generated based on the received data. The candidate assay specification is validated. An assay data file is generated for the candidate assay specification that includes the first set of element data objects and the first set of operation data objects, such that the assay data file can be shared among a set of users.
