Abstract: According to the embodiments of the present invention, there is provided a method for training an image semantics annotation apparatus, comprising: a. providing a plurality of training images, wherein semantics and visual attribution description of respective training images are known; b. inputting at least part of the training images to a locator of the image semantic annotation apparatus; c. determining, by the locator, at least one local area of each input training image, and inputting the determined respective local areas into an attribute predictor of the image semantic annotation apparatus; d. obtaining a visual attribute prediction result of each input local area from the attribute predictor; e. training the locator and the attribute predictor according to the obtained visual attribute prediction result of each local area and a known visual attribute description of the corresponding training image.

Abstract: A mechanism is provided in a data processing system comprising at least one processor and at least one memory, the at least one memory comprising instructions which are executed by the at least one processor and configure the processor to implement a document processing system. A spell check confidence component executing within the document processing system records a mapping of misspelled words to corrected words for set of documents. The spell check confidence component generates an error-to-correction frequency model based on the mapping. A parser executing within the document processing system parses an input document to extract words in the error-to-correction frequency model. The spell check confidence component calculates a precision score for each word in the input document found in the error-to-correction frequency model. The precision score represents a probability that the extracted word is spelled correctly as intended in the input document.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method of verifying a simultaneous edit match for a markup language-based document according to the present invention simultaneously apply a predetermined edit command set to a markup language-based document through simultaneous edit sessions, compare tags of the markup language-based documents, which are completely edited in respective edit sessions, and determine whether the tags of both documents are matched to each other, to assist a developer to determine whether a currently operated simultaneous edit support algorithm of a document normally supports a simultaneous edit according to edit commands included in the corresponding edit command set.

Abstract: A method and device for displaying pages in application program and a computer-readable medium are provided. The method includes: receiving a first preset operation of a user on an application program that is currently running; displaying path information of pages accessed historically by the user in the application program according to the first preset operation, wherein the path information comprise a sequential relationship among the pages.

Abstract: A method comprising receiving digital documents, a query statement, and a summary length constraint; identifying, for each of said digital documents, a sentence subset, based, at least in part, on said query statement, a modified version of said summary length constraint, and a first set of quality objectives, generating, for each of said sentence subsets, a random forest representation; iteratively (i) sampling, from each of said random forest representations, a plurality of tokens to create a corresponding candidate document summary, based, at least in part, on weights assigned to each of said tokens, (ii) assigning a quality ranking to said candidate document summary, based, at least in part, on said first set of quality objectives and a second set of quality objectives, and (iii) adjusting said weights, based, at least in part, on said quality rankings; and outputting a highest ranking said candidate document as a compressed summary.

Abstract: Systems and methods for processing input streams of calendar applications. An example method, performed by a computer system, may comprise receiving an input stream; processing the input stream to produce a sequence of characters; responsive to determining that the sequence of characters comprises a time reference, storing, in a memory, a calendar entry in a first data structure of a first type, the calendar entry comprising an identifier of a time referenced by the time reference; responsive to determining that the sequence of characters does not comprise a time reference, storing, in the memory, a memorandum in a second data structure of a second type, the memorandum comprising at least part of the sequence of characters.

Abstract: A method and a device are disclosed including plug-in software components that are integrated with document processing software suites. The plug-in software components provide a set of integrated interfaces for collaborative document processing in conjunction with multiple remote file, data, and application service providers. The set of interfaces enable coauthoring a document, document merging, discovering and displaying context-sensitive metadata on a software dashboard based on permissions associated with the metadata and/or a client computing device, caching, symmetric distributed document merge with the multiple service providers, and integrated search and insertion of multimedia data in documents, among others. The documents typically include, but are not limited to formatted text documents, spreadsheet documents, and slide presentation documents.

The method may also include detecting a first criterion of the set of criteria using a content recognition system configured to analyze user-generated data associated with the document. The first criterion may be correlated with a portion of the document. The method may also include generating, based on the first criterion, a document preview for the portion of the document. The method may also include presenting, in response to a triggering event for a display preview, the document preview.

Abstract: A machine performs menu modification based on information that indicates how a controller device was manipulated by a user. The machine causes a media device to display a portion of a menu. The machine accesses controller manipulation data generated by a controller device in fully or partially controlling the media device, such as controller manipulation data that indicates a sequence of physical manipulations experienced by the controller device being operated by a user to select menu items. Based on the sequence of physical manipulations, the machine selects a profile identifier from a set of profile identifiers. Based on the profile identifier, the machine selects a first subset of the menu. The first subset indicates menu items to be hidden, unlike a second subset of the menu. The machine causes the media device to modify the menu by omitting the first subset while continuing to display the second subset.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses for configuring a web application for global money transfers include a customer mobile device, a processor, and a memory having processor-readable instructions that cause the processor to collect data from a web application, whereby the web application is provided on the customer mobile device in operative communication with the host computer, and determine at least one of an optional field and a required field based on the collected data. The at least one optional field and required field may receive input for conducting a money transfer. Abstract: Systems and techniques for storing an electronic document signed during an electronic document signing process. A computing device receives an electronic document that includes content within a content area, an image field positioned on the content area, and a cross sign field positioned partially on the image field and partially on the content area. The computing device receives an image to populate the image field and a signature to populate the cross sign field. The computing devices creates a first signature portion and a second signature portion by splitting the signature. The image is modified with the first signature portion and the content area is modified with the second signature portion. The computing device stores the electronic document by storing a file having separate elements, the separate elements including the modified content area and the modified image, without including the complete signature, unaltered content area, or unaltered image.
