Abstract: An anhydrous ammonia distribution system includes a portable nurse tank 12 powered by an operator cab 13. One or more distributors 22 receive anhydrous ammonia from the nurse tank, and a plurality of knife hoses 30 deliver anhydrous ammonia from a distributor to a selected number of knives 31 for delivery to the field. Pressure gauge 32, 34 is provided for monitoring pressure at one or more distributors, and a camera 42 positioned within enclosure 40 transmits a reading from the pressure gauge to the operator cab, thereby alerting the operator to a malfunction in the delivery system.

Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to a system and method for facilitating the interpretation of Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions (MIME) data. Specifically, embodiments disclosed herein are directed to receiving MIME data and identifying structural information encoded within the MIME data. A MIME reader is then used to analyze the MIME data to interpret the encoded structural information and generate at least one primitive based on the encoded structural information. A MIME writer may be used to generate corresponding MIME data from the at least one primitive based on the encoded structural information. Embodiments also provide that corrupted MIME data interpreted by the MIME reader may be identified and corrected.

Abstract: Methods, devices, and systems are provided for remotely updating provisioning data in devices or a population of devices. An update message is generated that includes an Object Identifier (OID) that uniquely identifies eligible devices or components for the provisioning data update. If an eligible device receives the update message, then the new provisioning data is loaded on the device, thereby replacing the old provisioning data on the device.

Abstract: A method and a corresponding apparatus for managing software licenses on a plurality of computer are proposed. The present method and system aim at populating a software catalog without the manual intervention of an administrator. The present invention reduces the cost of producing and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge base (the catalog) which contains definitions of software products and the related use signature. Information about software products and their related signature is obtained through a process which gathers information with an automated process which takes an initial snapshot of all processes running on a monitored data processing system and makes a comparison with a final snapshot after execution of a software product has been started. A “use signature” of the software product is then generated according to the difference.

Abstract: A system and method of emulating a network controller within an information handling system is disclosed. In one form, an information handling system can include a host chipset operably coupled to a network interface controller of a first main circuit board, and a management controller operably coupled to the host chipset. The information handling system can also include an emulated network interface controller operable to be activated by the management controller. The information handling system can further include a communication bus coupled to the host chipset and the management controller. In one form, the communication bus is operable to activate a communication link between the host chipset and the emulated network interface controller.

Abstract: A method of information transfer, comprising receiving an event report and sending the event report if the report matches event report subscription information. A policy and charging rule function (PCRF) and mobile communication system are also disclosed in the present invention, thereby enabling the system to save network resources and increase the utilization of network resources.

Abstract: A hybrid system and method for delivering “streaming” media within the home. According to the method, small portions of media items from a controlling device are received at a rendering device for pre-caching into a cache. Upon a user selecting a media item for playback, play of the media item is immediately started from the cache in real-time while the remaining portions of the selected media item are downloaded from the controlling device and appended to cache at a rate faster than real-time.

Abstract: A computer system and associated method is disclosed for distributing electronic communication. The electronic communication is originated from a first originating destination and is to be sent to a distribution of recipient(s). The distribution can simply consist of one or a plurality of intended recipients. When delivery information is verified, any errors leading to delivery failure of the communication is corrected to be used in subsequent response communication originated by one or more of these recipients.

Abstract: Commands associated with an update allow a presenter display to be recreated by a viewer. The commands are delineated by end of update markers. Commands are transmitted to viewers in viewer updates to allow viewers to see information that was shown on the presenter display as it existed at a particular point in time. A target end of update marker will be selected for a viewer update and all commands necessary to recreate the presenter display at that point in time will be transmitted to the viewer. Since the target end of update marker may cause several presenter updates to be included in a given viewer update, some of the commands in the update queue may not need to be transmitted to the viewer. Prunability indicators are therefore added to commands to allow commands to be selected for transmission to a viewer based on the target end of update marker.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for maintaining presence settings of a user for buddies selected from different buddy groups regardless of which user accounts and which buddy accounts are used in a plurality of messaging services for the user and the buddies are described. The user may subscribe to the messaging services via one or more user accounts. Each buddy may subscribe to the messaging services via one or more buddy accounts. A presence setting may be associated with a buddy group including at least one buddy account of the buddies. One or more service specific settings matching the presence settings may be identified. Each service specific setting may specify a service specific presence of a messaging service for one of the user accounts and one of the buddy accounts. A presence notification message for the service specific setting may be determined to notify the messaging service for the presence setting.

The server computer dynamically reacts to diverse, incoming client load requirements without using a static processing timeout on the server computer side. Resources may be made available for other work.

Abstract: Scheduling an event on an electronic communications device configured for sending and receiving electronic messages over a communications network, including extracting information from an electronic message at the communications device; displaying on a display of the communications device an event scheduling interface for scheduling an event, the event scheduling interface having a plurality of input fields for receiving information about the event; and automatically populating at least one of the input fields in dependence on the extracted information.

Abstract: Organizing messages received and transmitted between at least two computer systems over a network is described. In one aspect, the method includes tracking where a user is gazing as the user is composing an outgoing message on a first computer system. During a composition time period in which the user is composing the message, a relevance rating for each of a plurality of gaze areas is determined. The relevance rating of a gaze area is based on a number of times the user's gaze dwells on the displayed message associated with the gaze area after the user's gaze is directed away from the displayed message. The method further includes identifying at least one displayed message that is related to the outgoing message based on the relevance ratings of each gaze area, and associating an identifier for at least one of the at least one related message with the outgoing message.

Abstract: In one aspect, a computer-implemented method of de-duplication of messages in a micro-blog includes receiving a first message and posting the first message to the micro-blog, receiving a second message, and classifying the second message as a new message or an edited version of the first message.

Abstract: A network meeting application for providing network meetings, such as web conference meetings, runs on a presenter device. In response to a request for a network meeting from an attendee device, the presenter device creates a secure desktop separate from a working desktop. The presenter may use the secure desktop to share documents, presentations, or other applications with the attendee device. The attendee device is blocked from accessing the working desktop of the presenter device. A presenter using the presenter device may switch between the working desktop and the secure desktop. Security policies, downloaded to the presenter device from a server, determine the applications the attendee may run on the secure desktop. The secure desktop thereby protects the integrity of the presenter's working desktop during a web conference meeting, while allowing documents, presentations, or other applications to be shared with attendees via the secure desktop.

Additionally, this technology provides tangible media exchange in a geographically local area, wherein the media exchange is prearranged based on the “buddy list,” peer-to-peer, social networking environment, and so forth.

Abstract: A client device selectively establishes connections between selected client communication components and corresponding server communication components. The client device receives data from the corresponding server communication components via the connections between the selected client communication components and the server communication components. The data received via different ones of the connections is associated with a different content stream of a teleconference. During the teleconference, a given connection is suspended. When the given connection is suspended, the client computing device continues to receive data via connections other than the given connection.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for transmitting and receiving information in an Internet Protocol (IP) network. In the method of allowing a client to receive information from a server, the client requests that a third client in a subnet to which the client belongs transmit the information, and receives the information that the third client transmits in response to the request. Accordingly, it is possible to quickly share information for a broadcast, which the server provides, while minimizing the load on the server.
