Abstract: Mobile payments and processing data related to electronic transactions. A near field communication connection is established between a mobile communication device of a consumer that serves as a mobile wallet and an electronic payment device of a merchant. Authorization data is shared between the mobile communication device and the electronic payment device without providing electronic payment instrument (e.g. credit card) data to the merchant. Authorization data is transmitted from the mobile communication device to a cloud computer or resource that serves as a cloud wallet and hosts respective data of respective electronic payment instruments of respective consumers, and from the electronic payment device a payment processor computer. The payment processor computer presents the authorization data to the cloud wallet, and in response, the cloud wallet transmits the credit card data to the payment processor computer, which processes the transaction.

Abstract: A method for audio based amount confirmation for a visually impaired user of a payment card requesting a payment transaction, the method comprising the steps of associating, during an enrolment process, the payment card to a user terminal, sending, responsive to entering the payment amount at a transaction terminal by the merchant, a notification message to the user terminal, the notification message having a content comprising at least the payment amount and, optionally, additional payment related information, converting, at the user terminal, the content of the notification message into audio data, presenting the audio data to the user, prompting, responsive to presenting the audio data to the user, payment confirmation or decline by the user, generating a respective response message, and processing, responsive to and depending on the content of the response message, the payment or generating an adjustment message to be displayed to the merchant.

Abstract: Techniques for detecting physical conditions at a physical premises from collection of sensor information from plural sensors execute one or more unsupervised learning models to continually analyze the collected sensor information to produce operational states of sensor information, produce sequences of state transitions, detect during the continual analysis of sensor data that one or more of the sequences of state transitions is a drift sequence, correlate determined drift state sequence to a stored determined condition at the premises, and generate an alert based on the determined condition. Various uses are described for these techniques.

Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods are provided for the usage of enhanced pictures (e.g., photos) of tangible objects (e.g., property, cars, etc.) damaged in an accident and answers to questions about the accident to better assess the effect of the damage (e.g., repair expenses and accompanying changes to an insurance policy). A pre-FNOL system may receive responses to one or more questions regarding an accident and one or more enhanced pictures of the tangible property damaged in the accident. The pre-FNOL system may use the responses to the one or more questions and the one or more enhanced pictures to determine repair costs associated with the damaged property and accompanying changes to the insurance policy if an insurance claim were to be filed to cover the determined repairs costs.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to making payments with a mobile device. In one example process, the mobile device receives and stores information for one or more payment accounts on the mobile device. The mobile device is used to make payments using the payment accounts. In some examples, authorization to proceed with a payment is performed before each purchase made by the user. The authorization process can include receiving a verification of the user, such as a fingerprint scan or passcode. In some examples, a payment account is selected from among available payment accounts. In some examples, an indication is displayed of a digital item associated with a purchased item. In some examples, a payment transaction is initiated with participants of an ongoing communication. In some examples, an application of a retailer is invoked based on the availability of the application. In some examples, a purchase recommendation is provided.

Abstract: Implementations of the present disclosure include receiving transaction data for a transaction that is to be executed between a first user and a second user by a computer-implemented P2P payment system, the transaction data including negotiable instrument data provided from a physical negotiable instrument that is provided by the second user and that is to be used in the transaction, the first user being a user of the P2P payment system, and the second user being a non-user of the P2P payment system, processing, the transaction data to execute the transaction, and transmitting a notification to at least one of the first user and the second user, the notification providing information regarding the transaction.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products are provided for directing cash flows associated with a mortgage-backed security to back other securities without collapsing the original mortgage-backed security. A mortgage-backed security/an/or a set of loans is analyzed to identify cash flows from mortgages having specific desirable characteristics, and the cash flows are directed to subgroups or pools that support new mortgage-backed securities. The new securities make the desirable cash flows available to an issuer or prospective investor without collapsing the original mortgage-backed security.

Abstract: Disclosed embodiments include computer-implemented methods and systems that permit a market participant to automatically scale a block order into relatively smaller, incrementally priced scale trade component orders based on scale order parameters (such as price and size) provided by the market participant. The scale orders may continue automatically, without the need for further intervention from the market participant, until the total number of shares specified by the market participant is accumulated or sold. Some embodiments also permit the marker participant to automatically submit opposite-side profit-taking component orders against the market participant's original scale order components. The profit-taking orders can be automatically created and submitted when the original scale order component has executed.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable storage media for generation of a vehicle repair plan. Implementations include actions of receiving vehicle damage data including an image of a damaged vehicle. The vehicle damage data is processed to determine a damaged area and a damage type of a portion of the damaged vehicle. A repair plan is generated for the damaged vehicle based on the damaged area and the damage type. The repair plan is initiated for the damaged vehicle.

Abstract: A decision support system initially determines in response to the creation of a customer ticket a customer's driving style in accordance with user responses and input regarding driving habits and preferences, and calculates a driving style algorithm. The system compares the driving style algorithm to car tire profiles and determines which tires are best suited to the customer's driving style algorithm. Upon said determination, the selected car tires are presented to the customer for final selection in a comprehensive service platform environment for creating, forwarding, performing, and completing customer tickets amongst front end devices comprising a computer kiosk and a customer's mobile device, and a back end device comprising an employee's mobile device. Tickets created via a front end device are forwarded for performance to the back end device, wherein upon completion of service the ticket is finalized and forwarded back to a front end device for review and payment.

One example method of operation may include measuring energy metrics associated with network devices operating on a network via meter devices, identifying potential changes to existing energy usage of the network based on the energy metrics, logging the energy metrics and the potential changes as part of a distributed ledger, and storing the distributed ledger in a blockchain block.

Abstract: A computer implemented method and system for providing financial services are described. The system and method include determining an account balance for a financial account. If the account balance is negative, notice of the negative balance is sent to the account holder in real time. After a predetermined period of time or grace period, and/or by a predetermined end time or cut-off date or time, it is determined whether the negative balance was cured. If the negative balance was not cured during the grace period, an overdraft fee is assessed to the financial account. If the negative balance was cured during the grace period, any assessed overdraft fee for the negative balance is rebated or reversed.

Abstract: A computer system is provided that includes a paired list of data transaction requests on which a matching process is performed. There are multiple different types of data transaction requests that are stored in the paired list including data transaction requests with midpoint attributes and data transaction requests with discretion attributes. The computer system may determine how the multiple different types of data transaction requests may be match against each other. Two matching processes can be used to determine if a match exists between the first and second sides of the paired list. Matches that are determined at private values are not disseminated to third-parties via public market data feeds.

Abstract: A system and method for defining and processing timed orders are defined. According to one embodiment, a trader may define a timed order by defining an intra-day time trigger or a time period when the timed order should be automatically modified, such as deleted or cancelled/replaced with a new order. In one embodiment, the intra-day time trigger or time period may be dynamically changed to a later time, for example, upon receiving a predetermined user input. Also, the time trigger and time period may be configured to dynamically vary based on any user configurable formula. Also, the timed order may be associated with one or more actions to be taken once the order is deleted, such as sending a new order, for example.

Abstract: A system including a computing device may receive base map information, including attribute information associated with a plurality of road segments, and trip request information. Based on this information, a route for the user to travel may be determined. The system might further calculate a risk score for each road segment forming the route, and generate a risk map based on the risk score and the route. The risk map may then be displayed to a user. The risk map may include markers or other objects depicting potential risks along the route the driver may face. Also, the risk map may be updated based on information collected from a sensor coupled to the vehicle or located at the road segment to reflect actual, real-time risk scores calculated using an equation for providing a risk score for a particular driver driving a particular vehicle on a particular road segment.
