  • Patent number: 11023903
Abstract: The invention relates to a system and method for analysing an activity session. Data from a monitoring device worn by a user of the system for example is received over a period of time or distance and a classification system of the invention is utilised in real time or post session to determine the activities performed by the user during the session. The data collected relates to multiple parameters monitored during the activity session. The classification system defines an activity using a set of threshold criteria for a combination of parameters and therefore identifies a particular activity performed during the activity session when a combination of monitored parameters satisfies the threshold criteria for a particular activity. Determining the activities performed in this way allows for more useful interpretation of the data which in turn leads to more effective coaching advice and feedback for the user.

  • Patent number: 11017634
Abstract: The present invention is to determine whether a game result of a slot machine satisfies a specified condition by using a control unit, the specified condition is defined as any one of the plurality of game symbols in the game result replaced so that the reward condition is satisfied, and one of the game symbols replaced to be located at a replacement position; when the control unit determines that the game result satisfies the specified condition, the control unit activates a three-dimensional re-spinning component to generate a replacement game symbol. The replacement game symbol is used to replace the game symbol at the replacement position and update the game result, thereby the control unit re-determines whether the updated game result meets the reward condition, and after the reward condition is met, performs a reward program by using a reward unit.

  • Patent number: 10905956
Abstract: In some embodiments, a detecting endpoint system accessing a shared virtual environment detects a collision between a target avatar and an object within the shared virtual environment. The detecting endpoint system transmits a location change notification for a head of the target avatar. An observer endpoint system moves the head of the target avatar based on the location change notification. A target endpoint system associated with the target avatar does not move its viewpoint based on the location change notification. In some embodiments, this decoupling of viewpoint from the avatar allows for a more immersive experience for all users.
