Abstract: A controller for an electric servo press includes: a press load sensor for detecting a pressure force of the slide; a pressure-force determination device for determining whether the pressure force of the slide reaches one or a plurality of different pressure-force setting values based on the one or the plurality of different pressure-force setting values and an output signal of the press load sensor, and for generating a pressure-force achievement signal each time the pressure force of the slide reaches each of the one or the plurality of different pressure-force setting values; a servo motor drive controller for controlling driving of the servo motor; and a motion command device. In response to the pressure-force achievement signal, switching of a drive control mode by the servo motor drive controller is switched, and/or a motion to be commanded by the motion command device is switched.

  • Patent number: 8707750
Abstract: The invention relates to such a method and apparatus, as well as to the resulting deformed object out of a relatively hard material such as e.g. a metal or plastic wire in which an undeformed section (2) is clamped near its ends (3, 4) and is subsequently upset in a controlled way by an axial pressure force (22) to a predefined shortened and thickened longitudinal section (5), with which simultaneously over substantially the entire contour sheath (19) of this section (2) a counterforce (29) is exerted so that, with the progressive deformation during upsetting, the total volume of the longitudinal section that is deforming, remains substantially constant. In this thickened section (5) a flattened zone (8) can subsequently be applied in order to realise a final shape (10) such as an opening (26). The invention concerns in particular also the use of a deformation line (40) for manufacturing a heddle for weaving looms.

  • Patent number: 8646303
Abstract: A method for the manufacture of a profile having a cross-section of different thicknesses from a flat metal strip is provided. In this process, a roller pair produces at least one first recess on at least one side of the metal strip, the recess being widened by following roller pairs with incrementally enlarged recess width to form a region with a reduced material thickness. The aim of the invention is to improve the production process, in particular to avoid the formation of undulations during the production of the profile. For this purpose, the invention provides that regions of the flat metal strip which are arranged adjacent to the at least one recess are bent up before and/or during an engagement of a roller pair.

  • Patent number: 8646712
Abstract: Gyrator crusher has a crusher head on which a first crushing shell is mounted, a frame on which a second crushing shell is mounted, the first and second crushing shells forming a crushing aperture. Drive device rotates an eccentric causing the connected crusher head to perform gyratory movement for crushing. Dust seal seals a gap between the frame and a fastening portion situated close to the crusher head and includes a seal bellows and a seal slide ring. Seal slide ring connects sealingly to a lower portion of the seal bellows and has a lower slide surface adapted to slide along, and to sealingly abut, with a substantially vertical abutment pressure, against an upper slide surface on the frame. Upper portion of the seal bellows sealingly connects to the fastening portion so rotation of the crusher head rotates the seal slide ring about a substantially vertical axis of rotation.

  • Patent number: 8631742
Abstract: In a working method using a device for operating presses including a ram and a die, such as forming presses or cutting presses, for example multiple-die presses for large workpieces, transfer presses, multi-ram transfer presses, such forming presses or cutting presses also being arranged in press lines, smaller ram strokes result in optimized freedom of motion of the press, in place of the existing large freedom of motion, the acceleration and speed of the ram are at most maintained, or reduced, while parts output is increased, and smaller paths are made possible due to dynamic ram stroke and transfer movements. To this end, the work process of the ram stroke of presses is controlled according to a curve that follows the function f(x)=a(0)/2+a(1)*cos(1*x) +...+.

  • Patent number: 8584977
Abstract: A food waste processing apparatus is disclosed. In the food waste processing apparatus according to the embodiment of the present invention, after food waste is dehydrated by a centrifugal force within the upper drum part and the lower drum part which are rotated to be discharged, it is discharged to the outside of the housing by the rotation of the lower drum part. That is, since food waste is dehydrated, discharged, and drained by one part, manufacturing costs can be reduced. Further, since food waste is broken up, dehydrated, discharged, and drained by one motor, manufacturing costs can be reduced further. Furthermore, since the lower drum part is vertically moved by a relatively simple structure of a cam, a structure of the rotary shaft, and an inertial force, manufacturing costs can be reduced still further. Food waste is dehydrated and discharged by a centrifugal force and the food waste within the housing is discharged to the outside of the housing by the discharge blade installed in the drum.
