Abstract: A telescopically moveable support member has a work element connected to a first end thereof. A rail and slotted collar arrangement is associated with the support member and bumpers are connected to the work element to prevent damage to both the work element and vehicle to which connected during movement from the extended position to the retracted position.

Abstract: A combination foot member is disclosed to include two parts that are assembled by inserting the guide board of one part of the foot member into the bottom receiving chamber of the other part of the foot member to let the L-shaped stop member at one part of the foot member stopped at the stop flange at the other part of the foot member for enabling the guide board of one part of the foot member to be respectively engaged into the bottom receiving chamber of the other part of the foot member. In case an excessive force is applied to foot member when adjusting the pitch between the parts, the respective L-shaped stop members will be stopped at the corresponding stop flanges, preventing falling of the parts from each other accidentally.

Abstract: An overboot device is provided for increasing a foot print of a foot portion of a bi-pod firearm support. The overboot preferably comprises a base having a cone projecting therefrom and a cylinder axially extending from the cone. A plurality of fingers axially extend from the cylinder and include a tab radially projecting therefrom. The tabs form a ring which combines with an axially spaced apart annular flange radially projecting from the cone to define a recess therebetween. A removable band nests within the recess so as to constrict the fingers toward one another to reduce the diameter of the cylinder such that the overboot may be secured about the foot portion of the bi-pod assembly.

Abstract: The inventors present an improved rotatable multi-receptacle support device. These type devices are commonly used to house up to four circular receptacles that can be rotated about a center post affixed to the ground for the convenience of the user. The improvements made to this device by the inventors comprise improved receptacle containment by forming the receptacle housing into a basket-shaped cavity with a top ring and a plurality of adjustable chain segments hanging below. This basket shaped cavity of adjustable depth can accommodate a broader range of receptacle shapes and sizes and provides better lateral support in instances where rapid removal and replacement of receptacles is required as in home refuse collection. An additional improvement is provided by means of a second structural support overlay, in addition to the primary support armatures, which connects the outer rim of each top ring to the center post.

Abstract: An ergonomic reading stand for holding books, catalogs, etc. consists of a right and left support, a bracket, a pivoting shaft with knurled screws and a base. The slant of the book can be variably adjusted by releasing the knurled screws (on both ends of the pivoting shaft) and by displacing the shaft forwards or backwards, in relation to the base. Threaded pins for adjusting the sliding resistance that is generated when the pivoting shaft is displaced are provided on the underside of the pivoting shaft, below the right and left slide bearing. The bracket is used to hold down the book pages and can be adjusted to the thickness of the book by a displacement parallel to the lower bearing surface. The bracket can be pressed down to enable the pages to be turned rapidly. After the bracket has been released, it springs back into its original position.

Abstract: An overhead stowage bin 100 mounted to a ceiling in a cabin of an aircraft comprises a shelf 102 fixed to the ceiling and a door 110 that covers the opening of said shelf. The door 110 is supported by hinges 120, and a knob 130 is equipped thereto. One or more transparent windows 150 are provided to a portion of the door 110, through which users can visually observe the status of use of the interior of the bin. The windows are located so that cabin crews etc. standing in the aisle of the cabin can easily observe the interior of the bin, without negatively affecting the strength of the bin.

Abstract: A clip structure for supporting ornamental items on a pew support includes a mounting portion for gripping a portion of a pew support. The mounting portion has a pair of opposite inner and outer faces, a pair of side edges, and a pair of end edges. The mounting portion includes an elongate longitudinal extent having opposite end regions, a pair of transverse extents each extending from one of the end regions of the longitudinal extent in a generally transverse orientation to the longitudinal extent, a pair of return extents each extending from one of the transverse extents, with each of the return extents extending towards each other. The mounting portion includes a pair of free end extents each extending from one of the return extents. Optionally, the clip includes a securing portion mounting on the mounting portion for removably securing an ornamental item on the mounting portion.

Abstract: A bar of soap with retention device includes a bar of soap with an aperture bored through it extending from the top surface to the bottom surface or from a first side edge to a second side edge. An elastic member attaches the bar of soap to a handling means through the aperture. The handling means includes an opening for attachment to the elastic member. The handling means is typically form as a ring but may have a series of finger indents within the opening or formed as a rod or handle. The elastic member is attached to the handling means by passing it through the opening in the handling means, passing both ends through the aperture and around each side of the bar and over the handling means to rest about the center of the elastic member. The retention device may be added to an existing bar of soap.

Abstract: A system for mounting a laptop computer on a mobile casterized base, comprising: an articulated arm having a first end and a second end, the first end being adjustably connected to the mobile casterized base; and a bracket assembly adjustably connected to the second end of the articulated arm for securely retaining the laptop computer, the bracket assembly being adjustable in at least one dimension to securely retain the laptop computer.

Abstract: A support for an LCD monitor is composed of two seats, a pivoting member, a positioning member, and a leg. The seats are mounted on a back of the LCD monitor. The pivoting member is pivotally mounted between the seats. The positioning member is mounted on one of the seats. The leg is secured on the pivoting member. The leg can be pivoted to extend for supporting the LCD monitor or fold up for packing and storing.

Abstract: A front rail is formed by bending a steel sheet. The front rail has a front part having a hole, the hole allowing insertion of a dowel pin arranged on a printed circuit board, a top part mounting a guide rail for guiding the printed circuit board thereon, a rear part extending from the top part via a hem formed by folding back the steel sheet, for supporting a lower portion of the top part, and a bottom part extending from the rear part.

Abstract: An adjusting device comprising a foot member, a supporting member, and a moving member. The supporting member is fixed to the foot member, and the moving member includes at least a moving body, an elastic device and a button. The moving body includes two passageways, one of which is sized to receive the supporting member so that the moving body can move vertically and is coupled to the supporting member, and the other of which is sized to receive the elastic device so that the elasticity of the elastic device embeds in the passageway horizontally to clip to the supporting member so that the moving body is fixed to the supporting member. The button is movable horizontally or vertically and is buckled to the moving body, through which the user can impose a force horizontally or vertically to deform the elastic device, so that the elastic device can disengage from the supporting member for the adjustment.

Abstract: A sign stand assembly includes a sign panel, support base and an upright mast between the two. The support base defines a locking recess and a hollow leg is pivotally connected to a plate portion and extending from the support base. A locking pin and actuator are carried within the hollow leg with the actuator including an outward protruding tab. The actuator includes a clevis portion defining an opening to receive the locking pin in interlocking engagement therewith.

Abstract: A decorative and practical framed showcase for pendant medals comprising a slotted display panel positioned between a primary back panel and a transparent viewing pane. The showcase attractively displays pendant type awards. The display panel comprises a slot or series of slots arranged uniformly in rows. The ribbon portion of an award is inserted into a slot in the display panel, and is pulled through to the back of the panel. The medal and a part of the ribbon remain visible from the front of the display panel. Retainers attached to the rear surface of the display panel secure the excess length of ribbon out of view and hold the medal suspended in place on the front side of the display panel. The showcase further comprises an integral means for secure attachment and simple removal to and from a wall.

Abstract: A sign support comprises a rear portion (1) and a front portion (2) interconnected by a flexible hinge (3), and means for adjusting the inclination of the front portion (2) relative to the rear portion (1). An abutment element (12) is connected by a breakable connection (13) to one of said rear and front portions (1 and 2) and defines with the latter a trough (12) of which one free edge constitutes an abutment to define a first position, substantially vertical, of the front portion (2), said abutment element (12) being adapted to be removed by rupture of the breakable connection (13) to define a second position of the front portion (2) of downward inclination.

Abstract: A small, no-tools-required device, for example constructed of weather and UV resistant glass-filled nylon, that is inserted into the gaps between the deck boards of any conventionally constructed outdoor deck, then turned 90° like a key and released. Once tension is applied to the device through an attachment, for example using an elastic strap, a locking tab engages against the underside of the deck boards and the stabilizer tab at the opposite end of the device from the attachment prevents the device from twisting. The device can then be used to secure any items on the surface of the deck and prevent unexpected shifting or moving due to wind, weather, or any other unforeseen force. It is installed or removed in seconds and causes no damage to the deck itself.

Abstract: A portable fishing rod holder for use in securing a fishing rod to a vehicle or other ferrometallic surface by means of a generally rectangular elongated portion having a pair of downwardly extending legs in perpendicular relation thereto, each leg being provided with a magnet inserted therein in countersunk relation, whereby a fishing rod may be captured and held within the confines of the fishing rod holder when said fishing rod holder is employed in conjunction with a ferrometallic surface, the fishing rod being held in an upright position with its base resting on the ground or suspended from a guide eye, and the fishing rod holder being further provided with a protuberance having an opening therein through which a key ring or similar device may be threaded, said fishing rod holder being of sufficiently small size to be carried on a key ring, fisherman's vest, or in a pocket.

Abstract: A retainer clip includes a ratchet plate and a cooperating pawl for anchoring a sink to a countertop with a press-in, above-counter installation. The ratchet plate has a plurality of detents and is affixed to an edge of a cutout in the countertop. The pawl includes a spring element mountable to the sink and has at least one upwardly angled, resilient tab which successively engages the ratchet plate detents with a one-way action as the sink moves downwardly in the cutout. When the sink is fully inserted, the tab seats upwardly in a detent of the ratchet plate. In an embodiment, the pawl includes multiple tabs having slightly different lengths to provide an installation tolerance that is less than an incremental distance between ratchet plate detents.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a mounting device comprised of a base configured for attachment to a desired mounting surface and to secure a resilient connector extending away from a connector support. The resilient connector further comprising a flexible snubber and a spring surrounding the snubber. At least two alignment surfaces are provided, disposed around the resilient connector, where the alignment surfaces adjoining each other. The alignment surfaces may be disposed on an alignment loop, or a plurality thereof, disposed around the resilient connector.

Abstract: A window is made from similar panes of glass that have a space therebetween. Side edges of the panes are sealed. Top and bottom edges of the panes form a top slot and a bottom slot, respectively. The top slot is disposed within a top well that is connected through passageways to a pair of top air chambers that each have a heater therein. When an aqueous solution is in the top well and the top chambers are heated, the aqueous solution is forced through the top slot the space between the panes. The bottom slot is disposed within a bottom well that is connected through passageways to a pair of bottom air chambers that each have a heater therein. When the aqueous solution is in the bottom well and the bottom chambers are heated, the aqueous solution is forced through the bottom slot the space between the panes.
