Abstract: A system for use with a car wash is provided having wash equipment and a site module. The site module is configured to send and receive signals with the wash equipment. The system further has a gate and at least one sign comprising a graphical code. The at least one sign is provided in front of the gate, and the at least one graphical code is configured to be scanned by a customer device to indicate the location of the customer device. The system is configured to send and receive signals with an application on the customer device. The site module is also configured to receive the desired property of the wash, and the site module is configured to provide commands to the one or more wash equipment to initiate the wash based on the desired property of the wash.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is an augmented reality (AR) system that provides information about purchasing alternatives to a user who is about to purchase an item or product (e.g., a target product) in a physical retail location. In some variations, offers to purchase the product and/or an alternative product are provided by the merchant and/or competitors via the AR system. An offer negotiation server (ONS) aggregates offer data provided various external parties (EPs) and displays these offers to the user as the user is considering the purchase of a target product. In some variations, an AR system may be configured to facilitate the process of purchasing items at a retail location.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for augmenting a customer image with at least one virtual object. One or more customer images depicting a customer environment are received from a customer computing device and 3D feature data for the customer images is determined. A virtual object is determined which corresponds to a desired merchant item. A positioning signal is received which corresponds to a desired location of virtual object in the customer environment, and a corresponding first location in each customer image at which to overlay the virtual object using the positioning signal is determined. An appropriate size and orientation of the virtual object is determined for each customer image based on corresponding 3D feature data, causing an overlay of an appropriately sized and oriented virtual object at the corresponding first location in customer images.

Abstract: Success rate and usage monitoring for charging vehicles is provided. A charger request is received from a requesting device, the charger request requesting charger recommendations for a vehicle. One or more vehicle attributes are identified from the charger request. The charger recommendations are determined based on charger statistics computed based on charger histories that correspond to the one or more vehicle attributes, the charger histories being descriptive of vehicle charges performed to one or more vehicles by one or more charging stations and further including information descriptive of the one or more vehicles receiving the vehicle charges. The charger recommendations corresponding to the one or more vehicle attributes are sent to the requesting device, responsive to the request.

Abstract: Using augmented reality (AR) to display information regarding products and services that are comparable or related to a product or service that a user of the AR device is viewing or may consider purchasing. For example, in response to scanning a particular product, an AR device may display one or more products comparable or related to the scanned product. These products may be presented to the user as a digital visualization wall of products, wherein the digital visualization wall is dynamically rendered in real-time and viewable from the AR device.

Abstract: Various methods are provided for programmatically providing a platform for requesting on-demand services on a consumer device. One example method may comprise receiving a job request, the job request comprising job request parameters, the job request parameters comprising at least a type of service, a location, and a time frame, identifying one or more merchants able to provide the service in accordance with the job request parameters by determining a subset of the plurality of merchants able to provide the service, at the location, within the time frame, causing transmission of a job offer to at least a first merchant of the subset of one or more merchants identified as able to provide the service in accordance with the job request parameters, receiving at least one response, the at least one response from the first merchant from the one or more merchants, and assigning the job to the first merchant.

Abstract: A method, system and computer program for control and allocation of access rights with variable price are provided. The method provides a first offer for a section of a site, including information on the number of places available, a recommended price and a period in which the offer is valid; receives proposals with different prices in relation to the first offer; verifies that the received proposals are greater or equal to a minimum price and applies a criterion of allocation of places to the received proposals meeting this condition or closes the first offer; provides a second offer for said section, including information about the number of places remaining, a recommended price, the average closing price of the first offer and a period for which the offer is valid. Some steps can be repeated for the second offer and so on consecutively until the places are sold-out.

Abstract: Methods and systems are presented for enhancing a merchant product webpage by providing additional content associated with a product being displayed on the merchant product webpage. A product catalog stores product records corresponding to data associated with different products. As a webpage is accessed by a user device, data is extracted from the merchant product webpage. The extracted data is used to identify one or more product records in the product catalog that are potential matches to the webpage. When multiple product records are identified, a remote server is used to access and interact with the webpage separate from the user device. Additional data is extracted from the webpage based on interactions by the remote server with the webpage. The additional data is used to determine a single product record for the webpage. The webpage is modified based on the single product record.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for a commerce platform coordinating a purchase of a product sold by a merchant system through a third party application are described. The method may include receiving a notification from the third party application requesting to purchase a product from within the third party application, wherein the notification comprises an identifier for the product and an identifier for the merchant system that sells the product. The method may also include a product checkout interface having an appearance consistent with an appearance of a user interface of the third party application, and transmitting the product checkout interface generated by the commerce platform to a user device executing the third party application causing the third party application to render the product checkout interface within at least a portion of the user interface of the third party application.

Abstract: Systems and techniques may be used for identifying a product from a uniform resource locator (URL) of a website. A technique may include receiving the URL based on a user interaction with the website, the user interaction triggering an event on the website. In an example, the technique includes comparing the URL to a database of stored URLs. The technique may include determining a portion of the URL, comparing, for example using a regular expression, the portion of the URL to entries in a specified product name column of the database, and identifying a product in the specified product name column corresponding to the portion of the URL based on comparing the portion of the URL. The technique may include outputting an indication of the product.

Abstract: A method to display an illustration to conduct an expedited electronic transaction is provided. Consumer identification information identifying a consumer is received. The consumer identification information is stored in association with a web browser of a consumer's device. A customized illustration is displayed based on the received consumer identification information on the consumer's device. A request is received for the expedited electronic transaction by swiping the customized illustration across a portion of the display of the consumer's device. Transaction data sufficient to complete the electronic transaction is sent to the merchant based on the swipe of the customized illustration across display of the consumer's device.

The beacon message can be configured to cause an application on the mobile device to advance a transaction associated with the transaction information.

Abstract: An online concierge system uses a domain-adaptive suggestion module to score products that may be presented to a user as suggestions in response to a user's search query. The domain-adaptive suggestion module receives data that is relevant to scoring products as suggestions in response to a search query. The domain-adaptive suggestion module uses one or more domain-neutral representation models to generate a domain-neutral representation of the received data. The domain-neutral representation is a featurized representation of the received data that can be used by machine-learning models in the search domain or the suggestion domain. The domain-adaptive suggestion module then scores products by applying one or more machine-learning models to domain-neutral representations generated based on those products. By using domain-neutral representations, the domain-adaptive suggestion module can be trained based on training examples from a similar prediction task in a different domain.
