Abstract: Multivariate graphs specific to a company's performance, alone or in relation to a benchmark, and methods for producing same include defining on a display screen an origin having a first value, extending from the origin at least three axes on the display screen, the axes being generally equidistant from each other and representing a respective variable, plotting on the display screen a value of each variable concerning the company as a point on a respective axis, and using the plotted points to interpolate first segments between the axes on the display screen. Benchmark information, extrinsic to the company, can be obtained, processed into a rating in the same manner as the company data, and superimposed for ready visual comparison of the company's performance to the obtained benchmark. The benchmark information, if shown, is distinguished from the company's performance graph.

Abstract: A method of creating a customized life story comprising using specific pre-determined questions based upon intended purpose and customer demographic to prepare a manuscript and a video derivative product, manually or automatically by utilizing computer programs, applications, or software to automatically organize the recorded information into pre-determined end product formats. The end products are based on an interview and items from a subject. Additional information from other members of the family can be added to the end products without the subject's knowledge. Digital audio and video files stored on a storage device are often included with the manuscript.

Abstract: A method of maintaining a classified document labeling policy of an institution. One or more documents are received and document types are determined therefor. A determination is made as to whether the documents comply with the classified document labeling policy of the institution using one or more rules. The rules embody the classified document labeling policy of the institution in a computer interpretable form and are dependent upon document type. Corrective measures for ones of the documents determined to be non-compliant are taken.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, can aggregate content from one or more electronic publication documents. In one aspect, a method includes obtaining information including an index to content items of an electronic publication including a discrete package of received data that is stored locally, the content items being less than all content in the electronic publication received; retrieving, by a computer based on one or more criteria, two or more of the content items provided in disparate portions of the electronic publication, including the discrete package of received data, using the index; and presenting the two or more of the content items together on an output device in a user interface format different from that of the electronic publication.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method and system for determining a maintenance policy of a complex forming device. The method and system include: establishing a performance judgement standard; obtaining actual operation data; and determining a performance stage of the complex forming device, and determining the maintenance policy of the complex forming device. The establishing a performance judgement standard includes allocating data located at different performance stages to corresponding working condition units; setting data located at a normal performance stage to normal reference data, and calculating, by using a shortest path algorithm, distances between operation data of different working condition units in different functional modules and the normal reference data, to obtain performance statuses of the different functional modules.

Abstract: Changing a business process model involves several aspects: (1) given a set of change operations, dependencies and conflicts are encoded in dependency and conflict matrices; (2) given a change sequence for a process model M, the change sequence is broken up into subsequences such that operations from different subsequences are independent; (3) given a change sequence for a process model V1 and another change sequence for a process model V2, conflicts between operations in the different change sequences are determined; (4) the process structure tree can be used to localize dependency computations, yielding a more efficient approach to determining dependencies; and (5) the process structure tree can be used to localize conflict computations, yielding a more efficient approach to determining conflicts.

Abstract: Improved systems and methods of facilitating placement of candidates between employers and recruiters are provided. In various implementations, such systems and methods provide an integrated interface within the ATS platform for employers and integrated interface within the talent platforms for recruiters. In another implementation, a talent platform exchange is provided that permits disparate talent platforms to communicate and thus more effectively manage the hiring process from within the platform. To this end, interfaces and other components may be provided which facilitate communication between talent platforms and a talent platform exchange. Such communication capability would enable a direct hire marketplace where employers engage recruiters to fill positions through their presently implemented ATSs.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are disclosed for providing integrated management of a workflow for moving industry quotes. A processor can be configured to execute workflow management software to manage a plurality of moving industry quote workflows. Each moving industry quote workflow may correspond to a move transaction. The moving industry quote workflows may correspond to a plurality of workflow types, and each workflow type may comprise an associated plurality of interrelated tasks for different aspects of managing a moving industry quote workflow. Users can interact with a plurality of graphical user interfaces (GUIs) to perform the interrelated tasks.

Abstract: A system for electronic crime reduction is provided, comprising a computer system, a database, a malware de-compiler, a malware parser, and an inference engine. The database contains information that associates electronic crime attack signature data with at least one of an individual, a group, and a location. The malware de-compiler, when executed on the computer system, translates a first malware executable to an assembly language version. The first malware is associated with an electronic crime that has been committed. The malware parser, when executed on the computer system, analyzes the assembly language version to identify distinctive coding preferences used to develop the first malware. The inference engine, when executed on the computer system, analyzes the distinctive coding preferences identified by the malware parser application in combination with searching the database to identify one of an individual, a group, and a location associated with the electronic crime.

Abstract: Methods and systems for content aggregation and distribution are described. Video content may be received from a plurality of sources. The video content may be associated with metadata identifying items included within the video content. A video player may be provided which enables video content to be displayed on a user terminal, and a control may be provided enabling the user to quickly navigate to specific portions of the video content. The video player may be embeddable. Tags associated with a given item of video content may be stored and accessed remotely from the system hosting the item of video content.

Abstract: A quitting-intention estimating system facilitates detecting an entity's intention to quit an organization. During operation, the system obtains recent electronic-communication information associated with the entity under investigation, such as an employee of a corporation, or a volunteer of a non-profit organization. The system can determine the entity's quitting intention by determining a plurality of recent communication features from the electronic-communication information, for example, by using a variety of feature-extracting modules that extract the features from the entity's electronic communications. The system then computes a quitting-intention value for the entity under investigation, using a quitting-intention estimating function that takes the recent communication features as input.

Abstract: There is provided a system for providing interactivity to a guest of an experiential venue, based on sensor measurement of the guest. The system comprises a sensor configured to sense a guest variable of the guest, where the sensor may be a biometric sensor, a facial recognition sensor, a voice stress analysis sensor, a gesture recognition sensor, a motion tracking sensor, or an eye tracking sensor, and may sense heart rate or another guest variable. The system also comprises a control system, which may be implemented as a computer, in communication with the sensor. The control system is configured to determine a guest state from the guest variable, and to modify a venue variable, for example by selecting a path a theme park ride follows. The control system modifies the venue variable according to the guest state to provide increased satisfaction to the guest of the experiential venue.

Abstract: The present invention is a method and apparatus for the dynamic and customizable display of information pertaining to a work-flow management and document generation system. More particularly the invention utilizes a data driven interface, where at least one table within a database associated with the system is used to generate the customizable interface and dynamic display of information therein. The interface is preferably a browser-based interface where the code for creation of the interface is generated, at least partially, as a function of the information stored within the table. Such a system may be employed, for example, for the display of information relating to the automated processing of a transaction, including a real estate closing process.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and media are disclosed for providing career motivation, career inspiration and career guidance to a user through one or more journeys. Metrics concerning attention and fact retention of the user after having been presented with one or more career videos on a user device and after the user having responded to career- and skill-specific situational learning exercises and questioning may be recorded in a student record. A career code, such as a Holland Code, may be determined for the user using the responses provided by the user during a career tendency assessment. Metrics of the user's selection of one or more careers may be recorded in the student record. Mentor interaction may be provided for the selected one or more careers and results of the mentor interaction may be stored in the student record. One or more virtual field trips may be provided to the user and results of the one or more virtual field trips may be stored in the student record.

Abstract: According to some embodiments, it may be detected that a deployment archive to be deployed to a runtime server includes first and second business process artifacts, wherein the first artifact supports versioning and the second artifact does not support versioning. A version identifier to be associated with the second artifact may then be calculated, and at least one prior version identifier of the second artifact, associated with at least one prior deployment of the deployment archive to the runtime server, may be determined based on information from a version history database. The deployment archive containing the first and second artifacts may then be deployed to the runtime server along with the prior versions of the second artifact associated with the determined prior version identifiers. A new version history may then be stored in the version history database by adding the newly calculated version identifier to the at least one determined prior version identifier.

Abstract: A method for providing an estimate for a defined building control system comprises displaying on a user interface a plurality of areas in which the defined building control system would be installed. Pluralities of subsystems are associated with the plurality of areas and include at least one typical subsystem that is associated with a defined plurality of building automation components in a database. The method further comprises displaying on the user interface the typical subsystem in association with the plurality of areas. A number of instances of the typical subsystem that are associated with the plurality of areas are also displayed on the user interface. A cost estimate is generated for the defined building control system based at least in part on the number of instances of the typical subsystem.
