  • Patent number: 10887451
Abstract: A method and system provide a backup push-to-talk (PTT) function for a transmitter in a stuck microphone condition. The method determines whether a stuck microphone condition exists in the transmitter, and if the stuck microphone condition exists, the method alerts a user that the stuck microphone condition exists. The method then enables a backup PTT interface for the transmitter such that a backup PTT button is available to the user to activate the backup PTT function. The method alerts the user when the backup PTT function is activated, and sends a message to a receiver after the backup PTT button is engaged by the user.

  • Patent number: 10880909
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the mobile communications field, and in particular, to a transmission resource determining technology in a wireless communications system. In a data transmission method, a network device determines a transmission resource used for data transmission, and performs data transmission with a terminal device on the determined transmission resource. A time domain resource occupied by the transmission resource in a time domain is one of N types of time domain resources, and a time length of any type of time domain resource in the N types of time domain resources is less than 1 ms. According to this method, a data transmission latency can be effectively reduced, thereby meeting a requirement for a low-latency service.

  • Patent number: 10834002
Abstract: A method includes examining a first data packet transmitted to a first network equipment from a second network equipment. A data flow type of the first data packet is determined. If the data flow type is determined to be the first type of data flow, determining a delivery throughput of the first data packet to the first network equipment over a data flow path. The determined delivery performance of the first data packet is compared to an expected peak data throughput capacity for a data packet transmitted to the first network equipment from the second network equipment. Transmission of data packets to the first network equipment is paced if the comparison of the determined delivery performance and the expected peak data throughput capacity indicates a congestion exists over the data flow path.

  • Patent number: 10819627
Abstract: A method and device for realizing automatic stacking of network devices are disclosed. According to an example of the method, when a network device determines its device role, the network device may send a first neighbor discovery message to a neighbor device and receive a second neighbor discovery message sent by the neighbor device. Next, if it determines that a topological structure between the network device and the neighbor device changes according to the second neighbor discovery message, the network device may determine whether a stacking condition to trigger stacking the network device and the neighbor device is satisfied or not. If the stacking condition is satisfied, the network device may further determine a stacking configuration for stacking the network device and the neighbor device. Then the network device may stack the network device with the neighbor device according to the stacking configuration.

  • Patent number: 10798735
Abstract: Solutions to problems from delays in channel acquisition by UEs in a contention-based shared radio frequency spectrum band are disclosed. For example, if an eNB knows of a recent or ongoing downlink transmission on a frequency to be used for uplink transmission by a UE, then the eNB may instruct the UE to either skip performance of LBT on that frequency or else perform a type of LBT that is shorter in duration than a full CCA. One way for the eNB to instruct the UE in this fashion is to set an indicator in an uplink grant transmitted to the UE on another frequency. Additionally, in order to avoid truncation of an uplink transmission opportunity, an eNB may notify a UE that an uplink grant is valid for more than one starting point.

  • Patent number: 10772092
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are described for hierarchical communications and low latency support within a wireless communications system. An eNB and/or a UE may be configured to operate within the wireless communications system which is at least partially defined through a first layer with first layer transmissions having a first subframe type and a second layer with second layer transmissions having a second subframe type. The first subframe type may have a first round trip time (RTT) between transmission and acknowledgment of receipt of the transmission, and the second layer may have a second RTT that is less than the first RTT. Subframes of the first subframe type may be multiplexed with subframes of the second subframe type, such as through time division multiplexing. In some examples symbols of different duration may be multiplexed such that they different symbol durations coexist.
