  • Patent number: 10234246
Abstract: A rear cover of a dartboard and a noise attenuation structure thereof includes: a rear cover, a shock and sound attenuation pad and a scoring board. The rear cover includes a plurality of reinforced ribs with a zigzag shape, every two reinforced ribs defines a resonant space. The shock and sound absorbing pad is provided with a plurality of grooves, every two said grooves define a stuffing portion, the reinforced ribs are disposed in the grooves, and the stuffing portions are stuffed in the resonant spaces, so as to reduce the resonant box. The zigzag reinforced ribs make it difficult for the resonance to be produced in the resonant spaces, and the stuffing portions stuffed in the resonant spaces further prevent the occurrence of resonance.

  • Patent number: 8011665
Abstract: A target apparatus adapted to receive projectiles such as bottle caps tossed or otherwise launched towards the target. Three vertically aligned catch structures are disposed to receive and retain the bottle caps. The three catch structures have different sizes resulting in different degrees of difficulty in projecting a bottle cap into the respective structures. The lowest catch structure is the largest, the middle catch structure being the smallest, and the uppermost catch structure being sized between the lower and the middle structures. Chains completely surround the middle and upper catch structures. Chains only surround the sides and rear of the lowest catch structure. An opening in the front of the lowest catch structure is adapted to receive a projectile therein that is routed to a special basket. A scoring system is provided that awards points depending upon which of the catch structures retains a bottle cap.

  • Patent number: 8002649
Abstract: A blocking sled includes a first main blocking pad reciprocable on a frame between extended and retracted positions. When a lineman hits the main blocking pad, it is moved to the position of retraction and when the lineman releases the pad, it extends back to its original un-retracted position. In association with each main blocking pad, an auxiliary pad is provided that in one position closely overlies and extends forward of the main blocking pad in its extended position. The auxiliary blocking pad is pivotably mounted to the frame and is latched in the position closely overlying and extending forward of the main blocking pad. An actuator facilitates release of a latching mechanism for the auxiliary pad and moves along with a support rod for the main blocking pad. When the rod is reciprocated, eventually it engages the latch of the auxiliary pad and releases that latch causing a biasing means to pivot the auxiliary pad up and forward with respect to its position when latched.

  • Patent number: 7992874
Abstract: A dart game simulates an automobile race, such as NASCAR or INDYCAR. The players throw darts at a target board and follow instructions in areas of the target board according to where the dart landed. Each of the players has a game piece that is located on a scoreboard that is shaped to simulate a race track and is divided into a plurality of steps. The target board is also divided into a pit area. Each game piece is moved in accordance with the instructions found on the target board. A player can move in the track area only if his game piece is permitted on the track. A game piece is removed from the track if the player strikes an area on the target board that contains instructions which require the game piece to be moved into the pit. The player can only exit the pit if he has struck an area that has instructions that permit him to move out of the pits. The game continues until one player has completed a preset number of laps and crosses a start/finish line first.
