    Abstract: According to one aspect, an interventional medical device includes a first wire disposed at a distal end and made of an alloy containing Ti and a transition metal other than Ti and Cr, and a second wire disposed at a proximal end of the first wire and made of an alloy containing Cr and a transition metal other than Cr and Ti. The device may include the first wire and the second wire being brazed to each other by a brazing material. The brazing material contains a metal whose ionization tendency is more basic than Ti and Cr. The brazing material is preferably an Ag—Mg alloy or an Ni—Mg alloy, and preferably has a composition near the eutectic point.

In order to achieve the object, a copper foil with physically releasable carrier sheet having a copper foil layer on the surface of the carrier sheet through a bonding interface layer, characterized in that the bonding interface layer is composed of a metal layer and a carbon layer. It is preferable for the bonding interface layer to be composed of a metal layer of 1 nm to 50 nm thick and a carbon layer of 1 nm to 20 nm thick.

The surface-treated copper foil may be further coated with a very thin primer resin layer having a thickness of 0.5 to 5 ?m.

The method includes the steps of forming a welding electrode from the above alloy composition and melting the electrode to form a weld deposit. A preferred weldment may be in the form of a tubesheet of a nuclear reactor.

The phosphoric acid-based chemical conversion coating of the tin-plated steel sheet can suppress degradation in performance, which is caused by the growth of a tin oxide layer on the surface, instead of a conventional chromate coating.

This surface treatment technology of a copper foil is able to effectively prevent the circuit corrosion phenomenon in cases of laminating a copper foil on a resin base material and using a sulfuric acid hydrogen peroxide etching solution to perform soft etching to the circuit.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a cooling element, particularly for use in walls of furnaces that are subjected to high levels of thermal stress, and to a method for producing a cooling element. The cooling element is comprised of cast copper or of a low-alloyed copper alloy and is provided with coolant channels, which consist of tubes cast inside the copper or the copper alloy and which are placed inside the cooling element. In order to create a cooling element with an improved material bond on the contact surfaces between the cooling tube and the metal cast around it and thus with an increased heat transfer, the invention provides that the tubes of the coolant channels are provided with an electrolytic coating on the exterior thereof. The use of copper tubes has been shown to be particularly advantageous, and the coating of the tube exteriors thereof ensues in an electroplating bath.

    Abstract: A high-strength galvanized steel sheet is provided which has a tensile strength of a level of about 590 MPa and superior formability, including a coating with good appearance. The galvanized steel sheet includes a base steel and a galvanized coating layer formed over the surface of the base steel. The galvanized steel sheet has a chemical composition containing 0.005% to 0.12% of C, 0.7% to 2.7% of Si, 0.5% to 2.8% of Mn, 0.1% or less of P, 0.07% or less of S, 1.0% or less of Al, 0.008% or less of N, and the balance being Fe and inevitable impurities on a mass basis, and a microstructure constituted of at least 90% of ferrite and 2% to 10% of martensite on an area basis. The ferrite has a Vickers hardness of 120 or more on average, and an inclusion is precipitated from the grain boundary with a length of 50% or less relative to the entire length of the grain boundary in the surface layer of the base steel with a depth of 3 ?m from the interface between the coating layer and the base steel.
