Abstract: Systems, computer-readable media, methods, and apparatuses for interactive tools for dynamic evaluation of online content are described. One example method includes receiving, by a client device, a selection of first content from a first content provider, the first content obtained using a first uniform resource identifier (“URI”); in response to receiving, by the client device, a request to access evaluation information associated with the first URI, transmitting a request to access the evaluation information to a second content provider using a second URI; receiving, by the client device from the second content provider, second content associated with the first URI, the second content having the evaluation information; generating, by the client device, annotations for the first content using the evaluation information; and displaying the first content and the annotations, the annotations displayed within the first content.

Abstract: A method for sharing surveillance video and receiving payment therefor utilizing a video sharing operator/manager is provided including providing access to video segments created by video surveillance camera systems tagged with capture information, providing a connection from each of the camera systems to the video sharing operator/manager and registering sellers of video. The method continues with receiving uploaded capture information on a searchable database from the camera systems and registering buyers. The method continues with receiving a search request from a buyer based on a specific set of capture information and receiving an uploaded requested video segment in response to the search request. The seller receives payment for the video segment from the buyer and, the video segment is downloaded to the buyer.

Abstract: A system and method for providing recommendations to at least one user is disclosed. A user profile for the user is obtained. Data is identified in the user indicative of interests of the users. This is stored in a profile store. Activity profiles and profiles of reviewers of the activity are created. A match between the author profiles, the user profiles and the activity profiles are identified. From these matches a list of activities is generated and presented to the user to select an activity to engage in.

Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a reliable supplier evaluation system for correctly evaluating suppliers. A supplier evaluation system 117 according to the present invention is a system for evaluating suppliers based on information relating to a transaction conducted between a buyer and the supplier. The supplier evaluation system 117 is provided with a reception function for receiving communication information 134 and e-commerce information conducted between a buyer and a supplier and that exists in a company system such as that of a buyer, a conversion function for converting the communication information and the e-commerce information into a predetermined format, a database 133 for storing keyword information, and an analysis function 127 for comparing keyword information 138 registered in advance in a storage device with the converted communication information and e-commerce information, and determining a cause of a transaction result of the e-commerce information.

Abstract: An on-line venue in which buyers can anonymously communicate precisely what product or service they want to purchase by posting an interactive request that a number of sellers/service providers can then directly respond to according to one embodiment of the invention. Such embodiments may promote the buyers interests in directly matching their needs with qualified vendors. In contrast to what others provide, where the buyer has to search within each seller/service providers and then send their request. Embodiments of the present invention broadcast a buyer's needs to relevant/selected sellers/service providers. Such embodiments may take the burden from a buyer in finding the right products and services by self-qualifying the lead to proactive prospective sellers/service providers.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes accessing one or more order parameters associated with a first user, the order parameters including one or more user-specified parameters. The method includes determining a user preference vector for the first user. The method includes accessing references to catalog items offered by one or more vendors. Each reference is associated with one or more metadata items provided by the respective vendor. The method includes providing a first reference to a client system of the first user based on at least a comparison of the one or more order parameters, the user preference vector, and the one or more metadata items corresponding to the first reference.

Abstract: A streamlined buyback solution may pre-calculate user data and pre-assess a user inventory, and then may present a buyback offer to a user based on user activity. A user trust assessment may determine the trust score for the user. The buyback assessment may identify items in the user inventory and determine assessed values and opportunity criteria for the items based on data from cost analysis and/or data from user behavior analysis. The opportunity criteria may be based on a model that is trained to analyze user patterns using a learning model. Based on the trust score, assessed values, and opportunity criteria, the user may be presented with a streamlined buyback offer allowing the user to apply the buyback offer value to discount a primary purchase order in a seamless transaction.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for a commerce platform providing proof of application ownership of a network distributable application are described. The method may include receiving a request to approve an application developed by a merchant system, wherein the application includes an application programming interface (API) component, a software development kit (SDK) component, or a combination thereof provided by the commerce platform to the merchant system. The method may also include generating a unique identifier (ID) for the application to be included as metadata within the application. Furthermore, the method may include obtaining, from an application information system, data describing the application, and extracting an ID from metadata in the data obtained by the application information system.

Abstract: A method of a buyer and a seller information network sharing service is provided. The method includes providing information from a seller of at least one product to a potential buyer. The buyer is able to request a meeting to inspect the product, either a car, home, or consumer product. The seller upon accepting a meeting request, has an application on a mobile device that will access real-time location data for display on the seller mobile device to provide an estimated time of arrival of the buyer, to the seller location.

Abstract: Product recommendations are selected according to a model. Product recommendations may be annotated with rules of the model used to select the products. A user may modify the model and be provided with a URL and a cookie associated with the modified model. Subsequent requests or the URL and presenting the cookie are processed using the modified model. A context may be associated with the cookie and modified by the user to observe performance of the model for the context. An interface may permit a user to specify rules for the model or otherwise model its behavior. User interactions with a website result in recommendations according to the model. A journey is recorded that records content, recommendations, and parameters of the model corresponding to the recommendations. The journeys of users may be filtered and visually presented to a user.

Abstract: A method, apparatus, and computer readable storage to implement a lending or cash advance system that can be (but is not required to be) integrated with an online commerce site. Sellers on the online commerce site can click a button or tab in their web browser that is visiting the online commerce site and information known to the online commerce site is automatically shared with a potential cash provider. The information can include sales data related to the seller's business on the online commerce site that can be applied to a formula used by a cash provider to evaluate the risk associated with lending the seller cash. A financial account used by the seller can rapidly receive the cash loan (if approved) and payments received by the seller from buyers would go into this financial account which is then used to automatically pay the cash provider back at agreed upon terms.

Abstract: An automotive service system and associated methods for facilitating communication between an automotive service shop and its customers are described. According to some aspects, the automotive service system may send a customer access to an inspection video including a demonstration in which one or more components of the customer's vehicle are shown and a recommendation for an automotive service involving the one or more components is given. In some embodiments, the automotive service system may include various modules that provide different functions to the customer, such as allowing a customer to: self-diagnose issues with the vehicle, book an appointment at an automotive repair shop, receive service recommendations and quotes, receive financing options, and/or receive appraisal options.

Abstract: In some embodiments, methods and systems are provided for facilitating submission of repair requests by carriers having to repair trailers to domicile facilities associated with the trailers. A central computing device provides a first graphical interface accessible by a computing device of a carrier having to repair a trailer in order to permit the carrier to submit a repair request indicating repair needed for the trailer. The central computing device then generates an invoice for the repair to the trailer directed to a domicile facility associated with the trailer. The central computing device also transmits an alert including the invoice to a computing device of the domicile facility associated with the trailer, receives a response from the computing device of the domicile facility associated with the trailer, and transmits a notification indicating whether the repair request has been approved by the domicile facility associated with the trailer.

Abstract: A system and method for filtering digital images stored on a blockchain database to locate one or more specific digital images from a corpus of digital images from an event includes receiving a search criteria from a user for searching through the corpus of digital images stored on the blockchain database, filtering the corpus of digital images stored on the blockchain database based on the plurality of factors that match the search criteria, locating the one or more specific digital photographs that match the search criteria among the corpus of digital images stored on the blockchain database, as a function of the filtering, presenting the one or more specific digital photographs to the user for selection and purchase of the one or more specific digital photographs, and processing a purchase order for the one or more specific digital photographs selected for purchase by the user.

Abstract: Gift givers typically find the process of selecting a personalized gift for a gift recipient to be time consuming with a low likelihood that the selected gift will be positively received by the recipient. The present disclosure describes analyzing a gift recipient's transaction history using machine learning techniques. Based on the analysis, one or more gift recommendations are provided to the gift giver. The one or more gift recommendations may comprise links to purchase products associated with the one or more gift recommendations. Additionally or alternatively, the one or more gift recommendations may comprise information about where the product may be purchased. This may improve the overall accuracy of the gift giving process, while reducing the stress surrounding gift giving. Additionally, the commercial opportunities of businesses may be expanded by partnering with sites that host the analysis.

A user may receive virtual currency, virtual goods (such as virtual items or enhancements within a game application), or other rewards for completing transactions using the unit in the host application. Units may be embedded in host content via hyperlinks included in the content or through an application programming interface of a host content provider.
