  • Patent number: 11731366
Abstract: A three-dimensional (3D) metal object manufacturing apparatus selects operational parameters for operation of the printer to form conductive metal traces on substrates with dimensions within appropriate tolerances and with sufficient conductive material to carry electrical currents without burning up or becoming too hot. The apparatus identifies the material of the substrate and the bulk metal being melted for ejection and uses this identification data to select the operational parameters. Thus, the apparatus can form conductive traces and circuits on a wide range of substrate materials including polymeric substrates, semiconductor materials, oxide layers on semiconductor materials, glass, and other crystalline materials.

  • Patent number: 11728648
Abstract: A solar system installed at a house or building, which may include solar panels and a solar inverter. When the solar system is installed at the house or building, the power load associated with the solar system might overload an electrical panel. This might force the owner of the house or building to spend thousands of dollars on an electrical panel upgrade. To avoid such an expensive upgrade, a smart load manager (SLM) is disclosed that can communicate with the solar inverter and can control it. The SLM can function as a real-time load shedding device, thereby avoiding the cost of a load center/panel upgrade, while enabling a safe and cost-effective solar system installation.

  • Patent number: 11718037
Abstract: Methods provide for fabricating objects through additive manufacturing in a manner that compensates for deformations introduced during post-print processing, such as sintering. An initial model may be divided into a plurality of segments, the initial model defining geometry of an object. For each of the segments, modified geometry may be calculated, where the modified geometry compensates for a predicted deformation. Print parameters can then be updated to incorporate the modified geometry, where the print parameters define geometry of the printed object (e.g., configuration settings of the printer, a tool path, an object model). The object may then be printed based on the updated print parameters.
