  • Patent number: 11637445
Abstract: A method for operating an electric island power network having a renewable energy generation plant, a conventional energy generation plant, an energy store, and an energy consumer, includes: defining first operating parameters for the network for when a frequency and/or voltage of the network is outside defined limits; operating the network using the first operating parameters causing the frequency and voltage of the network to both be within the defined limits; defining second operating parameters for the network after the expiration of a defined time span over which the frequency and voltage have remained within the defined limits, the second operating parameters being defined such that operating the network using the second operating parameters causes the network to operate cost-optimally. If verified that the second operating parameters ensure that the frequency and voltage remain within the defined limits, operation using the second operating parameters is maintained. Otherwise, it is discontinued.

  • Patent number: 11625018
Abstract: A distributed building management system includes a virtual controller and an edge controller for controlling a building control device using a distributed control logic that is distributed between the virtual controller and the edge controller. A programming tool displays a graphical representation of the distributed control logic and identifies which portions of the distributed control logic are considered critical and which portions of the distributed control logic are considered not critical to a fail-safe operation of the building control device should the edge controller stop receiving control commands from the virtual controller. The portions of the distributed control logic that are identified as being critical are assigned to the edge controller for execution and the portions of the distributed control logic that are not identified as being critical are assigned to the virtual controller for execution.

  • Patent number: 11609013
Abstract: An air-conditioning method suitable for reducing energy consumption is selected. A comparison unit 105 compares first operating efficiency, which is operating efficiency when only first air conditioning is performed, with second operating efficiency, which is operating efficiency when only second air conditioning is performed. The first air conditioning is air conditioning in an air-conditioning target space by an air conditioner, and the second air conditioning is air conditioning in the air-conditioning target space by supplying outdoor air without adjusting a temperature of the outdoor air to the air-conditioning target space. • Patent number: 11599083
Abstract: A sensor data input device obtains a plurality of sensor data sequences, each indicating time-series sensor values generated by measuring a work of a working subject using a sensor. A class data generator determines a plurality of intervals obtained by temporally dividing each sensor data sequence based on the sensor values, determines classes of the intervals, each class indicating a type of temporal variations in the sensor values included in one of the intervals, and generates a plurality of first class data sequences for each sensor data sequence, each first class data sequence indicating the intervals and the classes of the sensor data sequence. A class data linker associates the corresponding intervals having an identical class with each other, among the plurality of first class data sequences. A determiner calculates characteristic values of the intervals associated with each other.

  • Patent number: 11599685
Abstract: The hardware and software properties of a three-dimensional printer can be queried and applied to select suitable directly printable models for the printer, or to identify situations where a new machine-ready model must be generated. The properties may be any properties relevant to fabrication including, e.g., physical properties of the printer, printer firmware, user settings, hardware configurations, and so forth. A printer may respond to configuration queries with a dictionary of capabilities or properties, and this dictionary may be used to select suitable models, or determine when a new model must be created. Similarly, when a printable model is sent to the printer, metadata for the printable model may be compared to printer properties in the dictionary to ensure that the model can be fabricated by the printer.
