Abstract: A method includes identifying time values for a length of time to carry out process fluid delivery within multiple processing chambers that concurrently process multiple substrates; translating each time value to a recipe parameter for execution of an operation of a processing recipe; and causing the operation to be performed using each recipe parameter as a control value to control valves of a fluid panel of the multiple processing chambers. For each processing chamber of the multiple processing chambers, selectively controlling process fluid flow to the process chamber for a first period of time corresponding to a time value of the set of time values and to a divert foreline of the process chamber for a second period of time.

Abstract: A facility providing systems and methods for managing and optimizing energy consumption and/or production is provided. The facility provides techniques for optimizing energy-consuming and energy-producing systems to meet specified demands or goals in accordance with various constraints. The facility relies on models to generate an optimization for an energy system. In order to use generic models to simulate and optimize energy consumption for an energy system, the generic models are calibrated to properly represent or approximate conditions of the energy system during the optimization period. After the appropriate models have been calibrated for a given situation using one or more modeling parameter sets, the facility can simulate inputs and responses for the corresponding system. The facility uses the generated simulations to generate a plan or control schedule to be implemented by the energy system during the optimization period.

Abstract: In switching of a microgrid from an isolated operation to an interconnected operation with a power grid, a CEMS server determines a first master DER and slaves based on a master plan and performs master-slave control. When the first master DER goes down, the CEMS server compares remaining capacities of power-storage-type DERs included in a DER group. The CEMS server then determines a DER with the highest remaining capacity as a second master DER among the power-storage-type DERs included in the DER group and performs master-slave control.
Abstract: An HVAC controller is configured to automatically change between a HEAT mode and a COOL mode in accordance with a sensed temperature in the building structure, a HEAT temperature set point and a COOL temperature set point. The user is allowed to adjust the HEAT temperature set point and the COOL temperature set point, with the HVAC controller automatically adjusting one of the set points in response to the user making a change to the other of the other of the set points that violates a minimum deadband. If the user readjusts the user-adjusted set point in a way that no longer violates the minimum deadband, the HVAC controller will adjust the other set point back towards its previous setting.

Abstract: A building energy system includes HVAC equipment, green energy generation, a battery, and a predictive controller. The HVAC equipment provide heating or cooling for a building. The green energy generation collect green energy from a green energy source. The battery stores electric energy including at least a portion of the green energy provided by the green energy generation and grid energy purchased from an energy grid and discharges the stored electric energy for use in powering the HVAC equipment. The predictive controller generates a constraint that defines a total energy consumption of the HVAC equipment at each time step of an optimization period as a summation of multiple source-specific energy components and optimizes the predictive cost function subject to the constraint to determine values for each of the source-specific energy components at each time step of the optimization period.
Abstract: A system and method are described herein for tracking and instructing assembly of flexible modular products on a single assembly line. The systems enable methods for tracking components and procedures as well as tools used in the assembly of components using various sensors and devices along the line. The systems also enable methods for instructing and tracking usage of tools for procedures. Data from various sensors, stations, nodes, and relating to each particular assembly item are stored in a distributed ledger that is verified and secured for use as a production log including each action taken on the assembly item which may later be used for audit purposes as well as to increase confidence in the assembly of product variations on the assembly line.
Abstract: An air conditioner is provided. The air conditioner includes a heat exchange module, at least one humidity sensor, and a controller. The heat exchange module includes a compressor, a first heat exchanger, an expansion valve, a second heat exchanger, and an absorbent disposed on an outer surface of the first and second heat exchangers. The controller is configured to control to stop a normal operation and perform a drying operation for supplying air to any one of the first and second heat exchangers serving as an evaporator when it is determined that a predetermined drying operation condition is satisfied based on humidity information of air passed through the any one of the first and second heat exchangers serving as the evaporator, during the normal operation in which the any one of the first and second heat exchangers serves as an evaporator and the other serves as a condenser.
