Abstract: The present application relates to a container or toolbox having a selectively removable lid. When the user is in need of a stool or step stool, she may unfold a leg assembly and step assembly contained within the lid. When the leg assembly is unfolded into its support position, the lid operates as a stool. Moreover, a step assembly may also be unfolded from the lid. In its deployed position, the step assembly provides an intermediate step beneath the upper surface of the lid. When the job is finished, the leg assembly and step assembly may be folded back into the lid such that the container may be used as a regular toolbox.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a storage container for an expandable prosthetic heart valve that crimps the valve upon opening the container and removal of the valve from the container. The container includes a housing sized to receive the heart valve in its expanded configuration and a crimping mechanism. The crimping mechanism is incorporated into the container and engages the heart valve so as to operably convert the heart valve from its expanded configuration to its smaller crimped configuration upon opening the container and removing the valve.

Abstract: A debris collector that collects debris and prevents the debris from falling on the ground is disclosed. The debris collector includes a collector bin and at least one cling element. The collector bin collects debris and is collapsible for easy portability. The cling element clings the collector bin on a substantially flat surface underneath where an operation such as drilling is required to be performed such that debris, falling while drilling, drop into the collector bin and prevents debris from falling on the ground. The cling element is at least one layer of adhesive. The debris collector collects debris formed during various operations. The debris collector further includes a closure element for closing the debris collector after debris has been collected. Further included is a cleaning tool or debris collecting element that facilitates collecting debris that has fallen on the ground.

Abstract: A stackable tote and lid combination has a lid with a main body and a rim. The rim has a wall with corner bodies, where the wall is spaced apart from a major surface. Each corner body has an upper surface with three outer side surfaces. Each first outer side surface is attached to a respective second outer side surface and each second outer side surface is attached to a respective third outer side surface. Each first, second, and third outer side surface is positioned between and connected to the upper surface of the respective corner body and the major surface of the main body. As a result, each first, second, and third outer side surface of respective corner bodies is configured to abut a hollow body of the stackable tote at three respective internal contact areas, and to removably hold the stackable tote.

Abstract: A pack for cigarettes having an outer pack and an inner pack with a blank that surrounds a cigarette group, the inner pack having a removal opening for accessing the pack contents, and the inner pack having a closure flap fastened to it by a releasable adhesive bond and being removable for access to the removal opening or pack contents. For forming the removal opening, the blank has an opening that is closable by the closure means, the closure means having a coverage region that, with the closure means in the closed position, circumferentially surrounds the opening and is adhesively connectable to a region of the blank that surrounds the opening, and a separate blank is adhesively fastened on the closure means on the side facing the inner pack, the separate blank, with the closure means in the closed position, covering the opening and overlapping the opening on all sides.

Abstract: A child-resistant package comprising a tray and a sleeve. The tray is configured to be inserted into said sleeve. The tray comprises external protrusions and the sleeve comprises one or more internal protrusions and access holes. The internal protrusions are configured to engage with the external protrusions when the tray and the sleeve are in a closed position, such that the tray is substantially prevented from being taken out of the closed position without disengaging the external protrusions from the internal protrusions. Each of the access holes overlaps with an end of each of the external protrusions, such that a user may access and disengage the external protrusions from the one or more internal protrusions, such that the tray is no longer prevented from being taken out of the closed position.

Abstract: There is provided a pack for a product (12) to facilitate the dispensing of a liquid or particulate matter emanating from the product via a first openable portion (17). The pack comprises two films (13, 14) sealed together about a periphery to define a volume in which the product (12) is contained. The films at the openable portion (17) can be peeled apart in order to create an opening, but the size of the opening is limited by the provision of stronger connections (52) on either side of the openable portion.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a cover assemblies for use with containers such as large dumpsters or roll-off containers. The cover assembly generally includes a cover portion, a frame portion, and one or more mounting arms. The cover is coupled to the frame, and the frame is movable with respect to the mounting arm from a first position to a second position, wherein the first position comprises a closed position and wherein the second position comprises an open position.

Abstract: In an elongated, hollow stick handle for a cooking apparatus, the improvement comprising a heat shield in the form of a metal tab bent over an open end of the stick handle facing the cooking apparatus, for at least partly closing the open end of the stick handle to reduce heating of the stick handle.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a wafer storage container, more particularly, relates to a wafer storage container comprising a storage chamber forming an independent space separated from the wafer storage container, and a plurality of gas chambers communicating with the storage chamber, so that the gases are being supplied or exhausted through the area of the side surfaces of the storage chamber via the gas chambers in order to remove the fumes remaining on the surface of a wafer stored inside the wafer storage container efficiently.

Abstract: A shipping container, particularly suited for shipping wine bottles within a shipping box, having a pair of container halves. Each container half includes an outer tray that is shaped to fit the shipping box, and an inner tray that is configured for securely holding one or more wine bottles. Both the outer tray and inner tray are made of readily recyclable pulp material, and have a void therebetween. A starch based biodegradable insulation material fills the void therebetween, such that the shipping container is made entirely of biodegradable material, yet is sturdy and has insulative properties.

Abstract: A sleeve case is for a portable electronic device (e.g., laptop computer or electronic tablet device) and includes neoprene or fabric panels attached to an elastic polymer frame, such as ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA). The elastic polymer frame extends around a perimeter of the sleeve to provide cushioning or padding for side edges of the sleeve. A magnetic or other latching mechanism is used to secure an opening on one side of the sleeve.

The handle has a holding portion, a connecting portion, and a marking portion. The second region includes only the first layer and not the second layer. The first region also includes a first line of weakness disposed in the first layer that defines a flap, and a second line of weakness disposed in the second layer that defines an access opening disposed in the first region. The access opening is covered by the flap when the flap is in a closed position and at least partially uncovered when the flap is in an open position.

Abstract: An easy-open/reclosable vacuum skin package includes a bottom web, a product, and a top web; the bottom web includes a laminate having a shaped die-cut, and a label overlying the die-cut, and adhered to the laminate, such that when the label is peeled back, a portion of the laminate is peeled back, opening the package, and the package can be reclosed by returning the label to its original position on the laminate. A method of making an easy-open/reclosable vacuum skin package includes providing a bottom web; disposing a product on the bottom web; providing a thermoformable top web; and advancing the product through a VSP process to make a package in which the top web is in contact with and conformed to the product; the bottom web including a laminate having a die-cut, and a label overlying the die-cut, and adhered to the laminate.

Abstract: A tableware system is provided that includes a placemat with non-integrated tableware. The placemat includes a substantially planar bottom surface that forms a partial vacuum when provided in contact with an underlying surface and a first fastening mechanism provided at a top surface of the placemat. The tableware includes a second fastening mechanism that corresponds to the first fastening mechanism, the second fastening mechanism being detachably coupled to the first fastening mechanism. A lid is provided that secures to the tableware and includes another first fastening mechanism provided at a top surface thereof. A lock is provided that fixedly secures the first fastening mechanism and the second fastening mechanism. The lock may include a release mechanism that disengages the lock upon application of a force thereto. Alternatively, the lock may be removable by a separate tool that disengages the lock to allow the tableware and the placemat to be detached.
