Abstract: A cigarette pack in the form of a sealing pack consisting of an inner pack in the form of a foil block and an outer pack in the form of a hinge-lid box. An opening aid of the foil block is provided with a removal opening which is formed as an open recess as a result of punching during the production of a blank for the foil block, in particular in the region of a continuous foil web. Said removal opening, which is free right from the start, is closed by a closure tab which is able to be opened and closed multiple times on account of a corresponding glue connection. The closure tab is preferably connected permanently to the inside of a lid front wall of the outer pack by means of an actuating tab.

Abstract: A universal paint brush holder for paint buckets has a paint brush handle bracket extending perpendicularly from a slide fit speed clip which is removably attachable to the rim of an open paint bucket. The device accommodates paint brushes and paint buckets of a wide variety of sizes. The paint brush handle bracket has two arms that extend from a base outward and define a nook in which a paint brush handle is retained. The slide fit speed clip is formed from a front guide extending down from the front of the base and a back panel extending downward from the back of the base. The paint brush holder has no moving parts and is therefore durable, long-lasting and inexpensive to manufacture.

Abstract: A carrying case for a portable electronic device includes an adjustable viewing stand for supporting the electronic device at an angle selected by the user, the adjustable viewing stand comprising at least two panels hingably connected to one another and foldable so as to be able to reside inside the carrying case when the carrying case is closed.

Abstract: A sludge digester including a vessel and floating cover. The vessel includes a sidewall and an interior volume configured to receive and contain sludge. According to one embodiment, the cover comprises a frame structure that is constructed and arranged to form a skirt member formed at a periphery of the cover and extending downwardly into the vessel, and a continuous ballast ring attached to a lower portion of the skirt member and configured to form a trough member with an interior surface of the skirt member. The sludge digester may also include a guide system coupled to the sidewall and the skirt member and configured to allow vertical displacement of the cover with change in volume of at least one of a gas and a sludge contained in the vessel beneath the cover.

Abstract: An article of tableware has a container portion defining a well, and a base portion coupled to the container portion. The base portion includes a foot portion and a hinge portion. The hinge portion includes a first hinge line and a second hinge line, and the foot portion is coupled to the hinge portion at the first hinge line. The hinge portion is pivotable about the first and second hinge lines such that the foot portion is movable between an extended position and a retracted position to adjust a height of the tableware article.

Abstract: An equipment locking system. The system includes a base container forming a partial enclosure. The base container including a bottom wall, a set of sidewalls, a rotatable anti-intrusion lid, and a locking mechanism that form a partial enclosure. The partial enclosure is configured to enclose a piece of equipment. The partial enclosure is configured to prevent access to the piece of equipment when the rotatable anti-intrusion lid is closed. Portions of the piece of equipment may protrude from gaps in individual sidewalls of the set of sidewalls. The rotatable anti-intrusion lid can be coupled to a sidewall of the set of sidewalls and rotated about the sidewall. Portions of the rotatable anti-intrusion lid can be inserted in the locking mechanism. The locking mechanism may restrict rotation of the rotatable anti-intrusion lid when the rotatable anti-intrusion lid is in the closed position, and the locking mechanism is in a locked position.

Abstract: There is provided a pack (10) in the form of a stirrer for a hot or cold beverage. The stirrer comprises first and second films (13, 14) sealingly connected around a periphery to enclose a volume in which is disposed a liquid. The liquid is conveniently disposed in an elongate channel (15) formed in one of the films. Openable portions (17, 55) are provided at respective ends of the stirrer, one openable portion (17) allowing the liquid to flow out once opened and the other openable portion (55) acting as a vent. Each openable portion is opened by peeling apart the two films and has a stronger connection (52, 57) provided to limit the opening of the ends.

Abstract: A container cap with integrated straw includes a cap body which carries a drinking straw and is attachable to a beverage container. The container cap engages a neck of the beverage container in a watertight seal to prevent spillage of the beverage from the beverage container during use. A cap retainer can embrace the container cap for enhancing the watertight fitting of the container cap against the neck of the beverage container. The drinking straw can include a distal closed end that opens in the event of user aspiration on the straw. The distal closed end can be provided on the straw or on a disconnectable straw extension.

Abstract: A container apparatus includes a first container and a second container for receipt by the first container. A temporary seal is formed in part by each of the first container and the second container. The temporary seal maintains the second container in the first container. The second container is movable between a first position, in which the temporary seal is engaged, and a second position, in which the temporary seal is disengaged. A lid forms a sealing engagement with the second container to define a lifting mechanism.

Abstract: To guard against injury to persons engaging the trim edges of a hinged container, a protective flap extends from the lid on either end of the axial hinge. The flaps extend from the corners of the lid adjacent respective trim edges of the hinge. The flaps have a rounded bottom portion which is extended past the axial hinge line. The curved structure of the protective flaps helps to gently deflect objects, such as fingers, away from any sharply angled trim edges of the hinge, thereby guarding handlers from accidental injury.
