Abstract: Systems and methods for providing a cropped application window of an application window. The systems include a window cropping application that performs a method that allows a user to crop just the portion of an application window the user is interested in (e.g., play controls for a music app, chat window in a gaming app) and place it in an area of the display with enduring visibility or accessibility (e.g., widget dashboard, desktop). The present technology may also be used for web pages (e.g., tutorial articles, reference images), document pages (e.g., reference pages), applications (e.g., calculators), and other scenarios. For example, the present technology described herein improves multi-window scenarios, particularly on small screen devices where screen space is further limited. The present technology makes it easier for users to work across different windows and applications and improve the ease of composing each window.

Abstract: The case is directed to portable or client devices that are adapted to instantiate a client application that is communicably coupled to one or more remote host services. The client application is also adapted to cause a display of a graphical user interface having various regions. A first interface region of the graphical user interface may be associated with a first microfunction installed on the device and a second region may be associated with a second microfunction installed on the device. The various microfunctions may enable the client application to interface with one or more remote host services and may be shared across different client applications. In some cases, multiple microfunctions are used to define a custom, user-defined integrated application.

Abstract: The disclosed technology generally relates to an application programming interface (API) and user interface (UI) that can translate user communication into an interactive message that is displayed on the UI. In at least one embodiment, a mobile application uses a sentence builder to translate data structures into an interactive message (e.g., an editable sentence). A UI can display the interactive message in a first portion (e.g., “upper portion”) of a UI, and display user selectable objects for adding information to the interactive message in a second portion (e.g., “lower portion”). For example, as a customer makes choices for a food order, ingredients as emojis can appear and disappear in sentence form from a UI based on customer preferences and inputs.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for customizing user interface controls around a cursor. One example method includes receiving, at a computing device, a request to display an indicator menu and identifying at least one user interface element of a program being executed at the computing device. An interaction frequency for each identified user interface element is generated. In response to the request and for each identified user interface element, a spatial relationship between an indicator of the computing device and the identified user interface element is determined. Based on the interaction frequency value and the determined spatial relationship, an element set comprising one or more of the identified user interface elements is generated. The indicator menu comprising at least a portion of the element set is generated for display. The indicator menu is displayed proximate the indicator on a display of the computing device.

A plurality of target storage location usage patterns are determined. The user interface is modified based on the predicted target storage location.

The system is configured to receive metadata from an interactive graphical user interface (GUI) of a user device, aggregate field values from the data stored on one or more databases based on the received metadata and generate filter instructions based on the received metadata. The system is further configured to transmit the aggregated field values and the filter instructions to the user device, receive a user-customized filter set and subscription request for a synthetic symbol associated with the user-customized filter set from the user device, and create the synthetic symbol responsive to the subscription request. Moreover, the system aggregates one or more data values from the data stored on the databases associated with the created synthetic symbol and generates instructions to display the data values on the interactive GUI in accordance with the user-customized filter set associated with the created synthetic symbol.

The client device can receive user input including a first set of form values for the set of form fields from a first entity via the GUI. The client device can compare the second form values to the first form values to identify a mismatch between the first set of form values and the second set of form values. Abstract: Orthodontic aligners can be used to help shape a patient's teeth, jaw, and gums. Aligners are designed to move teeth into a desired position. Prior to the treatment, a dental professional will prepare a treatment plan (e.g., a set of aligners, etc.) Each aligner in the set may perform a different action on different subsets of teeth. Many dental professionals use animation software to show the patient an animation/video of the changes that are going to occur to the patient's teeth/jaw over time as a result of the treatment plan. While the animation may visually depict how the teeth and mouth are going to change, it does not tell the patient what is being performed (i.e., the actions that are being taken to move the teeth). As a result, the patient often has a significant number of questions because they are not properly educated on the treatment.
