Abstract: Provided herein are system, apparatus, article of manufacture, method and/or computer program product embodiments, and/or combinations and sub-combinations thereof, for using computer technology to automate the creation of consistent, high quality listings for selling “for sale objects” (FSO) on an ecommerce site. Some embodiments are configured to or operate by: identifying a category of a FSO; accessing templates for the category from a template database; navigating a user through a computer generated augmented reality (AR) environment using the templates to generate images of the FSO; analyzing one or more of the images to determine characteristics of the FSO; and generating a listing for the FSO using the images and the characteristics.

Abstract: An online system receives a recipe from a customer mobile device. The online system performs natural language processing on the recipe to determine parsed ingredients. For each of one or more of the determined parsed ingredients, the online system maps the parsed ingredient to a generic item. The online system queries a product database with the mapped generic item to obtain one or more products associated with the mapped generic item. The online system applies a machine-learned conversion model to each of the one or more products to determine a conversion likelihood for the product. The conversion model may be trained based on historical data describing previous conversions made by customers presented with an opportunity to add products to an order. The online system selects a product from the one or more products based on the determined conversion likelihoods and adds the selected product to an order.

Abstract: In a database, product image data is accumulated. A search portion acquires product image data having the image characteristics information that is the same as or similar to the image characteristics information that indicates the characteristics of the image of input image data from the database for the input image data. A search server outputs information on another product that is different from the product corresponding to the product image data together with the product image data acquired by the search portion.

Abstract: A system for determining customer interest in goods includes one or more memory devices storing instructions and one or more processors configured to execute the instructions. The processors are configured to receive customer location data from a smart device associated with a customer indicating the customer is within a retail venue of a retailer and to monitor, based on the customer location data, a current location of the customer within the retail venue. The processors are further configured to receive goods location data indicating locations of goods for sale within the retail venue and determine that the customer is interested in a particular good for sale within the retail venue based on the current customer location remaining in proximity to the location of the particular good for a predetermined period of time. The processors also conduct a search of pricing of the particular good at one or more other retailers and send a price comparison to the customer.

Abstract: Methods and systems for governing execution of a geography dependent computer process are provided. In one aspect, a method includes receiving a target location comprising a geographic identifier. The method also includes accessing a data store comprising a plurality of maps. Each map of the plurality of maps includes a plurality of geometric shapes and each geometric shape is associated with an execution rule. The method also includes determining which geometric shape of the plurality of geometric shapes the geographic identifier is bounded within for at least two maps of the plurality of maps. The method further includes generating an aggregate rule set based on each execution rule associated with each geometric shape determined to bound the geographic identifier. The method further includes applying the aggregate rule set. Machine-readable media are also provided.

Abstract: A method for implementing a recommendation system using an asymmetrically hierarchical network includes, for a user and an item corresponding to a user-item pair, aggregating, using asymmetrically designed sentence aggregators, respective ones of a set of item sentence embeddings and a set of user sentence embeddings to generate a set of item review embeddings based on first item attention weights and a set of user review embeddings based on first user attention weights, respectively, aggregating, using asymmetrically designed review aggregators, respective ones of the set of item review embeddings and the set of user review embeddings to generate an item embedding based on a second item attention weights and a user embedding based on second user attention weights, respectively, and predicting a rating of the user-item pair based on the item embedding and the user embedding.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for listing conversion estimation and optimization. A listing conversion estimation and optimization system receives a set of listing data for generating a listing of an item for sale on an online marketplace and determines, based on the set of listing data, a likelihood value indicating the likelihood that the listing will result in a sale within a given time period. The listing conversion estimation and optimization system causes presentation of a graphical indicator representing the likelihood value on the display of the listing user's client device.

Abstract: The systems and methods may identify order requests from internal messaging or collaboration systems. Once order requests are identified, the systems and methods determine purchase orders based on the requests, and generate tokens (e.g., virtual credit cards) specific to a purchase order, to be used by the requestor to complete the purchase of requested items or services. Once the tokens are used, the systems and methods may then track the purchases in various databases, providing the organization with various views or insights into their employee's expenditures.

Abstract: A system and method facilitate modification of an order including selection of a different supplier than the supplier originally designated to fill the order. The system includes a communication interface configured to receive an order identifying a product, a designated supplier and a price of the product. The system also includes a supplier database configured to store information for a plurality of suppliers. The system further includes processing circuitry configured to identify one or more alternative suppliers and the price of the product at the alternative suppliers based upon the information stored by the supplier database. The processing circuitry is also configured to cause information to be provided to a customer regarding the price of the product at the alternative suppliers. The processing circuitry is further configured, based on feedback from the customer that identifies a different supplier, to facilitate modification of the order to identify the different supplier.

The electronic device may present information associated with the data analyses, and enable users to review information, further assess applicability, make selections, and interface and integrate with external systems to exchange information and insights.

A control unit is arranged to communicate with a product information database, a product category database and a customer purchase history database. The control unit includes a product categorising unit arranged to generate at least one product category based on product information in the product information database and to store the at least one generated product category in the product category database. A calculating unit is arranged to calculate a probability of a customer being an underbuyer/overbuyer of a type of product based on the customer's purchase history stored in the customer purchase history database and the at least one product category from the product category database.

Abstract: A system and method for presenting a sales demonstration using a user interface of a pool/spa controller is provided. A first device includes a system controller user interface and sends data to a second device. The second device processes the data to present a media presentation which exhibits systems, associated features, and their ability to be controlled via a controller. A user can control pool and/or spa equipment using the first device, and the user's input can guide a presentation on the second device, which demonstrates corresponding features of such equipment. As such, the natural connections among a user, a controller, and an associated feature are demonstrated in a sales-effective manner. Additionally, the first device can present a user with a simulation of a control system interface to allow for effective sales of products.

Abstract: A software-based interactive collection book for mobile devices provides the users a way to connect their customers to products while the products are still being developed. This will allow a user to engage with their customers earlier to drive more sales. This will result in their products being more successful in the market at the time of launch.

Abstract: Various systems and methods are provided for prioritized sending of transaction messages to an electronic exchange. According to one embodiment, a system determines a priority level for each transaction message based on a potential monetary reward or risk associated with sending or delaying the message. Once the priority levels are determined, the messages may be sent based on the priority levels. Additionally, each priority level may be associated with a predetermined threshold level. If a message threshold is reached, a new message corresponding to that priority level is queued until the message may be transmitted without exceeding the threshold limit.

Abstract: Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing stored-value instrument purchase functionality for online shopping systems. In various embodiments, a computing system might assess content and/or information presented in a checkout page of a retailer website, the checkout page listing items selected by a user for purchase and a total purchase amount. The computing system might autonomously modify the checkout page by generating a user-selectable option therewithin, the user-selectable option comprising an option to purchase the items using a gift card available for purchase from a service provider. In response to selection of the user-selectable option, the computing system might provide a purchase interface that presents the user with a process to purchase a gift card having a gift card value. After completing purchase of the gift card, the computing system might apply the gift card value toward the total purchase amount within the checkout page.
