We allow the seller to choose his/her sale price and we allow the buyer to submit his/her purchase price, then, our system software determines when the market demand is ideal to enable both the seller and the buyer to get their desired price.

Abstract: In a system and method for providing augmented content, embodiments disclose a communication module that receives a product identifier for a product and content including an object. The embodiments also disclose an overlay creation module that creates a user interface with a first actuatable element, the first actuatable element being configured to send product purchase instructions to a merchant server when actuated. The embodiments also disclose a product matching module that matches the object to the product identifier and an augmentation module that, in response to the product matching module matching the object to the product identifier, creates an augmented content which includes the content and a second actuatable element, the second actuatable element being configured to display the user interface as an overlay over the content on a user device when actuated. The embodiments also disclose a displaying module that instructs a user device to display the augmented content.

A device, such as a communication device, may allow a user to view virtual images of items in a user environment so that a user may view what their potential purchase may look like when placed into the user environment. The user environment may include a residential room, an office, a car interior, or other location where a user may place purchased items. The user may submit a request to view an item in the user environment to the device, which may communicate the request to a merchant or a service provider. The virtual image may correspond to digital image(s) of an item used to present a three dimensional virtual image of the item in the user environment. The device may receive the virtual image(s) and display them to the user.

Abstract: In various example embodiments, a system and method for dynamically generating user interface elements and associated values are presented. An item listing and profile data are accessed. A set of user interface elements are dynamically generated based on the item listing and the profile data, with each user interface element configured to perform an action on the item listing. A set of values are dynamically determined, with each value being associated with a user interface element of the set of user interface elements. The set of user interface elements are then caused to be presented within the item listing.

Abstract: Methods and systems for recommending items to an unknown user of a website are disclosed. In one aspect, browsing activity of known users is analyzed to determine which items or categories of items are most popular in a given context (time, place, device, etc.). The known user browsing activity (clickstream data) is used to generate a multi-dimensional attribute matrix. Matrix factorization and clustering are used to generate affinity scores for items based on user context. These scores are used to generate item recommendations for an unknown user in a particular browsing context. In some embodiments, personalized item recommendations are updated based on interactions made between the unknown user and content of the website.

Abstract: Embodiments facilitate commercial transactions between a user and one or more vendors without requiring a user to provide information unique to a user account for the vendor. Embodiments prompt a user to select one or more vendors from a list of vendors. An authorization is obtained from the user to allow the computer program to retrieve the product from the list of vendors and on behalf of the user. The computer program then requests and receives, from each vendor, information for accessing an electronic resource of the vendor. In embodiments, the received information is unique to the user account for the vendor. The computer program then obtains the product from the vendor based on the received information.
