Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method are provided for obtaining and providing product information to a user. The method comprises creating, with a processor of a purchase evaluation system, a user profile comprising a plurality of purchasing decision factors with each having a respective weight. The method further comprises receiving a product identifier that identifies a product being considered for purchase by a user, and then building or retrieving, in real-time, a product profile based on the product identifier that contains a plurality of product factors corresponding to the purchasing decision factors, each of which contain a value representing a score of the product's relationship to the respective product factor. The method then evaluates the product based on a function that incorporates the purchasing decision factors and the product factors, and creates display data for displaying the identified product and the product evaluation on a display.

Abstract: Systems and methods for controlling sales permissions pertaining to sales activities by users of an online game are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: store information on electronic storage related to the users of the online game; execute an instance of the online game and implement the instance of the online game; receive supervisory input from a supervisory user; receive user input to request or initiate a sale; determine whether the request is in accordance with the one or more sales permissions; effectuate a performance of the sale of one or more particular virtual items, responsive to a determination that the request is permitted; and effectuate presentation of a notification to the user that conveys the user lacks permission, responsive to a determination that the request is not permitted under the one or more sales permissions.

Abstract: In some embodiments, a method can comprise receiving a query and determining one or more results for the query. In many embodiments, the one or more results can comprise one or more shelves, each shelf of the one or more shelves can comprise one or more facets, and each facet of the one or more facets can comprise one or more items. In various embodiments, the method can further comprise facilitating display of at least a portion of the one or more results for the query by facilitating display of at least the portion of the one or more results in a ranked order. In many embodiments, displaying the portion of the one or more results in a ranked order can comprise determining a composite score for each facet of the one or more facets of each shelf of the one or more shelves. Other embodiments of related methods and systems are also provided.

Abstract: A system for determining customer interest in goods includes one or more memory devices storing instructions and one or more processors configured to execute the instructions. The processors are configured to receive customer location data from a smart device associated with a customer indicating the customer is within a retail venue of a retailer and to monitor, based on the customer location data, a current location of the customer within the retail venue. The processors are further configured to receive goods location data indicating locations of goods for sale within the retail venue and determine that the customer is interested in a particular good for sale within the retail venue based on the current customer location remaining in proximity to the location of the particular good for a predetermined period of time. The processors also conduct a search of pricing of the particular good at one or more other retailers and send a price comparison to the customer.

Abstract: In a database, product image data is accumulated. A search portion acquires product image data having the image characteristics information that is the same as or similar to the image characteristics information that indicates the characteristics of the image of input image data from the database for the input image data. A search server outputs information on another product that is different from the product corresponding to the product image data together with the product image data acquired by the search portion.

The data bank receives personal data stream criteria and offers for goods, services, discounts, or incentives from personal data consumers (end users). The data bank may compare available streams of personal data and associated privacy directives for potential matches with criteria specified by consumers of personal data, and display offers to qualifying owners of personal data streams. If the owner accepts the offer, the data bank facilitates supplying the personal data stream to the consumer of personal data, and retains the ability to discontinue access to the stream at the owner's request.

Abstract: Information about participants in an auction are received and analyzed along with information about products to be auctioned and other information to generate an interest gauge. The interest gauge may reflect the interest of a buyer, a seller, an auction house or any other entity in the auctioning event. Based on the interest gauge, the operations of the auction can be augmented and/or modified to be optimal in view of revenue generation, products moved, and a balance between the two. For instance, the buyer interest gauge could be used to create packages of items to be auctioned in a combinatorial auction.

Abstract: In various example embodiments, a system and method for facilitating display of virtual content are presented. A session that displays two-dimensional (2D) content of one or more items available for sale is presented on a first device of a user. A second device of the user is detected, the second device being able to display three-dimensional (3D) content of the one or more items available for sale. 3D content of the one or more items available for sale is retrieved. Display of the 3D content on the second device is caused, the 3D content selectable by the user to perform interactions with the 3D content. An indication of the user performed interactions is received and processed. A result that depicts the user performed interactions as being processed is displayed on the first device of the user.

Abstract: Systems and systems which provide localized item procurement fulfilment using virtual distribution center inventory are described. For example, stocking locations of one or more intermediaries may provide virtual distribution center inventory for use by a supplier in facilitating localized item procurement fulfilment for acquirers. A supplier may provide a web based sales platform allowing acquirers to purchase items of the suppliers goods wherein the item procurement fulfilment is configured to utilize a network of intermediaries to facilitate competitive and satisfactory delivery timeframes, such as next day, same day, and even on-demand delivery of the goods, using economy shipping options.

Abstract: Technologies are described herein for extracting comments from customer reviews for a media item or a collection of media items in order to provide salient comments to promote the media item or the collection of media items. Comments contained in the customer reviews are associated with topics and individual comments are assigned to one or more of the topics. Sentiment indicators corresponding to the comments indicate a majority sentiment that is associated with the topics. Using the majority sentiment, quotes are extracted from the comments to be displayed with an offer to sell at the media item or the collection of media items.

Abstract: A method and system is presented for coordinating the transmission of supplemental digital data to accompany broadcast data, and in particular, analog radio broadcasts, among a plurality of broadcasters. The supplemental digital data may provide information about the particular broadcast data being transmitted (i.e. cut data) or may be supplemental to such data (i.e. news, weather and traffic data). The supplemental digital data to be presented is sorted based on particular algorithms which may take into account broadcaster-specified criteria such as target audience, time of day, type of broadcast data presented, and the like. The supplemental digital data may be audio data, visual data, or audio-visual data for presentation with the broadcast data. The supplemental digital data may further be advertisement data. The advertisement data may be sold by the broadcasters or the party coordinating the IBOC transmission of the supplemental digital data.

Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to document analysis, and more particularly to a method and system for Request For Proposal (RFP) response generation. In one embodiment, the system automatically generates at least one search query in response to a RFP received as input, searches in at least one reference solution database using the generated search query, finds matching data, filters the matching data based on RFP parameter specific data, and prepares a response document. The response document is then provided as an output of the system, in response to the RFP collected as input.

Abstract: Described are techniques for automatically generating tables or other types of output for comparing attributes of similar items. For each attribute of a particular item, a system may determine whether that attribute is generic to most items or specific to an item or category, whether data for that attribute is available for a sufficient number of items, and whether the value of that attribute differs among a sufficient number of items to facilitate a useful comparison. Responsive to user input, item data and one or more tables or other types of output may be provided to a user device. User input interacting with a table(s) or other output may be used to modify the stored table or output or to navigate to other tables, outputs, or item data.

Abstract: Systems and methods provide for integrating a wallet client with federated directory services are disclosed herein. By integrating merchant services, such as directory services with a wallet service provider, wallet clients on mobile devices can have access to all merchant listings without having to manually add each directory service. The system disclosed herein integrates Chamber of Commerce directory service listings with the wallet client, such that when a request for a merchant directory service is received from a device associated with the wallet client, the request is forwarded to a federated directory service wallet system interface operated by a Chamber of Commerce site. Supply chain data that matches the request, and location information that is included in the request, is then fetched from the federated directory service wallet system interface and forwarded to the device that sent the request.

Abstract: Various systems and methods are provided for prioritized sending of transaction messages to an electronic exchange. According to one embodiment, a system determines a priority level for each transaction message based on a potential monetary reward or risk associated with sending or delaying the message. Once the priority levels are determined, the messages may be sent based on the priority levels. Additionally, each priority level may be associated with a predetermined threshold level. If a message threshold is reached, a new message corresponding to that priority level is queued until the message may be transmitted without exceeding the threshold limit.

Abstract: A retail service data center provides client facing web pages to allow users to remotely shop for items to be delivered from local retailers without either the users or the local retailer knowing the identity of each other. A retail service is used by shoppers that searches for items in nearby retail stores' inventory. The retail service allows the retail stores to match, or beat, an advertised price at which a given item is being offered by an online retailer. If the user decides to buy an item, the retail service conducts a first transaction with the retail service, which then uses the funds to buy the item from the local retailer. In addition, the retail service arranges for pick-up and delivery of the item by a local driving service. The identities of the buyer and the retailer are not made known to each other.
