  • Patent number: 10908230
Abstract: A sensor includes an output circuit configured to generate a sensor output signal based on an input signal having a logic high or low level, as may be provided by a Schmitt trigger circuit. During normal operation, the output switches between a first percentage of the supply voltage for logic high and a second percentage of the supply voltage for logic low. To convey a failure at the output, an output signal is output as either ground or the supply voltage when a fault is detected. As such, a fault can be communicated any time the output voltage is not equal to the first percentage or the second percentage of the supply voltage.

  • Patent number: 10859624
Abstract: A semiconductor device includes first and second semiconductor chips mounted on one package. In the first semiconductor chip, a current generation circuit generates a sense current in accordance with a load current and a fault current indicating that an abnormality detection circuit has detected an abnormality, and allows either one of the currents to flow through a current detecting resistor in accordance with presence or absence of detection of the abnormality. In the second semiconductor chip, a storage circuit stores a current value of the fault current obtained in an inspection process of the semiconductor device as a determination reference value. An arithmetic processing circuit sets a standard range based on the determination reference value, and determines presence or absence of detection of the abnormality based on whether or not a current value indicated by a digital signal of an analog-digital conversion circuit is included within the standard range.

  • Patent number: 10845432
Abstract: A system and method for calibrating rigid and non-rigid arrays of 3-axis magnetometers. Such arrays might be used to analyze structures containing ferromagnetic material. The calibration determines scale factor and bias parameters of each magnetometer in the array, and the relative orientation and position of each magnetometer in the array. Once the parameters are determined, the actual magnetic field value at the magnetometer location can be simply related to magnetometer measurements. The method and system can be used to calibrate an array of 3-axis magnetometers in aggregate as opposed to individual magnetometers. This is critical in large arrays to increasing reproducibility of the calibration procedure and decreasing time required to complete calibration procedure.
