Abstract: A power exchange controller adjusts a power exchange between a plurality of batteries and an upper authority to control deterioration of a state-of-health of each of the plurality of batteries at an equivalent rate. The power exchange controller is operable to receive a total power demand from the upper authority and each of the plurality of batteries connected to a charging station and adjust the power exchange between the upper authority and each of the plurality of batteries by detecting a battery temperature of each of the plurality of batteries and determining the power exchange with each of the plurality of batteries based on the total power demand and an equalized temperature determined from each battery temperature. Each power exchange is determined so that the battery temperature of each of the plurality of batteries during the power exchange is adjusted to the equalized temperature.

  • Patent number: 9317650
Abstract: One or more techniques or systems for determining double patterning technology (DPT) layout routing compliance are provided herein. For example, a layout routing component of a system is configured to assign a pin loop value to a pin loop. In some embodiments, the pin loop value is assigned based on a mask assignment of a pin of the pin loop. In some embodiments, the pin loop value is assigned based on a number of nodes associated with the pin loop. DPT compliance or a DPT violation is determined for the pin loop based on the pin loop value. In this manner, odd loop detection associated with DPT layout routing is provided because a DPT violation results in generation of an additional instance of a net, for example. Detecting an odd loop allows a design to be redesigned before fabrication, where the odd loop would present undesired issues.

  • Patent number: 9312717
Abstract: Frequent charging/discharging to an electric energy storage element is suppressed for energy saving and longer lifetime. A transmission-line-side power converter device converts power from a transmission line, and supplies DC power to a feeder line connected to an electric energy storage element. An output current controller connected with a line voltage detector detects the feeder line voltage, and a charging rate detector detects a charging rate of the electric energy storage element. A control table sets charging/discharging start voltages and current saturated voltages based on the detected line voltage and charging rate. The output current controller controls the electric energy storage element to discharge at a high line voltage as the charging rate increase, to suppress charging the electric energy storage element at the low line voltage, and makes discharging difficult at the low line voltage to facilitate charging at the low line voltage as the charging rate decreases.
