  • Patent number: 10931909
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, apparatus, article of manufacture, method and/or computer program product embodiments, and/or combinations and sub-combinations thereof, for synchronizing playback of audiovisual content among multiple speakers. In some embodiments, a first smart speaker receives a spread spectrum signal from a second smart speaker over an audio data channel. The first smart speaker despreads the spread spectrum signal based on a spreading code. The first smart speaker determines a time of receipt of the spread spectrum signal based on the despreading. The first smart speaker receives a time of transmission of the spread spectrum signal. The first smart speaker then calculates a playback delay based on the time of receipt and the time of transmission. Then the first smart speaker controls the playback of the audiovisual content based on the playback delay.

  • Patent number: 10917703
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided herein for generating summaries of unconsumed portions of an ordered series of media assets, customized for multiple users. A media guidance application may determine that a given media asset of an ordered series is to be collectively consumed by a first user and a second user. A first portion of an ordered series, that both the first user and the second user have not yet consumed, is identified together with a second portion of the ordered series that the first user has consumed but the second user has not yet consumed. A custom summary including a detailed summary of the first portion (e.g., a two minute summary) and less detailed summary of the second portion (e.g., a one minute summary) is generated.

  • Patent number: 10864998
Abstract: [Problem] To provide a spectral camera control device, a spectral camera control program, a spectral camera control system, an aircraft equipped with said system, and a spectral image capturing method, with which it is possible for each of a spatial resolution and an exposure time for spectral image capture to be set arbitrarily, and with which spatial distortion and displacement of the spectral image can be suppressed. [Solution] This spectral camera control device is installed together with a spectral camera 3 provided with a liquid crystal tunable filter 33 in an aircraft 1 capable of stationary flight, and causes the spectral camera 3 to capture an image in a snapshot mode each time the transmission wavelength of the liquid crystal tunable filter 33 is switched while the aircraft 1 is in stationary flight.

  • Patent number: 10863111
Abstract: A top-view image of a road is composed from at least two images taken by a vehicle-mounted camera. A speed and/or an acceleration of the vehicle is recorded, as well as at least two sequential images. A first image is selected for further processing. A first selected area of the first selected image is determined, located in a zone of the image with minimum distortion. A second image captured later is selected for further processing. A second area of the second image is selected in a zone of the image with minimum distortion and located such that image content shown at a lower border of the second area is adjacent to image content at an upper border of the first selected area. The first and second selected areas are transformed into a top-view perspective, and the transformed first and second selected areas stitched together for generating a composed top-view image.

  • Patent number: 10785453
Abstract: A method for automatically authenticating unknown video data based on known video data stored at a client server is provided, wherein, unknown and known video data each are made up of segments and include metadata, a hash message digest, and a serial code. The method involves selecting a first segment of the unknown video and locating the serial code within the first segment of the unknown video data. The serial code is used to locate a corresponding first segment in the known video data. The first segment may include a known hash message digest. A new hash message digest for the first segment of the unknown video data is generated and compared with the known hash message digest. If they match, the segment of unknown video data is authentic.
