  • Patent number: 10330572
Abstract: According to the sampling method of the aspect of the present invention, the coordinate (location information) of the sampling location on the sampling specimen is generated randomly by the controller, such as a personal computer, of the sampling location display. Based on the location information, the sampling location is displayed on the sampling specimen, which is a part of the recycled raw material, by laser light. Because of this, arbitrariness, in which the operator artificially selects the sampling location, during incremental sampling for setting the average quality of the sampling specimen, such as the average content of valuable metal, can be excluded reliably.

  • Patent number: 10325156
Abstract: There are disclosed methods and apparatus for manufacture of prints produced and packaged from image inventories. A physical print production and packaging machine assigns metadata to each physical print of a frame of a digital video work. It takes objects that have been detected, recognized and assigned metadata to the objects by the frame slicing and packaging machine and detects, recognizes and assigns new items of metadata to objects that are unique to the physical print. The print production and packaging machine then generates a cryptographic hash of the physical print's digital file. Lastly, the print production and packaging machine writes the hash to a node of a transaction processing network.

  • Patent number: 10264233
Abstract: A memory portion stores automated reproducing setting data that associates content input sources with necessariness/unnecessariness of automated reproduction of content. A control portion, when an operation-display portion or a remote control reception portion accepts selection of a content input source, judges whether or not automated reproduction is necessary on content that is inputted from the currently selected input source, based on the automated reproducing setting data. Also, the control portion starts outputting, at an audio signal output portion and a video signal output portion, a reproducing signal on the content that is inputted from the currently selected input source, when judging that automated reproduction of the content is necessary.

  • Patent number: 10250862
Abstract: To prevent gradation collapse. A BD player 1 includes a CPU 2 that obtains dynamic range of a monitor, a reproduction section 4 that obtains content information, and a video processor 5 that converts a digital video signal based on dynamic range of the monitor that is obtained by the CPU 2 and the content information that is obtained by the reproduction section 4. The video processor 5 converts each code value of the digital video signal of a content so that code value of the digital video signal that corresponds to “minimum luminance of the content” becomes code value that corresponds to “minimum luminance of the monitor” and code value of the digital video signal that corresponds to “maximum luminance of the content” becomes code value that corresponds to “maximum luminance of the monitor”.

  • Patent number: 10234690
Abstract: An autostereoscopic display comprises a pixelated display panel comprising an array of single color pixels or an array of sub-pixels of different colors and a view forming arrangement comprising an array of lens elements. The pixels form a square (or near square) grid, and the lenses also repeat in a square (or near square) grid. A vector p is defined which relates to a mapping between the pixel grid and the lens grid. Regions in the two dimension space for this vector p are identified which give good or poor banding performance, and the better banding performance regions are selected.
