Abstract: A system and method for virtual clothes fitting based on video augmented reality in a mobile wireless device is disclosed. In an embodiment, a method for virtual cloth-fitting with video augmentation in a mobile wireless device includes receiving a video stream of an upper body of a user; detecting a face in the video stream; detecting a shoulder contour; determining keypoints of the shoulder and neck portions of the video stream of the upper body of the user according to the detected face and the detected shoulder contour; mapping an image of clothes to the video stream of the upper body of the user according to the keypoints; and displaying an augmented video stream of the upper body of the user with the image of the clothes overlaid over a portion of the video stream of the upper body of the user.

Abstract: A method for presenting a verified rental payment history of a rental user. The method includes selecting verified rental payment history factors related to a rental user's rental history and verified accounts of the rental user. The method further includes receiving authentication credentials for the verified accounts and receiving payment history records from the verified accounts using the authentication credentials. The method further includes generating renter analytics using the verified rental payment history factors and the payment history records. The method further includes generating the verified rental payment history using renter analytics and delivering the verified rental payment history to a landlord user.

Abstract: In various example embodiments, a system and method for dynamically generating user interface elements and associated values are presented. An item listing and profile data are accessed. A set of user interface elements are dynamically generated based on the item listing and the profile data, with each user interface element configured to perform an action on the item listing. A set of values are dynamically determined, with each value being associated with a user interface element of the set of user interface elements. The set of user interface elements are then caused to be presented within the item listing.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure include a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program and a computer-implemented method for providing alternative recommendations using search context. Consistent with some embodiments, the method may include receiving a user search query and receiving a request to view an item included in a set of search results retrieved in response to the search query. The method may further include determining an alternative item recommendation using the search query and attributes of the item, and causing presentation of the item and the alternative item recommendation in response to receiving the request to view the item.

Abstract: Techniques described herein include a system and method for identifying color complements from an electronic marketplace catalog. In particular, the disclosure is directed to extracting color palette information from a variety of item images in the electronic catalog and creating clusters into which separate items are placed based on their similarity in colors. Multi-colored items may belong to more than one cluster (they may belong to a cluster for each color associated with the item). The clusters that share multi-colored items may be analyzed to determine the strength of a relationship between the two clusters. Clusters that share a significant number of items may be associated with complementary colors. In this disclosure, a service provider may receive a request related to an item, and may subsequently identify and recommend a complementary item.

Abstract: Techniques for mapping item listings from a first taxonomy to a second taxonomy are described. In an example embodiment, item listings from a first database storing a first taxonomy and item listings from a second database storing a second taxonomy are obtained. Then, for each of the obtained item listings, a plurality of features is extracted, including at least one feature related to an image associated with the item listing and at least one feature related to text associated with the item listing. Then a mapping between item listings in the first taxonomy and item listings in the second taxonomy is created based on the plurality of features extracted by the feature extraction component, wherein the mapping identifies which item listings in the first taxonomy correlate to a same product as which item listings in the second taxonomy.

The user may submit a request to view an item in the user environment to the device, which may communicate the request to a merchant or a service provider. The virtual image may correspond to digital image(s) of an item used to present a three dimensional virtual image of the item in the user environment. Abstract: In a system and method for providing augmented content, embodiments disclose a communication module that receives a product identifier for a product and content including an object. The embodiments also disclose an overlay creation module that creates a user interface with a first actuatable element, the first actuatable element being configured to send product purchase instructions to a merchant server when actuated.
