Abstract: An adaptive lighting system for a work vehicle controlled by an operator from an operator station and having a work tool and a method for illuminating a work area are provided. The system includes at least one lighting member configured to illuminate at least one portion of a work area, an actuator coupled to the at least one lighting member and configured to position the at least one lighting member relative to the operator station, and a controller in communication with the actuator and configured to control positioning of the at least one lighting member via the actuator based on an operator control position and a position of the work tool.

Abstract: Fueling station network management systems and methods generate rating metrics and/or rankings regarding one or more fueling stations based, in part, on user fueling experience feedback data. A user device can include an application through which user feedback can be received and communicated to a data server. Additionally, the fueling station can also provide information, such as a status of the fueling station, to the data server. The data server can provide suggested fueling stations to a user based on the user's location and/or the user feedback and fueling station data. An incentivization system can be included to incentivize users to provide feedback regarding their fueling experience.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to providing a mechanism for communication between point of sale devices. Using network technology and novel processes, the present systems and methods can share transaction records among multiple devices without the presence of a physical server. For example, in certain embodiments, the present systems and methods leverage virtual server technology to implement local area networks of point of sale devices with zero configuration.

Abstract: A network connection is established with a server. A broadcasted advertising packet of a wireless communication protocol is received from a remote device. The remote device repeatedly broadcasts content of the advertising packet based at least in part a total number of remote devices specified to broadcast to the system. Payload content from the advertising packet is extracted. At least a portion of the extracted payload content is sent via the network connection to the server.

Abstract: Systems and methods of retailing a retail item to an airline passenger generally include providing an airplane equipped with: an airplane cabin; a plurality of seats disposed within the airplane cabin and partitioned by an aisle; a service cart movable along the aisle; and a digital reader device; positioning the retail item in the vicinity of the digital reader device; reading an item identifier of the retail item using the digital reader device; storing the item identifier in a reader memory of the digital reader device; positioning a digital payment object in the vicinity of the digital reader device, the digital payment object being carried onto the airplane by the airline passenger; communicating information between the digital payment object and the digital reader device; and processing payment for the retail item. The digital payment object may include a physical passenger identifier, a contactless payment object, or a portable user device.

Abstract: Math-based currency (“MBC”) transactions are inherently quasi-anonymous. Systems and methods of registering customers with a financial institution for the purposes of opening a MBC account are described. During the registration process, the financial institution gathers and stores certain information relating to the customers having MBC accounts. This information may later be used to provide verification of MBC transactions to other parties involved in the MBC transactions.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for recording information for a part, such as history information for an aircraft part. A part history blockchain network comprises part history blockchains for the part that are configured to record the information for the part. Configuration and activity history information for the vehicle is recorded in vehicle configuration and activity history blockchains for the vehicle in a vehicle configuration and activity history blockchain network. A part installation notification is received by the part history blockchain network. The part installation notification identifies the part and indicates that the part is installed on the vehicle. The part history blockchains for the part are locked in response to receiving the part installation notification to prevent adding information for the part to the part history blockchains for the part for as long as the part is installed on the vehicle.

Abstract: Methods and systems for facilitating delivery of goods from a retail location to a customer are disclosed. In one method, a request is received from a customer user which includes an order for goods to be delivered from a retail store. One or more delivery users within a predefined geographic area shared with a location of the customer user are identified. A delivery user agrees to pick up the customer's order and deliver the requested goods to the customer's home. Confirmation messages are automatically sent and received when the delivery user picks up the customer's order and again when the order is delivered to the customer. The delivery user can earn rewards or payments upon completion of successful delivery.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for capturing product indications from an Internet of Things connected device to estimate supply and replenish. An indication can be received from the IoT connected device located at a location, wherein the indication corresponds to a product stocked at the location. A plurality of indications corresponding to the product can be captured over a period of time. A supply level of the product at one or more warehouses can be established based on the indications, wherein the one or more warehouses supply the location with the product. Computer code can be executed to generate an instruction to ship the product from a supplier to the one or more warehouses based on the estimated supply level. The product can be shipped from the supplier to the one or more warehouses based on the executed computer code.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus embodiments for electric power grid and network registration and management of physical and financial settlement for participation of active grid elements in supply and/or curtailment of power, wherein Internet Protocol (IP)-based messages including IP packets are generated by transforming raw data content into settlement grade content. Settlement is provided for grid elements that participate in the electric power grid following initial registration of each grid element with the system, preferably through network-based communication between the grid elements and a coordinator, either in coordination with or outside of an IP-based communications network router. Messaging related to settlement is managed through a network by a Coordinator using IP messaging for communication with the grid elements, with the energy management system (EMS), and with the utilities, market participants, and/or grid operators.

Abstract: Application integration for contactless payments is described. In an example, a payment making platform can provide a transaction code to a payment processing platform. The transaction code can be presented at a point-of-sale of a transaction between a customer and a merchant associated with the payment processing platform. Upon detecting an interaction between the transaction code and a computing device of the customer, the payment making platform and the payment processing platform can exchange data to enable the customer to participate in the transaction via the computing device of the customer. In some examples, the payment making platform and the payment processing platform can process a contactless payment for the transaction by transferring funds associated with an account of the customer from the payment making platform to the payment processing platform for depositing into an account of the merchant.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure describe systems and methods for continuously monitoring the health of a point-of-sale (POS) device, at a central location, and executing self-healing software from the malfunctioning POS device. The self-healing software may be stored locally on the POS device itself, occupying a small footprint and therefore easily be stored in and execute on both older and newer POS devices. Embodiments further describe a central server as coordinating both identification of the particular self-healing process to execute on each POS device as well as the timing of execution associated therewith.

Abstract: A system for ordering goods via a vehicle includes a location sensor, an input device to receive a first desired consumable order from a first POS, a network access device, and an electronic control unit (ECU) coupled to the location sensor, the input device, and the output device. The ECU is designed to determine or predict a first wait time between ordering the first desired consumable order and a corresponding first desired consumable being available for pickup at the first point of sale, determine a first route time corresponding to an amount of time for the vehicle to travel from the current location of the vehicle to the first point of sale, and control the network access device to transmit the first desired consumable order to the first point of sale when the first wait time is within a predetermined amount of time of the first route time.
