Abstract: A passenger protection system for a vehicle includes a vehicle sensor control system having at least one processor and computerized memory storing vehicle control software therein, wherein the vehicle control software receives input data from a plurality of vehicle sensors. A digital control sequence is triggered in the software by a presence of at least one occupant other than a driver in the vehicle who is classified as a child, with the digital control sequence activating and de-activating an alert system and a system of electronically programmed interlocks in a vehicle control system. The alert system includes at least one of an audible alert and/or a visible alert and/or a haptic alert to ensure child safety in the vehicle during operation. The interlocks may electronically control numerous vehicle functions including window operation, seat position adjustment, and seat belt position adjustment.

  • Patent number: 12077169
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing continuous safe-driver training safely are provided. A safe-driving challenge may be presented to an operator of a vehicle. Data captured by sensors associated with the vehicle may be analyzed to determine whether the operator of the vehicle has completed the safe-driving challenge. Based on a determination that the operator of the vehicle has completed the safe-driving challenge, a notification may be provided to the operator (e.g., indicating to the operator that he or she has successfully completed the challenge). A processor may randomly select whether a reward is to be provided to the operator of the vehicle based on the determination that the operator of the vehicle has completed the safe-driving challenge. Moreover, if a reward is to be provided to the operator of the vehicle, a processor may randomly select a type of reward to be provided to the operator of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 12071143
Abstract: Systems and methods for reducing vehicle collisions based on driver risk groups are provided. A plurality of vehicle operators may be classified into a driver risk group based on one or more attributes (e.g., location, workplace, school, demographic, hobby, interest, etc.) shared by the plurality of vehicle operators. Vehicle sensor data (e.g., speed data, acceleration data, braking data, cornering data, following distance data, turn signal data, seatbelt use data, etc.) associated with each of the plurality of vehicle operators of the driver risk group may be analyzed. Based on the analysis of the vehicle sensor data, one or more indicia of safe driving behavior associated with the driver risk group may be identified. In response to a third-party query regarding a vehicle operator in the driver risk group, an indication of the safe driving behavior associated with the driver risk group may be provided to the third party.

  • Patent number: 12061944
Abstract: De-duplicating redundant data for data aggregation is described herein. In an example, a computing device receives first data identifying first items. The computing device determines that a first data portion and a second data portion indicate that a same item is detected to be within a location. The computing device generates second data by removing the second data portion from the first data. The computing device determines, based on a query to a data store storing previously stored data identifying second items, that (i) a no match exists between the first data portion and the previously stored data, (ii) a match exists between a third data portion of the second data and the previously stored data. The computing device generates a count of items detected within the location by incrementing a previous count based on the no match and by foregoing a count increment based on the match.

  • Patent number: 11983588
Abstract: A label printing program running on a computing system can associate assets with unique identifiers (UIDs) corresponding to ID tag-bearing labels that are designed to be affixed to the assets. In response to user input selecting an asset for which ID tag-bearing labels should be printed, the label printing program can send command(s) to a printing system that cause an ID tag reader within the printing system to read an ID tag from an unprinted label and determine a UID associated with the ID tag. In response to receiving the UID from the printing system, the label printing program can update a data record that is associated with the asset with the UID associated with the ID tag. The printing system can also print relevant asset information on the unprinted label, thereby creating a printed label that can be affixed to the asset.

  • Patent number: 11929160
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes receiving a signal associated with a characteristic of an actuation event of a medicament delivery device. The method includes establishing a communications link (e.g., via a short-range wireless protocol), between a mobile computing device and a medicament delivery device. A wireless first signal associated with a first motion profile of the medicament delivery device is then received from the medicament delivery device. A second signal associated with a second motion profile of the mobile computing device is generated. The method then includes producing a notification via the mobile computing device when A) a magnitude of the first motion profile is outside of a first threshold and B) a magnitude of the second motion profile is outside of a second threshold.
