  • Patent number: 6796842
Abstract: A connector structure for connecting an electronic card includes an insulated body, a plurality of terminals, a seesawing mount and a resilient element. The insulated body has an opening with a plurality of holes formed on at least one wall of the opening. Each terminal has a contact portion for penetrating through a respective hole on the wall into the opening. The seesawing mount is furnished in the opening with a first end and a second end. The second end of the seesawing mount is located above the contact portions of the terminals. The resilient element has one end mounted on the insulated body and the other end pressing down the second end of the seesawing mount to press down the contact portions of the terminals. Whereby when inserting the electronic card in the insulated body, the electronic card pushes down the first end of the seesawing mount to lift up the second end of the seesawing mount so that the contact portions of the terminals can touch the electronic card.

  • Patent number: 6793526
Abstract: A stacked connector includes a base dock connecting to an electric circuit. The base dock has an insert member mounted thereon. The insert member includes at least two insert slots and is encased by a metal shell from outside. The rear side of the insert member is coupled with a transfer connection circuit. The base dock has connection terminals directly connecting to the electric circuit. The connection terminals in each insert slot are extended to the rear side of the insert member to connect to the transfer connection circuit. Thereby the length of the connection terminals may be reduced to lower the cost and enhance the structural sturdiness and reduce interference between the terminals.

  • Patent number: 6790065
Abstract: In a socket for an electric part, two slide plates 15 and 16 slidably mounted are slid in different directions by applying an urging force for urging an upper operating member 18 downwards, thereby resiliently resilient pieces 5a and 5b of a contact pin 4 in spacing directions to open out contact portions 7. The slide plates 15 and 16 are slid back to their original positions by releasing the urging force to the upper operating member 18, thereby decreasing the resilient deformation of the resilient pieces 5a and 5b in approaching directions to close the contact portions 7 of the contact pin 4. In this manner, the electric part is clamped. Thus, the contact portions can be opened out in equal resiliently deformed amounts by equally pressing the resilient pieces constituting the contact pin.

  • Patent number: 6790106
Abstract: A tab (20) has first and second plates (21, 22). A bulge (23) of the first plate (21) is spaced from the second plate (22). Supports (25) project from the bulge (23) and contact with the second plate (22). Thus, a sufficient strength is secured for the tab (20). The supports (25) are in contact with the second plate (22) at positions displaced toward side edges from the free ends (28a). Thus, there is no danger that the supports (25) will thrust themselves between the free ends (28a) to separate the free ends (28a) when the first plate (21) is pressed, thereby preventing the tab (20) from being deformed.

  • Patent number: 6783400
Abstract: An electrical connector assembly (1) includes a first connector (2) and a second connector (3). The first connector includes a first housing (21) and first electrical contacts (22). The second connector includes a second housing (31) and second electrical contacts (32). The first contacts include signal contacts (22A), ground contacts (22B), and shield-joint contacts (22C). The signal contacts are arranged in pairs, with each pair transmitting one set of differential signals. The signal contacts within each pair are separated by an empty passage (214). Adjacent pairs of signal contacts are separated by one ground contact or by one shield-joint contact. The second contacts are configured to correspond to the first contacts, so that the first and second contacts can electrically mate with each other to electrically interconnect the first and second connectors. The wide interval between adjacent signal contacts enables cross talk between adjacent signal contacts to be reduced.
