Abstract: Devices and methods covering a gap between an edge of a surface and a body exposed through an opening in the surface defined by the edge. Such a device has at least first and second sections formed of different materials. The device is positioned so that the second section is over a portion of the surface adjacent the opening and the first section extends over the gap and the opening. After removing a release liner releasably secured to a backside of the first section to cover an adhesive, portions of the first section are bent and molded to plastically conform the portions to the edge of the surface while the second section remains over the portion of the surface adjacent the opening. The body is then contacted with the backside of the first section such that the backside of the first section is adhered to the body with the adhesive.

Abstract: The present invention provides a restickable lettering film and a manufacturing method thereof. The manufacturing method of the restickable lettering film includes steps of: preparing a lettering layer having a first surface and a second surface; disposing a thermo-bonding layer on the second surface of the lettering layer; adhering the first surface of the lettering layer to a temporary adhesive layer. The lettering layer can be many times repeatedly removed from and adhered to the temporary adhesive layer. Accordingly, a user can easily use the lettering film.
Abstract: A lettering film includes a lettering layer, a middle layer and a substrate layer. The lettering layer, the middle layer and the substrate layer are separably adhered to each other. The lettering layer has cutting stripes. The lettering film can be cut into characters and/or figures. The cutting marks of the characters and/or figures cut the lettering layer and the middle layer without cutting off the substrate layer. The lettering layer of the lettering film is adhered to an article and then the substrate layer and the middle layer are peeled off, whereby the lettering layer is adhered to the article and the cut characters and/or figures are adhered to the surface of the article.
Abstract: A multi-purpose sticker for decorating and sealing an envelope and also for attaching the sealed envelope to a package, such as a gift. The multi-purpose sticker generally includes a double-sided adhesive layer hidden below a decorative covering. With the decorative cover in place, one side of the double-sided adhesive of the sticker can be used to seal an envelope, and the sticker serves as a decorative sticker. If desired, the decorative cover can be peeled off to expose an adhesive in order to affix the sealed envelope to a package.
Abstract: An apparatus to prevent curling of a rug corner. The apparatus includes a rigid and planar body having a top surface and a bottom surface. A hook-and-pile fastener detachably secures the body and rug together. The body maintains the rug corner in a flat condition thus preventing any curling of the rug.
Abstract: A protective cover assembly and a protected electronic device are provided. The protective cover assembly for example includes: a silicone base, having an inner surface and an outer surface opposite to the inner surface; a patterned double-sided adhesive layer, attached onto the inner surface of the silicone base; and a releasable protective paper, attached onto a side of the patterned double-sided adhesive layer facing away from the inner surface of the silicone base and thereby the patterned double-sided adhesive layer is sandwiched between the silicone base and the releasable protective paper. The protective cover assembly can be applied for protecting a keypad and/or display part of an electronic device to thereby make the protected electronic device gain a liquid sealing and corrosion-resistant performance and the service life is prolonged consequently.
Abstract: In a continuous roll of wrapping material for crops such as cotton or hay, or other objects, the individual wrapping segments are arranged so that a closing adhesive is part of a sealing accessory and otherwise protected by other structures of the sealing accessory until the point when this closing adhesive is to be exposed for securing a wrapping segment to itself, for example when encircling a subject bale harvested from a field, wherein adjacent wrapping segments separate from each other either at a point of weakness associated with perforations and the like.
Abstract: An apparatus, comprising; a piece of material having a first end and a second end and a first side and second side, wherein the piece of material has a predetermined length and width of approximately, an adhesive member having a first side and a second side, wherein each side has adhesive properties, and the adhesive member is attached distal to the first end of the piece of material on the first side, a removable cover, detachably secured to the adhesive member exposed side, and at least one tie attached to the to the second end of the piece of material.
Abstract: An attachment structure includes a main body and a first adhesive layer. The main body has an upper side as a first side and a lower side as a second side. The first adhesive layer is selectively disposed on one of the first and second sides. The first adhesive layer has multiple first passages. The first passages divide the first adhesive layer into multiple first adhesive blocks. By means of the first passages of the first adhesive layer, when the main body is attached to another unit, the main body can be more easily and tightly attached to the unit without producing any void or blister.
Abstract: In an example embodiment, there is disclosed herein a sleeve that has a peel-off appliqué or label that includes desired graphics that can be combined with a drink cup or container. The label or appliqué or “collectable” acts as a “mini-poster” that is removable and repositionable. The label may have graphics of sports starts or other things such as musical performers, super heroes, etc. Particular embodiments include interior die cut images within the main graphic as “collectibles within a collectible.” In another example embodiment, a container appliqué is applied to the container.
Abstract: Systems and films for protecting surfaces of various substrates, including electronic devices, such as portable electronic devices, include a liner with a strip liner and a main liner. The strip liner, which covers a small strip of adhesive on the back side of a protective film, is configured to be removed before the main liner. With the small strip of adhesive exposed, the protective film may be aligned with a substrate and, if necessary, removed from the substrates and repositioned thereon. Thereafter, the main liner may be removed to enable complete application of the protective film to the substrate. Methods for securing protective films to substrates are also disclosed.
Abstract: Provided is a PSA sheet capable of providing greater air release properties. The present invention provides a release-linered PSA sheet comprising a PSA sheet and a release liner covering an adhesive face of the PSA sheet. The PSA sheet has a coating layer that partially forms the adhesive face. The release liner has an arithmetic average roughness of 0.1 ?m or greater on the PSA sheet side surface.
Abstract: A package label is described. The package label comprises a first ply, a second ply, and a first edge. The second ply comprises a pull tab comprising a first boundary adjacent the first edge, a second boundary opposing the first boundary, and a first adhesive deadener area. The second ply also comprises a first line of weakness adjacent the second boundary and positioned apart from the first adhesive deadener area. The first line of weakness is linear. The second ply further comprises a first stopping feature adjacent a first end of the first line of weakness and a second stopping feature adjacent a second end of the first line of weakness. Various embodiments of the package label are also described.
Abstract: A label manufacturing method includes: a cladding material manufacturing step, including: manufacturing adhesive, a release film including a base material and a surface material, and a transparent film into a cladding material, wherein a first side of the cladding material includes the base material of the release film, the transparent film, and the surface material of the release film, and a second side of the cladding material includes the adhesive and the surface material of the release film, and the first side and the second side are two sides of the cladding material which are side by side; and, a label die cutting step, including die cutting the transparent film and the base material of the release film at the first side of the cladding material into a first label unit, and die cutting the adhesive at the second side of the cladding material into a second label unit.
Abstract: Computing devices may require disassembly to repair or replace a defective or damaged component, or to facilitate recycling at the end of the computing device's service life. While pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) is good at creating secure connections between components within the expected operating conditions of the computing device, PSA resists intentional disassembly of such components. The presently disclosed PSA with thermally conductive release tabs provides a mechanism for effective spot-cooling of the PSA between adhered components. Once the PSA reaches a low temperature threshold, one component may be mechanically separated from another component. This yields potentially faster and easier disassembly of adhered components than prior art techniques.
