  • Patent number: 11170733
Abstract: A projector and a projection method are provided. The projector is coupled to a display card and includes a light source, a light valve, a projection lens, and a processor. The light source provides an illumination beam. The light valve converts the illumination beam into an image beam. The projection lens projects the image beam to the outside of the projector to form an imaged image. The processor receives an input image signal from the display card, and generates a control signal corresponding to the input image signal according to a refresh rate of the input image signal. When the refresh rate is greater than a threshold, the imaged image has a first resolution. When the refresh rate is less than the threshold, the light valve performs a pixel shifting operation, so that the imaged image has a second resolution. The first resolution is less than the second resolution.

  • Patent number: 11128817
Abstract: Enhanced passthrough images are generated and displayed. A current visibility condition of an environment is determined. Based on the current visibility condition, a first camera or a second camera, which detect light spanning different ranges of illuminance, is selected to generate a passthrough image of the environment. The selected camera is then caused to generate the passthrough image. Additionally, a third camera, which is structured to detect long wave infrared radiation, is caused to generate a thermal image of the environment. Parallax correction is performed by aligning coordinates of the thermal image with corresponding coordinates identified within the passthrough image. Subsequently, the parallax-corrected thermal image is overlaid onto the passthrough image to generate a composite passthrough image, which is then displayed.

  • Patent number: 11122259
Abstract: A test voltage sample and hold circuitry is disclosed in a readout circuitry of an image sensor. This circuitry samples a voltage at demand value based on a ramp voltage shared by the ADC comparators of the readout circuitry. The value of the sampled voltage is controlled by a control circuitry which is able to predict and calculate at what time a ramp generator may carry the demand voltage value. The sampled voltage is held by a hold capacitor during readout of one row and is accessed during the next row by the control circuitry as test data to drive a device under test (DUT) which may be any portion of the image sensor to be tested. Measured data out of the DUT is compared with expected data. Based on the result of the comparison, a signal indicates the pass or fail of the self-test concludes a self-test of the DUT.

  • Patent number: 11115617
Abstract: An apparatus, method and system for connecting High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) devices. A loopback device connects between a first source device and a sink device on a first connection; a second source device connects to the sink device on a second connection. The loopback device manages the first connection, passes transition-minimized differential signaling (TMDS) or fixed-rate link (FRL) signals through to the sink device, and outputs audio received from the sink device on the audio return channel (ARC) or enhanced audio return channel (eARC). In this manner, audio that originates from any source device may be output without requiring a direct connection to the loopback device.

  • Patent number: 11107121
Abstract: Master computing device and method for determining an actual number of impressions provided by a synchronized group of devices comprising the master and one or more slave computing device. The master device transmits a synchronization request to the slave device(s) and determines a number of negative responses received from the slave device(s) in response to the synchronization request. A negative response indicates that one slave device is not capable of displaying digital content. The master device determines a number of displays D capable of displaying digital content based on the number of negative responses received. The master device determines a metric representative of the actual number of impressions provided by the master device and the slave device(s). The metric is calculated based on the number of displays D. The master device transmits the metric to a server and the server calculates the actual number of impressions using the metric.
