  • Patent number: 10055816
Abstract: A pair of cameras having an overlapping field of view is aligned based on images captured by image sensors of the pair of cameras. A pixel shift is identified between the images. Based on the identified pixel shift, a calibration is applied to one or both of the pair of cameras. To determine the pixel shift, the camera applies correlation methods including edge matching. Calibrating the pair of cameras may include adjusting a read window on an image sensor. The pixel shift can also be used to determine a time lag, which can be used to synchronize subsequent image captures.

  • Patent number: 10049605
Abstract: A display apparatus includes an image acquisition unit, an image extraction unit, a registration unit, a display control unit, a coordinate generation unit, and a motion detection unit. The coordinate generation unit generates, based on a detection result of a detection unit configured to detect the position of an object in a three-dimensional space, coordinates of the object in a screen. The motion detection unit detects a motion of the object based the coordinates in the screen generated by the coordinate generation unit. The display control unit displays a first image on the screen. When the motion is detected by the motion detection unit, the display control unit further displays a second image on the screen based on coordinates corresponding to the detected motion, and changes the display of the first image.

  • Patent number: 10051204
Abstract: Embodiments described herein enable a switching device to automatically select AV port(s) coupled to electronic device(s) that a user would like to use to watch and/or listen to content. The AV port(s) may be automatically selected based on receiving a command, determining that a particular remote control device is being used, and/or determining that a particular piece of content has been selected. Upon detection of such events, a source device for providing content is identified from among a plurality of source devices. Thereafter, an AV port from among a plurality of AV ports to which the identified source device is connected is identified. The identified AV port is then selected so that the identified source device becomes connected to an AV port to which a sink device is connected. In this way, the switching device can provide content from the identified source device to the sink device for presentation thereby.

  • Patent number: 10036812
Abstract: Laser 3D imaging techniques include splitting a laser temporally-modulated waveform of bandwidth B and duration D from a laser source into a reference beam and a target beam and directing the target beam onto a target. First data is collected, which indicates amplitude and phase of light relative to the reference beam received at each of a plurality of different times during a duration D at each optical detector of an array of one or more optical detectors perpendicular to the target beam. Steps are repeated for multiple sampling conditions, and the first data for the multiple sampling conditions are synthesized to form one or more synthesized sets. A 3D Fourier transform of each synthesized set forms a digital model of the target for each synthesized set with a down-range resolution based on the bandwidth B.
