  • Patent number: 12114302
Abstract: A method and apparatus may be used to support coordinated and cooperative sectorized transmissions. Power control and clear channel assessment for sectorized transmissions may be used, along with sectorized beacon and associated procedures. Transmissions in a network may be protected by a first access point (AP) sending an omni-directional transmission and a beamformed or sectorized transmission to a station (STA), an overlapping basic service set (OBSS) confirming a spatially orthogonal (SO) condition based on the omni-directional transmission, and a second AP monitoring the omni-directional transmission and confirming the SO condition. The STA may be configured to receive a request-to-send (RTS) frame indicating data is available for transmission, and transmit a cooperative sectorized (CS) clear-to-send (CTS) frame indicating an ability for multiple AP reception.

  • Patent number: 12102877
Abstract: Some existing health and fitness apps map athletic activity and track that activity over time and present to the athlete various aggregations of their activity. Other existing health and fitness apps create training schedules for the athlete to achieve a fitness goal. However, the training schedules provided by these apps are static in nature and provide a fixed quantity and type of exercise within a fixed schedule for the athlete to accomplish. The presently disclosed virtual athletic coach offers dynamic training schedules that can make incremental adjustments based on an athlete's performance to the training schedule over time.

  • Patent number: 12073682
Abstract: The innovations herein concern a frontend game development platform, wherein games developed by the platform comprise: a composable state machine having a plurality of states, wherein each of the plurality of states supports customizable game logic and a plurality of triggers. In prior art GDK slot game engines, most games had a fairly rigid structure that did not easily accommodate custom game developer functionality. The innovations presented herein thus provide a more flexible frontend game (e.g., slot game) development platform and a game engine that provides developers with the ability to easily insert their own custom logic steps or stages into outcome calculation and game flow/presentation. In addition, the improved game engine will provide developers the ability to have game execution flow defined externally—and in a way that it may be modified without the need for a recompilation of the configuration files and/or state machines with each code modification.

  • Patent number: 12062418
Abstract: A dataset is obtained comprising data blocks, each representing a different characteristic, for a plurality of cells across a plurality of bins, each bin representing a different portion of a reference sequence. Cells are clustered on one such characteristic across the bins thereby forming a tree that includes root, intermediate, and terminal nodes, where the cells are terminal nodes and intermediate nodes have daughter nodes, themselves being intermediate nodes or a cell. A subset of the tree is displayed that includes the root and leaves, each leaf representing an intermediate node or a cell. A heat map of the characteristic is also displayed, the map including a segment for each leaf, across the bins. When a segment represents an intermediate node, it is an average of the characteristic across daughters of the node. Graphs of characteristics for the root across the bins are also displayed.
