Abstract: Various aspects are described herein for implementing in-game advertising, in-game product placement, and in-game promotion techniques in wager-based games conducted at an electronic gaming device of a casino gaming network. These techniques provide the ability for traditional video-type wager-based gaming machines (such as those deployed at casino gaming establishments) to be quickly and easily converted to wager-based games which support in-game advertising while still satisfying the strict regulatory compliance rules and regulations governing wager-based gaming.

Abstract: A system and method for motion capture to efficiently render in-game objects, including characters, and controlling animation of characters and non-player characters. In some embodiments, the motion capture includes a machine learning model that can take as inputs information about the hand pose of a person from multiple sensors over a period of time and generates a highly probable hand pose prediction from that information, based on what it learns from a previously captured dataset of high quality sample motion captures. The systems and methods described herein overcome the imprecision conventional optical marker pipelines for the case of finger movement, where the slightest imprecision yields results that are not good enough for production.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention set forth systems, apparatuses and methods for providing gaming devices having a poker mystery feature. Accordingly, a gaming device can be configured to have sub-symbol overlays that specify a replication feature that may replicate a card associated with the sub-symbol overlay and either replace a specified card that is adjacent to the card associated with the sub-symbol overlay, or create a multi-indicia card using the replication. Replication may mean a direct copy of the card associated with the sub-symbol overlay or may mean providing a card that is related to the card associated with the sub-symbol overlay according to predefined rules.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for adaptively controlling audio associated with users. In an audio system configured to output audio to a user of the system, reference data may be obtained and processed, and one or more audio control settings may be determined, based on the processing of the reference data, for adjusting audio in the system, with at least one of the one or more audio control settings configured to adjust or modify a voice associated with the user. The reference data may be obtained from a database associated with operation of the system by the user. The reference data may include a reference audio, with the reference audio being processed to determine at least one of the one or more audio control settings based on characteristics and/or parameters of the reference audio.

Abstract: A method of forming an article of apparel having a sensor system includes extruding one or more polymeric materials onto the article of apparel to form one or a plurality of sensors. The polymeric material(s) may have a conductive particulate material dispersed therein. Conductive leads connecting the sensors to a port may also be formed of a polymeric material having a conductive particulate material dispersed therein. The conductive material may be dispersed in the sensor(s) at a first dispersion density and in the leads at a second dispersion density. Each of the sensors is configured to increase in resistance when deformed under pressure, which is detected by a module connected to the port. The second dispersion density is such that each of the leads has sufficient conductivity that the leads are configured to conduct an electronic signal between each sensor and the port in any state of deformation.

The systems and methods can be used to provide an evaluation sequence that can determine and evaluate the performance level of a person at one or more basketball skills. The evaluation sequence for the person can include a first sequence of actions that are the same each person being evaluated for a particular skill and a second sequence of actions that is based on the results of the first sequence and may be different for each person. Once the first and second sequences have been completed by the person, the system can determine a performance level for the person for the skills being evaluated.
