A separation is maintained between the tested content and the untested content with a software construct that prevents the untested content from changing the tested content.

Abstract: Systems and methods for capturing participant likeness for a video game character are disclosed. In some embodiments, a method comprises receiving, at a pose generation system, multiple videos of one or more live events, the multiple videos recorded from a plurality of camera angles. A target participant may be identified, at the pose generation system, in the multiple videos. A set of poses may be generated, at the pose generation system, of the target participant from the multiple videos, the set of poses associated with a movement type or game stimulus. The set of poses may be received, at a model processing system, from the pose generation system. The method may further comprise generating, at the model processing system, a graphic dataset based on the set of poses, and storing, at the model processing system, the graphic dataset to assist in rendering gameplay of a video game.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing hybrid keno or lotto games to online players. A keno or lotto server receives electronic indications of actual keno or lotto balls drawn by a person or a ball drawing machine from a set of physical keno or lotto balls and eliminates electronic keno or lotto ball values from an electronic set of keno or lotto ball values corresponding to the physical keno or lotto balls stored in a memory. The game server further randomly selects electronic keno or lotto ball values from the electronic set of keno or lotto ball values stored in memory, less any electronic ball values corresponding to physical keno or lotto balls already drawn by the person or ball drawing machine. Finally, electronic keno or lotto ball values not already drawn by the live person or ball drawing machine are provided to the online players.

Abstract: A game system has one or more network-connected servers executing system software (SSW) on one or more processors from a non-transitory medium, providing virtual reality games for players logged in to the system to select and play, and a plurality of mobile digital devices in use by players logged in to the system, associated by the system with individual player identity, executing a mobile application (MA) enabled to interact with the SSW, and equipped with GPS tracking. The MA reports GPS coordinates for individual ones of the plurality of players to the SSW periodically, and the SSW identifies clusters of players based on pre-programmed geography limitations, and uses cluster data for various interactions between players and the system, and between players and other players.
Abstract: A gaming machine is provided, including a display, a credit input device, a non-transitory memory, and a processor. The display is configurable to selectively present a centrally determined game and a non-centrally determined game. The credit input device is used to establish a credit balance for wagering on the centrally determined game and the non-centrally determined game. Abstract: Generally, described are methods, apparatuses and systems for a recommendation engine which determines a recommendation based upon a terrestrial parameter and an overall factor unrelated to the terrestrial parameter. The recommendation engine may receive as inputs: (1) some data relating to the terrestrial parameter and (2) some data relating to user operation of a mechanical device. An overall factor may be calculated or obtained, at least in part, from the data relating to user operation of the mechanical device. And based upon the data relating to the terrestrial parameter and the overall factor, a recommendation may be determined and transmitted. In one embodiment, as part of the transmission process, the recommendation may be displayed to a user requesting the recommendation.
Abstract: A virtual reality tracking system accurately determines one or more controller orientations using data from tracking cameras and/or an inertial measurement unit (IMU) embedded in each controller. Each controller has two or more distinctive light-emitting tracking markers. The tracking system determines the locations of the tracking markers based on the location of tracking markers in tracking camera's images. The tracking system determines the controller orientation using the locations of the tracking markers and orientation data from the IMU. When the camera views of the markers are obstructed the tracking system relies solely on the less-accurate orientation data from the IMU.
Abstract: A first content item instance may be played by one or more participants and may be presented by one or more first compute nodes to the one or more participants. Information associated with the first content item instance may be collected. The information may include, for example, game state, user inputs, and other information associated with the first content item instance. The information may be provided as input to a second content item instance executing at one or more second compute nodes. Audio and/or video information output by the second content item instance may then be collected, and data including the collected information may be transmitted to one or more third compute nodes for presentation to spectators. Spectator feedback may be received and provided back to the first content item instance, which may be presented based, at least in part, on the spectator feedback.
