The instantaneous-interruption prevention device includes a latch part that operates so as to come into contact with a hook button of a telephone when receiving an impact, and the latch part stops motion of the hook button by coming into contact with the hook button.

Abstract: Rectilinear viewport extraction from a region of a wide field of view is described using messaging in the video transmission field. Some embodiments pertain to a method that includes receiving a wide field of view video, receiving position data from a remote coupled user device, selecting a region of interest in the video based on the received position data, extracting the region of interest from the video, generating region metadata describing the extracted region of interest, encoding the extracted region of interest of the video, and transmitting the encoded video with the region metadata to the user device.

Abstract: A system for providing additional information to called parties, the system comprises a base unit device for sending additional information to called parties, the base unit comprises a microprocessor, at least one Ethernet port, at least one telephone port, a first transceiver, and a first wireless antenna; and a display unit for receiving the additional information from the base unit device and displaying the additional information to the called parties, the display unit comprises a second transceiver, a liquid crystal display, a second wireless antenna, and a set of keys.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes a system, method, and computer-readable medium for providing audio announcement of communications to a called party in a communication network. The method includes receiving communication from a calling party and performing a lookup of information relating to the calling party in a database via an Internet Protocol connection based on an identifier of at least one of the calling party and the called party. The information comprises one or more audio files. The method then provides the audio announcement to a called party based on the audio files.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to multicomputer processing and authentication of user data associated with telephone calls. A call security assessment computing platform may receive data associated with a telephone call made from a user computing device. Subsequently, the call security assessment computing platform may parse the received data to identify header information in a Session Initial Protocol (SIP) header. The platform then may analyze the header information to generate a call fingerprint for the telephone call. This call fingerprint may then be transmitted to one or more call authentication computing platforms, which return one or more call security responses that may further characterize security features of the telephone call. The call fingerprint and the call security responses may then be used to determine a call security score, which may be transmitted in a notification to a call handling system in order to adjust how the call is handled.

Abstract: A mobile phone stations is disclosed. In general, in one aspect, the mobile phone station connects to a smartphone for sending and receiving data therebetween. Further, the mobile phone station includes a dial pad for placing outgoing calls via the smartphone and answering incoming calls received at the smartphone. Also, the mobile phone station includes a charging mechanism for charging the smartphone. In use during an active call at the smartphone, the mobile phone station allows a user to seamlessly switch between two or more of a handset, a speakerphone, and a headset without requiring any user interaction with the smartphone.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for voice transmission and reception by a browser and a voice intercom system are provided. The method for voice transmission by a browser includes: collecting first voice data through a built-in audio collection interface of the browser (S101); obtaining a first voice sampling parameter that can be utilized by a target device (S102) to process voice data; sampling the first voice data based on the first voice sampling parameter to obtain target voice data (S103); and transmitting the target voice data to the target device (S104).
