Abstract: A disposable dental flossing device is provided for improved handling, comprised of a floss segment with two tightly rolled paper handles at each end. The floss runs the entire length of the device and is anchored at each end by cutting and heating the floss. A section of exposed floss separates the two handles.

Abstract: A loop-shaped hair holding device is made from ingredients including 40 wt % of butadiene, 10 wt % of polyethylene, 3 wt % of polypropylene, 15 wt % of paraffin oil, 12 wt % of styrene, 15 wt % of silicone, 3 wt % of a stabilizer, and 2 wt % of a cross linking agent. The weight of each of the ingredients has a margin of error of 5%. The loop-shaped hair holding device has good surface unctuousness, good toughness, and high elasticity to avoid deformation.

Abstract: An apparatus for styling hair includes a first electrode and a second electrode spaced apart from the first electrode. An electrolyte reservoir can be disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode, and is configured to maintain a volume of an electrolyte between the first electrode and the second electrode. A control module is electrically coupled to the first electrode and the second electrode. The control module is operable to bias the first electrode at a first potential and the second electrode at a second potential to create an electrical potential difference between the first electrode and the second electrode. The electrical potential difference is configured to produce an electrolysis zone in the electrolyte disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode. The electrolysis zone is configured to style hair disposed in the electrolysis zone between the first electrode and the second electrode.

Abstract: A nail styling device provides for applying a lacquer to a nail of a digit. A cuticle guard and a tip guard protect the cuticle and skin to the sides of and under the distal edge of the nail. A mold plate has a curved inner surface corresponding to a curvature of the nail and is attached to the cuticle guard by a joint. A base adjustably fixable to the cuticle guard allows for the device to be removably fixable to a distal portion of the digit. A method of using the device provides for first applying a lacquer to an inner surface of the mold plate and, with the device locked in place on the digit, rotation of the mold plate to bring the lacquer into contact with a top portion of the nail.

Abstract: A cosmetic carrying case having a pair of clamshell members hinged together at a bottom edge thereof such that the members, when closed, form an interior chamber for containing cosmetics materials and, when open, provide access to the interior chamber, divided into two compartments. One of the compartments may include a magnetic surface adapted to removably secure cosmetic pans. A mirror may be pivotally combined with one of the interior compartments. One of the interior compartments may contain elastic straps for retaining cosmetic articles in a fixed position.

Abstract: Provided are a garment to be worn on a human head and a method of creating a garment to be worn on a human head. The method includes creating a desired hair pattern on a head of a model, and optically capturing an image of the desired hair pattern. The captured image is then printed or otherwise applied onto a region of material sized to be worn on the human head of a person who is to wear the garment.

Abstract: A gelatinize hairdressing foil and its preparation method are disclosed. One surface of said gelatinize hairdressing foil is a dark side, which contacts with hair, and an other surface of said gelatinize hairdressing foil is a bright side. Said dark side is provided with a zonal gelatinize layer. An anti-adhesive layer can be provided on said bright side. The hairdressing foil can contain an aluminum foil, can be provided with a release layer on said dark side, and can be provided with aluminum foils on both surfaces and a plastic film between said two aluminum foils. When quiff is put on said dark side, it is adhered by the release layer on the dark side. Therefore, the quiff is apt to form a layer instead of a tangle, and when liquid medicine for perming and dyeing is coated on hair, each hair could be coated with said liquid medicine.

Abstract: A method for forming a combination of natural and artificial hair on a person's head without a braid foundation includes the steps of providing a wefted hair extension having artificial hair, a sew-in needle and a thread pair extending therefrom. The method includes parting the person's natural hair so as to form a plurality of adjacent hair root sections forming a starter knot about a starter root section by looping the thread pair about the starter root section using the sew-in needle. A foundation is created laterally across a person's head along the part line by repeatedly looping the thread pair around respective hair root sections between the starter and ending root sections. Then, the wefted hair extension is sewn to the foundation track using the sew-in needle and the thread pair so as to form a combination of natural and artificial hair extending from the person's head.
