  • Patent number: 10499755
Abstract: A bed covering having a plurality of layers between which is an air cavity and having at least one air inlet in fluid communication with the air cavity. The layers have folds and have fasteners. The fasteners may fasten and unfasten and include respective fastener components that self-close when brought together to engage each other and that disengage to separate from each other. The fastener components when fastened to each other close the at least one air inlet and when unfastened from each other open the at least on air inlet. An elastic band is also provided on the periphery to wrap around an air tube when inserted into the at least one air inlet and apply an elastic force under tension to retain the same.

  • Patent number: 10485356
Abstract: A foldable mattress includes a mattress body having a top layer and a bottom layer, a core mattress support disposed between the top and bottom layers within a center portion of the mattress body, an air valve operatively coupled at the mattress body for inflating the mattress body from a folded state to an unfolded state, and a peripheral mattress support disposed at a peripheral portion of the mattress body when the mattress body is in the unfolded state. At the folded state, the mattress body is air-vacuumed that the top layer is overlapped on the bottom layer to compress the core mattress support therebetween to minimize a thickness of the mattress body. At the unfolded state, the mattress body is inflated to uncompress the core mattress support so as to fully expand the mattress body.

  • Patent number: 10413099
Abstract: A simulated duvet cover system provides an easily-manufactured and assembled construction in which a cover layer, defined by top and bottom fabric sheets with pockets defined therebetween, is configured to be removably coupled to a separate fill layer, defined by a blanket or comforter. The bottom fabric sheet extends inwardly from the periphery of the top fabric sheet to surround a central opening, which the fill layer can be inserted through and then tucked into the pockets. A further backing layer may be connected to the cover layer with non-metallic and non-rigid fasteners such as fabric knot buttons, to cover the central opening. The system hides the appearance of the fill layer when in use, thereby providing a similar appearance to a conventional duvet cover, while still allowing for easy removal and cleaning of the system with industrial laundering equipment or the like.

  • Patent number: 10405665
Abstract: A comfort layer for a bedding or seating product has slow-acting pockets characterized by the individual springs of the comfort layer being pocketed with either semi-impermeable or impermeable fabric. Each seam joining opposed plies of fabric around each of the coil springs of the comfort layer may be segmented, allowing air to flow between the segments, thereby increasing the luxury “feel” of the comfort layer. The method of making the comfort layer includes compressing the springs and creating pockets with a welding horn and an anvil.

  • Patent number: 10390627
Abstract: A bed frame includes legs, bars and wooden slats. Each leg has first and second sides that meet each other at an edge. A first slot is disposed on the first side adjacent to the edge, and a second slot is disposed on the second side adjacent to the edge. Each bar has two wedge inserts. A first wedge on a lateral bar fits into the first slot, and a second wedge on a longitudinal bar fits into the second slot. The lateral bar is perpendicular to the leg while the first wedge is lodged in the first slot, and the longitudinal bar is perpendicular to the leg while the second wedge is lodged in the second slot. The first slot and the second slot are disposed between the lateral bar and the longitudinal bar while the first and second wedge inserts are lodged in the first and second slots.

  • Patent number: 10376430
Abstract: An inflatable stretcher for carrying and conveniently transferring a patient to another patient carrying device includes an air mattress having an upper sheet member and a longitudinally perforated lower sheet member, which are fixedly connected to each other along their peripheral edges to form an inflatable air bag. The air mattress has at least one air inlet, via which an air hose is communicably connected to the air bag. The air mattress includes at least one limiting member located in the vicinity of the air inlet. The limiting member defines a binding space, which is changeable in size to correspond to a size of the air hose, such that the limiting member can always be fitly set or wrapped around the air hose to hold the air hose to the air mattress even if the air hose has a specification not matching the air inlet on the air mattress.

  • Patent number: 10376073
Abstract: A foldout cabinet bed has two faces that fold out from a vertical position to a horizontal position, thereby creating a surface that can be used for sleeping. Each face has two side rails for enclosing an area for placing a mattress. The rails are dimensionally asymmetrical such that one of the faces has a smaller rail height/depth than the adjacent rail on the other face. The shorter rail height is smaller than the thickness of the mattress, thus allowing a user to comfortably sit on the edge of the mattress. The taller rail height is larger than the thickness of the mattress and provides a headboard.

  • Patent number: 10362879
Abstract: A novel bed frame is assembled by sliding the ends of hollow metal bars into narrow slots cut into other hollow metal bars. A first bar has an L-shaped first slot. A second bar has a U-shaped second slot and L-shaped third slot, both spanning two adjacent sides of the second bar. An end of the first bar is inserted into the U-shaped second slot, whose width is less than twice the thickness of the metal from which the first bar is made. A portion of the L-shaped first slot aligns with a portion of the L-shaped third slot when the first bar slides into the U-shaped second slot. The top of the third bar is inserted into the aligned first and third slots. The first bar is a longitudinal bar, and the second bar is a lateral bar of the bed frame. The third bar is a support leg.
