Abstract: The present disclosure provides nicotine free anti-smoking compositions comprising synergistic combination of herbal ingredients. In a preferred embodiment of the present disclosure, the anti-smoking composition can include combination of at least two herbs selected from the group consisting of Kapikachu, Ashwagandha, Tulsi, Haridra, Amla, Gokshura, Brahmi, Yashtimadhu, Sunthi, Lavang, Bala, Vidarikand, Jatanamsi, Shatavari, and Musli. In another preferred embodiment of the disclosure, the anti-smoking composition can further include one or more additional herbs selected from the group consisting of Guduchi, Draksha, Sirish, Arjuna, Mandukparni, Vasa, Karpoor, Kankol, Kantakari and Shigru. The formulation(s) in accordance with embodiments of the present disclosure not only provides anti-smoking effect but also treat side-effects and/or ailments arising from smoking.
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for preparing an extract of Chrysanthemum morifolium with an effect of treating skin diseases, including: (a) performing an extraction procedure on Chrysanthemum morifolium with an extraction solvent to obtain an extract solution; and (b) adding at least one glycoside hydrolases to the extract solution to make an enzyme reaction occur to produce a precipitate, wherein the precipitate is the extract of Chrysanthemum morifolium with an effect of treating skin diseases.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the field of health care products, disclosing a powder made from inulin, FOLIUM CYCLOCARYA PALIURUS, RHIZOMA DIOSCOREA OPPOSITE, RADIX ASTRAGALUS MEMBRANACEUS, CAULIS DENDROBIUM and RADIX ET RHIZOMA SALVIA MILTIORRHIZA. The raw materials of the powder are all from natural Chinese herbal medicine without addition of excipient. In addition, dosage required for the powder is small; it can be directly dissolved in water for taking; it is soluble in cold water and can be absorbed quickly. The method for preparing the powder in the present disclosure is simple and suitable for large-scale production. Also, it is easy to be carried. The powder obtained has a good stability and long storage time. Experiments show that the powder of the present disclosure has greatly hypoglycemic and hypolipidemic effects, therefore can be used to prepare the health care foods having hypoglycemic and hypolipidemic effect.

Abstract: Compositions are taught that may comprise active components of one or more types of Basidiomycotina that belong to polyporaceae Basidiomycotina and active components of the root of a plant that belongs to Araliaceae. Such compositions have shown hypoglycemic effects and anti-tumor activity. More preferably, the Basidiomycotina may be Ganoderma Lucidum and/or Coriolus versicolor and the plant that belongs to Araliaceae may be medicinal ginseng, e.g. Panax ginseng and/or Panax japonicus. Preferably, an aqueous solution of the composition has an oxidation-reduction potential of less than about 1230 mV, more preferably less than about 900 mV and most preferably less than about 330 mV. Methods for making such compositions are also taught and may include hot water extraction of the above-mentioned components. Furthermore, methods for treating patients are also taught and include administering a therapeutically effective amount of one or more of the present compositions.
