  • Patent number: 11431812
Abstract: An online software platform (OSP) produces, by applying resource digital rules to previous relationship instance data of a primary entity data associated with one or more secondary entities of the domain, a domain resource regarding the domain. The OSP may then determine, by applying an alignment digital rule of the domain to the relationship instance data and the domain resource, whether or not an alignment condition of the domain is met, which indicates whether resources for relationship instances of the primary entity should have been remitted to the domain. If the alignment condition is not met, then the OSP may assemble proposal components, and communicate some of them to the domain on behalf of the primary entity to remit the resources, without initially communicating those proposal components that would reveal the identity of the primary entity.

  • Patent number: 11424981
Abstract: An example system includes a number of nodes each including a processor and a non-transitory machine readable medium storing a copy of an operating system image. Each copy of the operating system image may include a minimum set of artifacts of a cloud platform application and lifecycle manager program instructions that when executed by any of the nodes instantiate a lifecycle manager for the respective node. The lifecycle manager may be configured to in response to receiving a platform cluster creation request automatically establish a cloud platform of the cloud platform application including the respective node as a sole member and then invite others of the nodes to join the cloud platform. The lifecycle manager may also be configured to in response to receiving an invitation to join an established cloud platform of the cloud platform application and automatically integrate the respective node into the established cloud platform.

  • Patent number: 11424977
Abstract: This disclosure relates to method and system for performing effective orchestration of cognitive functions (CFs) in a distributed heterogeneous communication network. In one embodiment, the method may include determining a fault or a performance issue and associated causes, related to a set of network slices in the distributed heterogeneous communication network or a set of services across the set of network slices, using CFs associated with each of the set of services or with each of the set of network slices. The method may further include determining possible resolutions for the fault or the performance issue based on the associated causes, identifying a resolution by evaluating each of the possible resolutions for at least one of a suitability to or an impact on the set of services or the set of network slices, and implementing the resolution on one or more affected network segments of the set of network slices.

  • Patent number: 11411807
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and system for detecting and mitigating cabling issues with devices connected in industrial redundant networks. An agent runs on each device and generates information about traffic received at the corresponding device. The agent running on a node generates indicators of traffic received at each port, and error rates for traffic at each port. The agent running on a switch generates information about switch misconfiguration by collecting device identifiers for each port of the switch. The agents send the information to a network manager, which determines switch misconfigurations and wrong cabling from the received information. The network manager also mitigates cabling issues by sending a signal to the affected device(s) or sending a communication to mitigate the issue.

  • Patent number: 11388073
Abstract: In computing networks, end-to-end loss distributions are estimated according to the present disclosure. The loss distributions may be calculated based on loss values reported by nodes in the network along an end-to-end communication path, which may be identified by a route tracing process. The loss values for each node in the path for a given time window may be reduced by a rounding process, and the reduced values for adjacent nodes in the path may be iteratively multiplied with one another in a pairwise manner to generate an end-to-end loss value vector, where the resulting product from each iteration may be reduced by the rounding process. A graphical or other representation of the values in the end-to-end loss value vector indicating a distribution of losses experienced along the path may be output via a user interface.

  • Patent number: 11342746
Abstract: Systems include one or more critical datacenter connected to behind-the-meter flexible datacenters. The critical datacenter is powered by grid power and not necessarily collocated with the flexible datacenters, which are powered “behind the meter.” When a computational operation to be performed at the critical datacenter is identified and determined that it can be performed more efficiently or advantageously at a flexible datacenter, the computational operation is instead obtained by the flexible datacenters for performance. The critical datacenter and flexible datacenters preferably share a dedicated communication pathway to enable high-bandwidth, low-latency, secure data transmissions. A queue system may be used to organize computational operations waiting for distribution to either the critical datacenter or the flexible datacenter.

  • Patent number: 11323496
Abstract: In some embodiments, a distributed computer network has a server node, a leader node, and a plurality of participant nodes that communicate via a communications network. During a first phase, the leader node generates a leader performance, each participant node receives and renders the leader performance and generates a corresponding participant performance, and the server node receives the leader performance and the participant performances and generates one or more group performances, each including multiple, synchronized performances. During a second phase, the server node transmits the one or more group performances to the participant nodes, and each participant node receives and renders a group performance, thereby allowing a corresponding participant at each participant node to perform along with the rendering of the corresponding group performance.

  • Patent number: 11303547
Abstract: An information management method collects log information of one or more home electrical apparatuses corresponding to service providers. Display screen data is generated which indicates a status of the log information. The display screen data includes groups of information which each contain information on an apparatus, a service provider corresponding to the apparatus, and log information output from the apparatus. Provision of the log information of each group is individually selectable. The display screen data is provided via a network to a display terminal that performs access to a server device. Information is received from the display terminal, which indicates that selection on whether or not provision of the log information is performed. Provision of the log information is not performed on the selected group when a determination is made that refusal of provision of the log information on the selected group is performed.

  • Patent number: 11296967
Abstract: Embodiments are directed monitoring network traffic using network monitoring computers. Metrics may be determined based on monitoring network traffic associated with entities in the network such that the metrics may be included in profiles associated each entity. The profiles may be compared with other profiles in a context database based on the metrics included in each profile and each other profile. In response to the profiles being unmatched by other profiles one or more active probes may be performed to collect other metrics that may be used to update profiles. In response to the one or more profiles being matched by the other profiles in the context database, a timestamp associated with the other profiles may be updated to a current time value. Reports that include information associated with the entities and the profiles or the updated profiles may be generated.
