  • Patent number: 10277534
Abstract: A system may receive, by a switching component of the system, network traffic to be provided to an I/O component of the network device. The system may route, by the switching component, the network traffic to the I/O component based on whether the I/O component is connected to the switching component via the first connections and/or via second connections. The first connections may be connections via a chassis of the system. The second connections may be connections via a connector component that is removable from the switching component. The network traffic may be routed via the first connections and the second connections when the I/O component is connected via the first connections and the second connections. The network traffic may be routed via the first connections and not via the second connections when the I/O component is connected via the first connections and not via the second connections.

  • Patent number: 10263750
Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and computer-readable media related to cross indication of queue size in a reverse direction protocol. In some embodiments, a reverse direction (RD) grantor may transmit a frame to an RD responder. The RD responder may identify data to be transmitted to the RD grantor based on the received frame. The RD responder may generate a frame that may comprise a plurality of sub-frames. The RD responder may set a sub-field in each of the sub-frames indicating whether there is data to transmit. The RD responder may also set a second sub-field that may indicate a priority or traffic stream associated with the data to be transmitted. The RD responder may transmit the frame (and associated sub-frames) to the RD grantor.

  • Patent number: 10264527
Abstract: A system, device and method are described for operating a communication device communicating with a wireless network. The method comprises in a power save mode wherein a communication subsystem of the communication device has been deactivated: for a first period beginning at a first instance, re-activating the subsystem, executing an action relating to a link layer connection condition, and then de-activating the subsystem; and for a second period beginning at a second instance, re-activating the subsystem, executing an action relating to a network layer connection condition, and then de-activating the subsystem. For the method, the first period is repeated on a cycle based on a first frequency timed to allow the communication device to process a beacon signal from the wireless network; and the second period is repeated on a cycle based on a second frequency of occurrence of an Address Resolution Protocol request in the wireless network.

  • Patent number: 10250368
Abstract: A method for uplink transmission in a wireless communication system, the method includes determining, by a user equipment (UE), whether the first uplink signal to be transmitted toward a first cell belonging to a first timing advance group (TAG) at an nth subframe overlaps the second uplink signal to be transmitted toward a second cell belonging to a second TAG at an (n+1)st subframe; dropping, by the UE, the first uplink signal at the nth subframe, if a total transmission power including the first and second uplink signals exceeds a maximum transmit power, where n is an integer?1; and transmitting the second uplink signal without the first uplink signal which is dropped.

  • Patent number: 10225832
Abstract: A macrocell base station controls to reduce interference between cells by a downlink signal of the macrocell base station with specific timing, the interference which a downlink signal of a low transmission power cell suffers for a wireless terminal. A low transmission power cell base station decides measurement timing with which the wireless terminal measures reception quality of the low transmission power cell based on information about the specific timing, and sends a setting message including a parameter according to the measurement timing to the wireless terminal. The wireless terminal measures reception quality with the measurement timing indicated by the parameter, and when the wireless terminal satisfies a condition for executing an event based on the measured result, the wireless terminal sends a reception quality measurement message including information indicating that the measurement is made with the measurement timing to the low transmission power cell base station.

Abstract: A system and methods are provided herein for verifying proof of transit of traffic through a plurality of network nodes in a network. In one embodiment, a method is provided in which information is obtained about a packet at a network node in a network. The information includes in-band metadata. Verification information is read from the in-band metadata. The verification information for use in verifying a path of the packet in the network. Updated verification information is generated from the verification information read from the packet. The updated verification information is written to the in-band metadata of the packet, and the packet is forwarded from the network node in the network.

  • Patent number: 10178577
Abstract: In a wireless communication terminal in a wireless communication system for performing a control not to transmit signals, or to transmit signals with a reduction in a transmission power by a part of radio resources for a downlink signal in a cell provided by a base station, the terminal receives control information in generating a report related to a measurement result of the cell provided by the base station, monitors a state of a radio link with an own cell, and performs measurement on reception of the downlink signal. If an instruction for restricting the measurement to a part of the radio resources is included in the control information from the base station after the radio link failure occurs, the terminal generates and transmits a radio link failure report including the measurement result in the radio resources as instructed when the radio link failure occurs.

  • Patent number: 10142872
Abstract: A measurement method and device for wireless network communication system is disclosed. The method enables operators to use recording information to detect whether there is any problem in network and to perform some necessary optimizing work by enabling user equipment (UE) to automatically record some measurement logs and to periodically report them to the network. Because the information is automatically collected by the UE, the method effectively reduces the workload and cost devotion which is needed for network measurement by manual road measurement. The method enables the operators to obtain measurement information of geography areas that can not be obtained in ordinary road measurement because the UE is randomly distributed at any position in the network.
