Abstract: A system and method for matching contexts of media files in which a first media data file is selected by use of a least distance algorithm for a number of parameters associated with at least one context input by a user to correlate with corresponding metadata associated with content of a second media data file in order to provide matched first and second media data files.

Abstract: Systems and methods simulate changes to a User Interface (UI) of a software application. During a setup phase, elements of an original UI are extracted and copied in a mesh indicating their position. An event is received and determined to be of a type simulating a change to the copied UI element. Changes to the UI (e.g., field grouping/arrangement; field labeling; error message adjustment; others) are then simulated in a synchronous manner to allow for user inspection. Changes to corresponding development objects of the software application implicated by the simulation, may be derived and reported in an asynchronous manner. Some embodiments may automatically apply the determined changes to the corresponding development objects in the development system. Simulation implemented according to embodiments may accelerate the UI development process, by allowing various stakeholders to review proposed changes in a collaborative manner at the design gate (d-gate) or other UI review meeting stage.

Abstract: Various systems, methods, and devices related to modifying views of a multi-lead electrocardiogram (ECG), as well as identifying notations associated with the multi-lead ECG, are described. An example method includes displaying graphical elements in a first arrangement. The graphical elements respectively depict electrical signals indicative of an electrical activity of a heart. The example method further includes detecting a signal indicative of a display selection, and, based on the display selection, rearranging the graphical elements from the first arrangement to a second arrangement.

Abstract: A system includes one or more processors and one or more computer-readable storage mediums storing instructions that cause the one or more processors to receive a content package including a plurality of menu items, a concierge item, and a plurality of content items, display the concierge item and the menu items within a first region of a screen of a billboard computing device, display a first content item within a second region of the screen, detect an interaction with a menu item, morph the concierge item from a first format to a second format, and display a message within the second region based on the interaction with the menu item, where the billboard computing device displays the concierge item of the first display format as a static object and displays the concierge item of the second display format as an animated object.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes a wireless microphone system that allows one or more microphones to wirelessly communicate with a receiver. Additionally, the wireless microphone system may allow for a plurality of microphones to be used interchangeably with the receiver. To ensure communication between the receiver and the one or more microphones, the receiver may occasionally transmit a synchronization signal to the one or more microphones. In response to receiving the synchronization signal, at least one of the one or more microphones may determine that a clock of the at least one microphone is drifting from the master audio clock of the receiver. The at least one microphone may then adjust the microphone's audio clock to re-synchronize the audio clock of the microphone with the master audio clock of the receiver.

Abstract: The technology disclosed herein includes a user interface for viewing and combining media items into a video. An example method includes presenting a user interface that displays media items in a first portion of the user interface; receiving user input in the first portion that comprises a selection of a first media item; upon receiving the user input, adding the first media item to a set of selected media items in a second portion of the user interface, and presenting a selectable control element in the second portion of the user interface, wherein the control element enables a user to initiate an operation pertaining to the creation of the video based on the set of selected media items, and creating the video based on video content of the set of selected media items.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method for developing a virtual programmable logic controller (PLC) application using a graphical user interface (GUI) is disclosed. The method including generating the virtual PLC application comprising at least two objects arranged in at least a horizontal section, wherein the horizontal section is configured to execute the two objects at the same time, and wherein at least one of the two objects uses a template that specifies mappings between a first data format of first data associated with a first data source and a second data format of second data associated with a third-party application. The method also including executing the virtual PLC application by: identifying when a change has been made to the first data, and converting, via the at least one of the two objects using the template, the first data having the first data format to the second data having the second data format.

Abstract: A recommended display layout and recommended content can be provided to a system for optimizing and personalizing the home screen of an application or special purpose computing device. The recommended display layout and recommended content can be generated by an advanced intelligence system that is trained to generate the recommendations based on input including display parameters, a user profile associated with the application or special purpose computing device, and a substrate profile. Other profiles may be used to further personalize the home screen including social media profiles, browsing profiles, productivity application profiles, and the like.

Abstract: An audio podcast distribution system includes a server configured to aggregate and store podcast audio files in a database, and a computing device in communication with the server. The computing device has a processor and a display coupled to the processor. The processor is configured to render an audio playback GUI on the display for playing a given podcast audio file from the database. The audio playback GUI includes a playback control user input, and an audio snippet creation user input. The processor is configured to when the audio snippet creation user input is activated, render an audio snippet creation GUI for the server to generate an audio snippet of the given podcast audio file, and add the audio snippet of the given podcast audio file to the database.

Abstract: A first playback device can include a wireless network interface, an audio input interface, one or more processors, and data storage. The data storage stores instructions that, when executed by the processors, cause the first playback device to determine a first radio frequency (RF) energy level associated with RF signal communications from a second playback device to the first playback device. The first playback device modifies a threshold RF energy level for holding off transmissions by the first playback device based on the first RF energy level. The first playback device receives multi-channel audio content via the audio input interface and detects an ambient RF energy level.

Abstract: Example systems, devices, media, and methods are described for controlling one or more virtual elements on a display in response to hand gestures detected by an eyewear device that is capturing frames of video data with its camera system. An image processing system detects a hand and presents a menu icon on the display in accordance with a detected current hand location. The image processing system detects a series of hand shapes in the captured frames of video data and determines whether the detected hand shapes match any of a plurality of predefined hand gestures stored in a hand gesture library. In response to a match, the method includes executing an action in accordance with the matching hand gesture. In response to an opening gesture, an element animation system presents one or more graphical elements incrementally moving along a path extending away from the menu icon. A closing hand gesture causes the elements to retreat along the path toward the menu icon.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for presenting subtitles. The systems and methods include accessing, by a user device, a video discovery graphical user interface that includes a plurality of videos; receiving a user input that gradually reduces volume of the user device; determining that the volume of the user device has gradually been reduced by the user input until a mute state has been reached in which audio output of the user device is disabled; and in response to determining that the volume of the user device has gradually been reduced until the mute state has been reached, automatically causing subtitles of a first video of the plurality of videos to be displayed during playback of the first video.

Abstract: Example systems, devices, media, and methods are described for controlling the presentation of one or more virtual or graphical elements on a display in response to bimanual hand gestures detected by an eyewear device that is capturing frames of video data with its camera system. An image processing system detects a first hand and defines an input plane relative to a surface of the detected first hand. The image processing system also detects a series of bimanual hand shapes, including the detected first hand and at least one fingertip of a second hand. In response, the system presents a first movable element on the display at a location that is correlated with the current fingertip location. In addition, the image processing system determines whether the detected series of bimanual hand shapes matches a predefined hand gesture. In response to a matching gesture, the system executes a selecting action of an element nearest the current fingertip location.

Abstract: Techniques are provided for creating a virtual environment that can be used for virtual trainings. The virtual environment is configured so that the environment can be viewed using a head-mounted display. A computer system can receive a learning objective from a client and the computer system can present the client with a series of question strings about the objective. Based on answer strings received from the client, the computer system can add skill frameworks, interactive frameworks, positional information, and timing information to fields in a training plan table. The computer system can receive visual content from the client or retrieve visual content from a visual content database. Using the training plan table, interactive frameworks can be added to visual content to produce a virtual environment.

Abstract: Systems and methods for skipping to playback positions in media content using seek guides are provided. Seek guides may be associated with a media content item. Each seek guide may have a position and a radius. When a user skips to a reference position, a seek guide selector may select a seek guide to use in setting a new playback position. The seek guide selector may use a probabilistic distribution positioned based on the reference position to select a seek guide. Probabilities may be calculated for each seek guide using a cumulative distribution function, and the seek guides may be ranked based on the calculated probabilities. A seek guide may be selected based on the ranking, and a new playback position may be set based on the position of the selected seek guide.
