The one or more processors displaying on a user interface of the personal device an icon corresponding respectively to a classification of the one or more sounds identified from the multiple sources. The one or more processors receiving a selection of a sound from the mixture of the multiple sounds, based on an action by a user of the personal device selecting the icon displayed on the user interface of the personal device, and the one or more processors recording the sound from the mixture of the multiple sounds selected by the user.

Abstract: An method for playing video contents including detecting whether or not a play condition for playing a video content corresponding to a first content block in a video display page is met. When it is detected that the play condition for playing the video content corresponding to the first content block is met, adjusting a player instance corresponding to the video display page to the first content block, and playing the video content corresponding to the first content block through the player instance. The technical solution of the present disclosure simplify a play process of playing a video content, avoid that a user browses information related to the video content after entering into a new detail page by clicking icons on the video display page one by one, and enable the user to directly watch a video content corresponding to a content block on the video display page.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for presenting subtitles. The systems and methods include accessing, by a user device, a video discovery graphical user interface that includes a plurality of videos; receiving a user input that gradually reduces volume of the user device; determining that the volume of the user device has gradually been reduced by the user input until a mute state has been reached in which audio output of the user device is disabled; and in response to determining that the volume of the user device has gradually been reduced until the mute state has been reached, automatically causing subtitles of a first video of the plurality of videos to be displayed during playback of the first video.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide an application display method and a terminal, where the method includes: acquiring a first flicking gesture, where a start position of the first flicking gesture is located in a first preset operating area; and when the terminal detects that the first flicking gesture is a first preset flicking gesture, displaying an application that is in a first state, where the first state includes at least one of the following states: a state of running in the foreground, a state of running in the background, and a state of being buffered in the background. Therefore, a recently used application can be displayed to a user according to a gesture of the user, without a need to dispose a dedicated button, thereby improving operation and control efficiency.

Abstract: A method for moving and orienting an object in a virtual reality or augmented reality environment that uses a movement tool with multiple states that correspond to the actions that a user may take to manipulate the object. The movement tool may have a stored position and orientation that are applied directly to the object without the need for user input; if these parameters are not stored, the movement tool may enter a moving or placing state, and/or an orientation state where the user can set the position or orientation, respectively. Additional movement tool states may include a rotation state and a translation state. State-specific guides or controls may be shown in certain states of the movement tool. These tools may enable a user to perform accurate and intuitive actions to move, scale or rotate an object in an n-dimensional space with millimeter precision.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a web user experience improvement for digital magazines. A digital magazine viewing platform is integrated with a digital magazine publishing platform including features that leverage the integration including user interface arrangement based on viewing habits and ripped content that is insertable into draft digital magazine documents. In some embodiments, a machine learning model categorizes magazine styles and present publishing features based on those magazines viewed or subscribed to by a given user.

Abstract: Technologies are disclosed that enable a computing system to present a structured arrangement for tracking content items on a shared user interface (UI) during a communication session. The structured arrangement is a list that is displayed in a specific region of the shared UI. Inclusion of content items in the list makes it easier for users to locate and interact with those content items throughout the communication session. The ability to create and manipulate the list may be limited to only certain users such as a moderator. Use of this list can promote inclusivity and fairness. For instance, inclusion in the list may prevent content items from being forgotten or ignored. Additionally, the names of users who contributed the content items may be shown in the list thereby providing recognition for those users.

In response to detecting the overlap condition, the first data set and the second data set are processed to identify a first and second set of attributes of the first and second data sets, respectively. A third set of attributes is determined, whereby the third set of attributes is common to the first set of attributes and the second set of attributes. A third window including a third graphic representation is generated and displayed based on the first graphic representation and the third set of attributes.

Abstract: Private and secure autocomplete suggestions are enabled based on a user contacts database, even when an application has not been granted access to the user contacts database. A keyboard process can receive and display suggestions based on input provided via the keyboard. The suggestions are generated based on a contacts database of a user. The suggestions are generated without exposing the contacts database to the application. Suggestions are then displayed to the user without exposing the suggestions to the application. Once a suggestion is selected by a user, the selected suggestion is provided to the application for insertion into a text field.

Letters that do not follow the selected letter are identified and keys for the identified letters are disabled from selection by the user. A multifunction key to allow interruption of the disabled keys upon selection of the letter key is enabled.
