Abstract: A foldable formed wire rack for positioning and supporting conventional pliable plastic bags with handle openings for use as a receptacle for trash or the like and for storing a quantity of pliable plastic bags thereon for future use. The rack is formed of galvanized wire bent to form a side thereof and then butt welded together at the ends to form a closed loop. The sides are additionally formed to pivotly interlock together along their longest dimension by a central offset jog along one of their smaller dimension surfaces, hereinafter referred to as the top for accepting the normal handle openings of the bag. The wire is then coated with a finish such as a coating of plastic powder then baked, electrostaticly painted or the like.

Abstract: Holder for wine or other beverage boxes or the like which may be secured to a plane surface such as underneath a counter or directly to a wall by means of a support such as a L-shaped support. Said holder comprises a parallelepiped structure having an elongated element secured to same. In use, said elongated element is inserted into openings which are normally used as handles located on top of said boxes for engagement therein.

Abstract: A bottle holder for a vehicle safety seat having a restraining device for releasably retaining an infant in a seated position comprises a substantially planar, soft, resilient, flexible pad and means for releasably securing the pad to the restraining device in front of a seated infant. The pad has a chest shielding portion for covering the frontal profile of the infant's chest. A pair of laterally spaced apart upwardly projecting portions of the pad define an upwardly open bottle receiving yoke for cradlingly supporting and frictionally retaining a nursing bottle. A design imprinted on the frontal surface of the bottle holder comprises a fanciful animal figure having ears defined by the upwardly projecting portions.

Abstract: An adjustable clamp with an attached retaining ring is disclosed. The clamp is formed from two extrusions, an L-shpaed extrusion which includes a groove for receiving the retaining ring along with one portion of a hinge structure, and a U-shaped extrusion which includes a mating portion of a hinge structure. The retaining ring is seated in the groove or channel of the L-shaped extrusion and the edges or lips of the channel crimped closed to capture the retaining ring. The two extrusions are hingedly joined and then a bolt passed through one and into the other to form the clamp.

Abstract: A bag holder for holding the mouth of a bag open comprises a member defining an opening adapted to be received in the mouth of a bag and a flexible, resilient, elongate loop adapted for location around the exterior of the bag and the member to retain the bag on the member and hold the mouth of the bag open. The holder may be provided in the form of a kit of parts, the member being formed of elongate first and second parts of thin and flat edge overall, the first part being relatively rigid and the second part more flexible and longer than the first part. The free ends of the second part are adapted for engaging respective end portions of the first part to form the parts into a bow-shaped configuration defining an opening.

Abstract: A portable game support is disclosed which is constituted by, in combination, support means adapted to support game equipment in a stationary elevated position as the game proceeds, and a horizontal, rigid, gas-impervious platform, the support means being mounted upon the platform. Means are provided, to position the platform above the floor to provide a space therebetween, and resilient means surround the platform to seal the platform to the floor when the space between the platform and the floor is evacuated. The platform includes means for interconnecting the underside of the platform with pump means for providing a desired vacuum to maintain a strong securement between the platform and the floor as the game proceeds.

Abstract: A post assembly for use with mailboxes and the like includes a ground-engaging stake of angle-iron, the stake having a lower penetrating portion and an upper protruding portion. A post has a lower end including a diagonal surface and a channel entirely along one side including a slot along one edge of the channel for receiving the upper protrucing portion of the ground-engaging stake. Fasteners penetrating the ground-engaging stake upper protruding portion engage the channel portion of the post. A coverstrip covers the channel, upper protruding portion of the stake, and fasteners so as to permit the assembly to appear as a solid post.

Abstract: The rear support legs of a washing machine is automatically adjusted to compensate for unevenness in a support surface and place the machine in a stable position of operation by an assembly including a stabilizer bar provided with channel portions at its opposite ends disposed within bracket housings. The rear legs are slidably received through the bracket housings and channel portions for vertical movement, with each leg being provided with outwardly extending pins engaged within upwardly converging slots of a corresponding channel portion to floatingly secure the stabilizer bar to the bracket housings.

Abstract: A vibration compensating vehicle seat suspension combines the vertical movement of the parallelogram suspension with the pivoting of the knee-pivot suspension. Three embodiments all include a horizontal pivot for pivoting of the seat, and a sublinkage for simultaneous vertical movement of the seat. A first embodiment includes a horizontal pivot and a vertical slide for sliding of the pivot. A rocking lever which rocks due to pivoting of the seat causes sliding of the pivot. A second preferred embodiment includes a horizontal pivot and a linkage for vertical movement of the front of the seat. A third preferred embodiment includes a horizontal pivot, a vertical slide, and a spring for biasing the pivot.

Abstract: A new and improved drink holder for adjustable, detachable and stowable mounting upon a tubular member, the drink holder including an elongated connecting member and an adjustable strap which together define a receiving bore for releasable engagement of the tubular member. A platform, spaced apart from the base member, defines a cavity sized to receive a plurality of detachable retaining arms. The plurality of retaining arms are detachably and pivotally mounted to the platform for radial adjustment for receipt of the container therein.

Abstract: An equipment housing assembly includes: an equipment housing (11); a rack (13) for supporting the housing (11); and two spaced hold-down devices (17a, 17b) each comprising two co-operating separable parts (19a, 19b) secured respectively to the rear (21) of the housing (11) and the rack (13). The two parts (19a, 19b) of each device (17a, 17b) have co-operating parallel inclined planar surfaces (23a, 23b) angled to provide a hold-down force (H), and one part (19b) of each device is spring loaded to accommodate manufacturing variations in the front-to-back dimensions of the housing (11) and the rack (13).

Abstract: A support frame for supporting a computer and its accessories comprises a base frame assembly and an upper frame assembly, each having two side rails and two end rails defining a respective peripheral frame, retaining means on each peripheral frame to retain a computer or a computer accessory against dislodgement when supported by the base or upper frame assembly, and two carry handle assemblies which join the rails of the base frame and upper frame assemblies and retain them horizontal, each handle assembly having a handle which extends outwardly away from sides of both the base and upper frame assemblies.

Abstract: A bracket for temporarily securing a flat plate against a slide of a concrete block of a wall, the plate for covering an inspection hole formed in the side of the concrete block used for inspecting reinforcements within a cavity in the concrete block before being filled with concrete. The bracket is generally shaped like an inverted "L" fabricated of rigid, slender material such as metal wire or the like. The upright leg of the inverted "L" is structured to be inserted into the inner cavity of a concrete block, while the horizontal leg extends outwardly through mortar between two stacked concrete blocks. The exposed end of the horizontal leg is structured to supportively receive and releasably retain, in conjunction with at least one other such adjacent bracket, a rigid bar horizontally disposed adjacent the exposed side of a plate.

Abstract: A levelling system for a camera crane employs a tachometer directly coupled to a horizontal pivot of the crane. The output of this tachometer is used to control a motor which by means of a worm and worm gear controls the level of a camera remote head. A second tachometer is associated with the worm in order to provide a feedback signal to the servo-amplifier so as to maintain the motions of the boom about the pivot and the worm gear in synchronism.

Abstract: A hanger for a package has a frame extending downwardly from a hook and having a lower portion extending beyond a locking finger so as to prevent unnoticeable opening of a cover of a package held by the hanger. The locking finger is inclined to the plane of the frame and the frame has guide surfaces parallel to the locking finger so that the frame will be canted relative to the package to ensure the cover locking positioning of the hanger.

Abstract: An accessory attachment is provided in two components for supporting one end of a recreational vehicle sewer hose while cleaning the hose after use. A first component is a circular adapter support ring having overlapping terminal ends. One of the terminal end projects outward to form a support hook. The adapter support ring is expandable for fitting onto the exterior of differently sized sewer hose adapters. A second component of the device is a ring support plate formed of a flat annular metal disc adapted for attachment to the exterior of a recreational vehicle. The ring support plate is designed to releasably hold the support hook with the ring attached to a hose adapter and hold a sewer hose opened end up allowing the user to wash out the sewer hose without having to manually support the hose.

Abstract: An automotive remotely controlled rearview mirror assembly is remotely controlled from within an automobile for adjusting the angle of the reflecting surface of the rearview mirror to obtain a desired rear sight. The remotely controlled rearview mirror assembly comprises a housing adapted to be mounted on the automobile body by a mount, a mirror swingably supported in the housing, a control lever swingably mounted on the mount for remotely controlling the mirror for a desired angle thereof from within the automobile, and a link mechanism operatively interconnecting the mirror and the control lever and angularly movable vertically and laterally in response to swinging movement of the control lever. The link mechanism is angularly movable vertically about an axis which is inclined upwardly in a lateral direction away from a nominal vertical plane, and also angularly movable laterally about an axis which lies in a plane including a line substantially normal to a nominal horizontal plane.

Abstract: A bag holder is disclosed which is insertable into the ground surface, and which includes a bag holding ring which is pivotable between a folded, nonuse position, and an open use position. The ring is also vertically adjustable to accomodate different size of bags.
