    Abstract: An instant lottery ticket game system and method wherein a set of master instant lottery tickets includes instruction indicia printed in a master language and a ticket-specific code. For each of the master tickets, corresponding digital lottery tickets are saved in a file and include the instruction indicia in a foreign language, wherein the ticket-specific code on each master ticket links to the file associated with the master ticket. A game server is in communication with the files and is configured for communication with a player's smart device via an application downloaded to the smart device. Via the application, the player enters the ticket-specific code from the master ticket and is presented with an option to receive one or more of the foreign language digital lottery tickets transmitted to their smart device.

    Abstract: The majority of cognitive virtual reality (VR) applications have been for therapy, and not cognitive screening/scoring. Provided herein is the BrightScreenerâ„¢ and its first pilot feasibility study for evaluating elderly with various degrees of cognitive impairment. BrightScreener is a portable (laptop-based) serious-gaming system which incorporates a bimanual game interface for more ecological 3D interaction with virtual worlds. A pilot study determined that BrightScreener is able to differentiate levels of cognitive impairment based solely on game performance, as well as to evaluate the technology acceptance by the target population. Subsequent group analysis of the Pearson correlation coefficient showed a high degree of correlation between the subjects' MMSE scores and their Composite Game Scores (0.90, |P|<0.01). Despite the small sample size (n=11), results suggest that serious-gaming strategies can be used as a digital technique to stratify levels of Cognitive Impairment.

Various implementations could prioritize bandwidth based upon the content presented so that high-bandwidth scenes (e.g., action sequences) receive more bandwidth than more static scenes.

    Abstract: A gaming server can host a gaming session involving multiple players utilizing separate gaming devices. To ensure consistency across devices, the gaming server receives player-specific game data from each device then sends updated game state data to the gaming devices. Each gaming device includes a circular buffer that can contain up to a determined amount of recent game state data. If a device is to provide an instant replay, the devices can pull the state data from the circular buffer and cause the game replay to be rendered according to the timeline of the buffered game state data. Once the replay is finished, the game session resumes and new game state data is stored to the circular buffer. The gaming server can also store the game state data such that after the session the state data can be downloaded and a full replay rendered.
