  • Patent number: 10774833
Abstract: A scroll-type displacement machine, e.g. scroll compressor, has fixed and orbiting scrolls and an Oldham ring to prevent relative rotation between scrolls. A drive module positioned between the orbiting scroll and drive shaft incorporates an eccentric drive system and first and second counterweights for dynamic balancing. The motor, motor bearings, and motor shaft (i.e., drive shaft) are packaged as a separate, modular unit (e.g. “off-the-shelf” motor) that attaches to the compressor frame. The machine is configured as a high-side machine with a low-pressure port at a radial outer portion of the fixed scroll and a high-pressure port or discharge port located in the floor of the orbiting scroll at its axis, with high pressure flow passing over and around the eccentric drive bearing and drive mechanism. The Oldham ring is distributed on a lateral or radial plane of the scroll pair with a portion surrounding a portion of the fixed scroll and another portion surrounding a portion of the orbiting scroll.

  • Patent number: 10750912
Abstract: The present invention relates to a dental hygiene storage device that dispenses a salt and water mouthwash on demand by use of a sensor or control buttons. Salt water rinses are one of the best routines we can practice reducing the effects of, and even preventing oral diseases. Sodium chloride is an antibacterial agent which inhibits the growth and multiplication of bacteria. In addition to bacteria, more recent research demonstrates that inflammation may be responsible for a multitude of periodontal diseases to which salt water rinses also remove inflammation from the gum tissues. The invention consists of a compact base having an upstanding body, wherein the base is configured to rest on a horizontal support surface, such as a sink or countertop. The base may also include features used to mount the backside of the base to a vertical support surface, such as a wall. In addition to storage areas for dental hygiene products, the base will include reservoirs, or reservoir assemblies therein.

  • Patent number: 10744356
Abstract: A method of responding to a condition in an exhaust ventilation system that has an exhaust hood includes receiving, at a control module, an exhaust air temperature signal representing a temperature of the exhaust air in a vicinity of the exhaust hood, the exhaust air temperature signal being generated by a temperature sensor. The method also includes receiving a radiant temperature signal representing a temperature of a surface of a cooking appliance that generates the exhaust air, the radiant temperature signal being generated by a radiant temperature sensor. Further, the method includes receiving a pressure signal representing the pressure in the hood and determining a state of the cooking appliance based on the received exhaust air temperature signal, the received radiant temperature signal, and the received pressure signal. Finally, the method responds to the determined appliance state by outputting a control signal from the control module.

  • Patent number: 10730062
Abstract: Spray nozzle systems and methods of use are described herein. The spray nozzle system may include a stationary tube, a rigid rotor, and a sub-medium supply source. The stationary tube may be in fluid communication with a pressurized air source. The substantially rigid rotor is in fluid communication with the pressurized air source. The substantially rigid rotor includes a substantially rigid conduit that is in fluid communication with the passages of the stationary tube and the rotor. A portion of the conduit is substantially arched such that an outlet of the conduit is offset a radial distance in a radial direction from the rotor axis. Pressurized air ejected from the outlet produces directional components of the pressurized air in the direction of rotation about the rotor axis; and during use, the pressurized air rotates the rotor and sucks sub-medium from the sub-medium supply source into the stationary tube passage.

  • Patent number: 10703554
Abstract: A condiment dispenser which is activated by an electrical vibrator is described. The dispenser has a container with a storage space filled with condiment. The bottom wall of the container is riddled with a multiplicity of spreading apertures. At the idle state the vibrator is deactivated and the apertures are blocked by a banded frame. The blocking frame isolates the condiment and prevents atmospheric moisture accumulation. At the active state the activated vibrator vibrates the condiment while the banded frame is moved such that the apertures are uncovered and facilitate condiment spreading. A multiple condiments dispenser is also presented. The multiple condiments dispenser has several separate containers and a vibrator which can vibrate all the condiments. The user selects which particular condiment to dispense by pressing the button which uncovers the apertures of the selected container while activating the vibrator.

  • Patent number: 10648447
Abstract: A mechanical structure used for extracting energy from oscillating marine waves is submitted. The apparatus comprises a plurality of buoyant tanks connected by a plurality of horizontal outriggers through a hinge assembly to a vertical frame located between the buoyant tanks. Marine waves create a pitching motion in the tanks forcing the outriggers to ascend and descend causing the vertical frame to rotate perpendicularly along the horizontal axis of the hinge. The power extraction system is comprised of a plurality of hydraulic cylinders connected to the vertical frame and outriggers. The pitching motion of the buoyant tanks and outriggers produce a vertical rotation along the horizontal axis of the hinge in the vertical frame, which forces contraction and expansion of the hydraulic cylinder assembly, thus extracting power from the relative motion between the members.
