Abstract: Methods and devices for selectively presenting a user interface or “desktop” across two devices are provided. More particularly, a unified desktop is presented across a device and a computer system that comprise a unified system. The unified desktop acts as a single user interface that presents data and receives user interaction in a seamless environment that emulates a personal computing environment. To function within the personal computing environment, the unified desktop includes a process for docking and undocking the device with the computer system. The unified desktop presents a new user interface to allow access to functions of the unified desktop.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods for deploying a prototype of a user interface. For example, the method may include providing a single sign-on process over a communications network for enabling a user to access a design environment. The method may also include providing the design environment to the user for designing the UI. The method may also include deploying, via the design environment, the prototype of the UI to an instance from among a plurality of instances. Each of the plurality of instances may be associated with a different stage in a development process for designing the UI. Deploying the prototype of the UI may include transitioning the prototype of the UI from a first stage to a second stage of the development process.

Abstract: A power device and a method for visualizing information thereof are provided. The power device is configured to provide operation power to at least one load. The power device comprises a display interface and a control circuit. The control circuit is configured to display a color icon by the display interface, so as to show at least one of a system status and a system setting of the power device by the color icon.

Abstract: Systems, methods and devices for surfacing web content in an operating system shell construct are provided. A taskbar web content element size may be selected based on an amount of free space in a taskbar. First and second scored web content may be received, wherein the web content is scored based at least on the web content's relevance score to a first user account. A taskbar web content topical display category corresponding to the first web content may be selected based on the first web content having a higher score than the second web content. A web content element of the selected size and topical display category may be caused to be surfaced in the taskbar. A selection of the surfaced web content element may be received and a subset of the first web content form the first source may be caused to be surfaced in a web content pane.

Abstract: A method for partially publishing edits to a document is described. A first document including a first cell and a second cell is displayed on first user account on a first computing device and on a second user account. A second document including a linked version of the first cell and a linked version of the second cell is displayed. An edit of the first cell is received from the first user account and an edit of the second cell is received. In response to receiving an indication from the first user account that the edit of the first cell is to be published, the edit of the first cell is made to the linked version of the first cell, while the linked version of the second cell is unchanged so that the content of the linked version of the second cell no longer matches that of the second cell.

A lead incident recorder may request any of several support tasks be accepted by other subsystems configured to Follow. Tactical support tasks may be requested. Communication support tasks may be requested. Collection support tasks may be requested. Collection support tasks may include directives for operation of an incident recorder.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and storage media are described for indicating deceptive or trustworthy resources are provided. A client system generates and renders a graphical user interface (GUI) comprising one or more graphical objects in a client application. The client system identifies resources corresponding to individual graphical objects. The client system communicates the identified resources to a reputation system, and obtains indicators indicating deceptive resources to be obfuscated and/or trustworthy resources to be illuminated. The client system obfuscates the deceptive resources and illuminates the trustworthy resources according to the received indicators. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for providing layouts for a remote desktop session. According to one aspect, a method comprises receiving, at a remote application server, a request from a client device to initiate a remote desktop session, extracting configuration information regarding the client device from the request, retrieving, from a database, a layout that defines one or more remote applications and configurations for the one or more remote applications executing on the remote desktop session, initiating the remote desktop session with the client device, launching the one or more remote applications defined in the layout and configuring the one or more remote applications according to the configurations.

Abstract: In some embodiments, a multifunction device with a display and a touch-sensitive surface creates a plurality of workspace views. A respective workspace view is configured to contain content assigned by a user to the respective workspace view. The content includes application windows. The device displays a first workspace view in the plurality of workspace views on the display without displaying other workspace views in the plurality of workspace views and detects a first multifinger gesture on the touch-sensitive surface. In response to detecting the first multifinger gesture on the touch-sensitive surface, the device replaces display of the first workspace view with concurrent display of the plurality of workspace views.

Abstract: Media sets may be presented as a media presentation (e.g., a slideshow or a thumbnail set), but many such presentations exhaust the attention of a user, particularly for large media sets. Instead, ratings may be identified that represents the relevance or interest of respective media objects of the media set to the user. These ratings may be identified explicitly by the user or automatically detected (e.g., by assessing image quality or monitoring user interactions with respective media objects). A zoomable media presentation of the media set may first present only media objects having a high rating, and upon zooming in near a media object, may insert, near the zoomed media object, one or more media objects associated with the zoomed media object and having a lower rating. This presentation therefore hierarchically organizes the media set, and utilizes zoom operations as a “drill-down” metaphor within the hierarchy of the media set.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for providing predictive user interface elements. A computing system may train a machine-learning model to identify issues that are likely being experienced by users contacting a customer service system based at least in part on historical user account data of a plurality of user accounts. When a request for assistance is received, user account data corresponding to the request may be obtained and provided to the model to identify issues likely experienced by a user. A number of graphical user interface (GUI) elements (e.g., “match cards”), each corresponding to one of the identified issues, may be generated, ranked, and presented in accordance with the ranking. Each GUI element may be selectable. Upon selection additional data likely to be pertinent to the selected issue may be presented alleviating a need to search for this data as would be the case in conventional systems.

Abstract: An apparatus for determining the position of artificial reality wearables may include a wearable dimensioned to be donned by a user of an artificial reality system. The apparatus may also include a sensor incorporated into the wearable. The sensor may detect physical interactions between the wearable and at least one specific body part of the user. The apparatus may further include a processing device communicatively coupled to the sensor. The processing device may determine, based at least in part on one or more physical interactions between the wearable and the specific body part of the user, a change in a position of the wearable relative to the specific body part of the user. Various other apparatuses, systems, and methods are also disclosed.

Abstract: Data is received from one or more sensors in a first communication endpoint. The received data is related to a communication session between the first communication endpoint and at least a second communication endpoint. For example the communication session may be a voice call between the first communication endpoint and the second communication endpoint. An action, a user, and a resource are identified based on the received data. A display is generated on the first communication endpoint that presents at least one of a simplified user interface command and a simplified user interface command builder. The simplified user interface command and the simplified user interface command builder are generated based on the identified user, action, and resource.
