  • Patent number: 11427207
Abstract: A system may include sensors that may acquire health data related to an individual. The system may also include a processor that may receive trip data associated with a current location of the individual and a destination location for the individual, traffic condition data associated with routes between the current location and the destination location, and weather related data associated with the routes. The processor may also receive the health data from the sensors and determine whether the individual is associated with a driver assessment score above a threshold based on the trip data, the traffic condition data, the weather data, the health data, or any combination thereof. The processor may then send an activation signal to a vehicle control system in response to the driver assessment score being above the threshold, such that the activation signal may enable the vehicle control system to control operations of a vehicle.

  • Patent number: 11423759
Abstract: The techniques of this disclosure relate to a driver-monitoring system. The system includes a controller circuit that receives monitoring data from a driver-monitor sensor that is configured to monitor a driver of a vehicle while the vehicle operates in an autonomous-driving mode. The controller circuit determines a score of one or more driver-supervisory metrics based on the monitoring data, each of the driver-supervisory metrics being indicative of whether the driver is supervising the operation of the vehicle. The controller circuit determines a supervision score based on the score of the driver-supervisory metrics. The supervision score is indicative of whether the driver is ready to resume control of the vehicle. The controller circuit indicates a driver-awareness status on a display in a field of view of the driver based on the supervision score. The system can improve vehicle safety by alerting the driver when the driver exhibits reduced driver awareness behavior.

Abstract: A method for parking guidance and a parking guidance system are provided. The parking guidance system includes one or more access points located in a parking area that includes a plurality of parking spaces. Every access point collects parking information from parking space sensors disposed at different places of the parking area. The system provides an application that is executed in a device in a vehicle, and the application is used to communicate with the one or more access points. The method for parking guidance is performed in each of the access points. • Patent number: 11417208
Abstract: A video analytics based image verification system for obtaining initial vehicle profiles is presented. The system may include an external processing server that receives a location of a vehicle and proximate traffic information to determine whether it is safe for a user to obtain an initial vehicle profile. The external processing server may further determine first and second profile features from video data indicative of the vehicle. The external processing server may compare the second profile feature to an image verification indicator to generate an image verification score. A provider server may receive the first profile feature and the image verification score from the external processing server, and update a risk evaluation to include the initial vehicle profile if the image verification score is above an image verification threshold.

  • Patent number: 11361647
Abstract: A system and method of wirelessly tracking a walking assistance tool notifies a user from escaping past a safe perimeter and monitors the location of the walking assistance tool with respect to the user. The system includes a wearable device, a locator tag, and a walking assistance tool. The method begins by tracking a current device location with the wearable device, and a current tag location is tracked with the locator tag. The current tag location is relayed from the location tag to the wearable device. A distance difference is calculated between the current device location and the current tag location with the wearable device. A separation alert is outputted with the wearable device, if the distance is greater than or equal to a proximal distance threshold. A desertion alert is outputted with the wearable device, if the current device location is outside of a geofenced area.
